We’ve been here several times and it’s always on point here, Phil is always really kind and pleasant to talk to while waiting for my fish and chips would definitely recommend.

This was the first time I used this fish and chip shop, the service was friendly and quick to fill order, the batter was really crispy and seasoned, chip shop curry sauce was good and the onion rings were epic, crunchy and real onion in them. I recommend using the self-service till to get 10% off your order, especially if rammed, all in all a great experience.

smallest large cod I've ever seen .usually a regular customer but don't think il be using again after the size of the jokingly called large cod I've just been delivered.

I usually order from here but rather disappointed tonight . Ordered a large cod and what turned up was barley a medium size cod . I put it on a side plate rather than a dinner plate and it still looks small ..a tea cup rather than mug next to this for scale . I really hope this is a one off but with living costing so much and as a treat for tea I felt a review was worthy if to only make sure this doesn't happen to other customers !!

I’m Scottish so all we do is deep fry everything. My father owned a chippy in Scotland! This is the best fish and chips I have had this side of the border. Honestly wonderful, fish was tasty and the batter was very light and crispy, cooked right through. The chips and were awesome as was the curry sauce. All For 13.87 with a Coke Zero. Delighted to have found and come for dinner here. You won’t go wrong in my opinion. 5 out of 5! 💪

Chip butty hardly had any chips, one sausage was missing so we had to split a sausage between 2 adults! Awful this time.

Great portion sizes, great value for money. The chips are thick and not oily. Great size portion of curry sauce as well which is a win from me!

Great lunch, we each had the managers special which was fish and chips with a choice of curry sauce or mushy peas and a drink. The food was freshly cooked and really hot and delicious. The staff were all very friendly. Will definitely go again

travelling scotsman far from home here! enjoyed my large cod and chips - great big bit of fish and the chips were nice; everything nice and fresh, much better than cheap places nearby! staff were an absolute pleasure! (fish and chips: £12.18, can coke zero: £1.69)

Delivery time says 25-40mins but it was over an hour. Halloumi bites were incredibly salty and some of the chips weren’t fully cooked.

Was disappointed with fish bites, really small, more batter than fish. Chicken bites have gotten smaller too. Wasn't go value. Have ordered this meal a few times and always been tasty and good value. Wont be ordering again.

This is a lovely place for a simple hot lunch. They serve other things on the menu than fish, although chips are ubiquitous, but that said, the chips are properly cooked. The restaurant is very quiet, causing a lack of atmosphere, but staff are friendly and helpful. I would hate to see them close due to lack of customers as they offer the best fish and chips in the local area.

Placed a £42 order tonight including mushy peas & curry sauce, didn't realise they hadn't been put in the bag until we got home. Too far to go back & complain with the evening traffic, so very disappointed.

A chance stop in, and we're so glad we did. What was supposed to be a take away for dinner at home ended up being eaten in the car and was about finished before we got home. Definitely must be eaten hot and the sooner the better. Really good food and very tasty.

I went into the restaurant and was physically pushed out by the manager what caused me to fall and hit my head , back , and thigh . He then told me he thought I had a knife so I proved i didn’t and got told to “f*ck off you c*nt” I entered again to put in a complaint and was pushed out again I went and emailed the company and was told I would receive a gift card and they will investigate They just told me that I am not getting a gift card and that nothing wrong happened I am disappointed with the service and customer service

We have had fish and chips from here a few times and whilst it is very pricey and the portions are normally pretty small, they have always been really good. We decided to pop in for some lunch today and we took them to the car and had a sneaky chip before heading home and the chips were cooked, however the chips were hard in the middle and nasty. I went back in to chat to the guy who I think owns the place or manager at least. He got stuck into our chips and told me they were fine and he’d eat them alll day long. He did re do some fresh chips for us but unfortunately they were still the same when we got home. Well cooked but still hard and the majority went into the bin. Nice battered sausage and curry sauce was good but I think they have changed potatoes or a bad batch because they where disgusting and whilst he claimed everything was the same it couldn’t have been as both where rank. The photo shows all the dark bit on them too. Real shame!

The Fish & Chips Were Good. I Also Ordered It Twice But With A Sausage This Time, But The Sausage Tasted Like A TOFU SAUSAGE. I've Never Been To A Fish & Chip Cafe' That Has TOFU SAUSAGES! 2 Stars.

I've ordered three times from here in total I think, and each time I've been left with the same opinion. The fish and the battered sausages are the nicest in Norwich, the chips are below average. The chips just seem to lack flavour and are ever so slightly undercooked for my liking. But I'm already craving the fish and sausages from here again, they really are the best.

I don’t live in the area but bought take away fish and chips whilst visiting my father. The staff were very cheery and helpful. The food was good.

Went with my mum for lunch and overall it was pretty good. I had the managers special cod and chips which was fine, and my mum had the scampi and chips. I do feel like the chips taste better in the evenings for some reason, which is why it's a 4 star review. Not bad though and I will continue to go there.

Been coming here years - the gluten free options are excellent and the gf batter is so crunchy! Brilliant service always, lucky staff. Best chippy for miles!

Wonderful service, Great food, the only chippy that doesn’t trigger my milk allergy! Staff are really kind when my 7yo son practices social skills and orders and very patient and kind to him. Wouldn’t use another chippy!

I had the haddock and chips special for £6.99 at lunchtime with an additional 10% NHS Bluelight card discount, which I thought was excellent value for money. We always get takeaway chips from here. The food is fantastic, so much so that we drive further to get them rather than go to fish and chip shops closer to our house. Staff are always very friendly; service is great. Chips are well cooked but not too greasy!
