Delamina EAST in Tower Hamlets

Excellent table service from the friendly and knowledgable waiters plus delicious and unusual food makes this a great place to eat out! I can thoroughly recommend this delightful restaurant.

I am always wary of these type of places. Looks beautiful, presented beautifully but the flavours aren’t there. Exactly that unfortunately. Looked great, cooked well just no real flavour. The staff were lovely and attentive but just feels like one of them instagrammable places. The Qunioa salad was very good rest just not enough dept, the humous and also the chicken thigh.

The food was exceptional, totally delicious flavours! Top quality food & its very close to the Van Gogh exhibition. The staff were so lovely, would definitely go back!!

We had been recommended the restaurant by some friends and it didn't disappoint. The menu is great - we love Mediterranean food and the size of the menu and the options were brilliant - both for starters (sharing plates) and the main courses. Stunning vegetarian food for us- especially the Rosary Goats Cheese and Pear, and the Pita Balagan. Also we loved our waiter. A really special meal for our celebration.

The food is really good but the menu itself is quite baffling. The menu is organised according to whether the food is vegetable, meat or fish. However, it is completely unclear whether the item is a starter or a main, whether some are sharing dishes or not etc. The staff were not a lot of help. The waiter was training another waiter and we had to call them a few tines in order to get service and to try and make sense of the menu. The place itself was busy so booking is advised. As I say the food was good but the menu is confusing.

What a fabulous restaurant and overall experience. We booked the restaurant randomly as we were staying in the Aldgate area. What a great experience. The food was totally unique and fabulously tasty and inventive. We all were completely wowed by everything we ate and drank!

We came here on Sunday evening 11th february 2024 to celebrate my husbands sixty fourth birthday. We ordered vegetarian dishes,roast cauliflower,houmous,fritters,aubergine,mushroom,a good variety of vegetarian dishes,then chocolate mouse and pitachio and date cake. It was all very tasty!

I'm not normally someone who raves about places, but the food here was absolutely delicious. All in all it was a tastebud sensation! Every dish we had was so tasty, particularly the goats cheese with chicory & roasted pear and the charred cauliflower - who knew that cauliflower could taste this good! Can't recommend it enough.

A first visit, hopefully not the last as this was a great experience. The mid-eastern flavours were really tastefully combined with lovely presentation. A good drinks menue with middle eastern themed cocktails. But the main quality was great and wholesome food, fresh flavours. Lovely friendly service on a cold Saturday afternoon.

I walked past this place and thought it had "curb appeal" and picked it for a meal where those attending needed somewhere vegetarian friendly. While the larger dishes do skew meat/fish, the smaller plates offer a variety of options to fill that requirement. On arrival there was a bustling atmosphere that got my hopes up I had chosen well, and the food and service simply confirmed that to be the case. Hard to pick a stand out dish, but for the meat eaters the Koftas were superb and honestly it is hard to go past the humble slow-roasted tomatoes on grilled bread. It is often the simple things that show the true worth of a restaurant, and Delamina gets those spot on. The cocktails also went down well, but if I had a quibble, the wine list skews a little high on the mark ups. In fairness, that's a fairly common London complaint, and I still happily recommend eating here.
