A very good staff specially a big men with glasses I didn’t know his name he is a gentleman and the food is also very good

Been here loads of times and quality is always excellent and staff are always happy and helpful

Chips are great more often than not, but sometimes get the end of a batch/some that aren’t so fresh that can be really disappointing!

Went to get fish and chips for the family but was told the wait would be more than an hour. Went elsewhere and won't be going there again.

They sent the wrong items, ordered regular sausage sent two battered. Food was stone cold when arrived. Worst Ive had from here, normally good.

Banging cod and chips, get the gravy!

Great chips cooked in vegetable oil so safe for vegans like me! Also NHS discount makes it that much nicer. Can't recommend this chippy enough.

2025 05 01 This evening the plaice was choice. It was excellent. I tend to have the senior portion and I find it quite adequate for me 2024 11 18 We came back here after being invited by friends who said how good it is. I was nervous after the last visit; however I am pleased to say it was a good experience. We used the app and I ordered a senior plaice and chips and my wife ordered haddock and chips. Both very nicely cooked and tasty. We'll definitely recommend it and come again 2018 I should have read the reviews before going here. £6.40 for a dry overcooked piece of cod which had obviously been cooked in oil that was too hot as the batter was all blown. The chips were mainly comprised of bits and the ones that weren't were soggy and greasy. I should have asked to see what went into the box but the lady was very clever at closing it so I didn't see it before I took it away. A bad experience not to be recommended or repeated.

The food was awful, fish was rock hard and old and the gherkin was so small it was gone in 2 bites. Would not recommend for the price. I want a refund

We visited on a Monday night. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Good sized restaurant, plenty of parking. The takeaway was busy, too. Definitely vist again.

We had the pleasure of being served by Phil, who was super friendly and welcoming, extremely polite and even gave us some mushy peas and curry sauce for free!
