I just popped in for a drink and chose a camomile and honey tea to help after a busy week. The tea was served by a lovely lady . It was in mid matched vintage chins which I love and was delicious and calming. Other customers were having sweet treats and it was clear that the staff go above and beyond to make the experience as individual as possible. A child was served a vegan ice cream with extra added vegan chocolate bits. Would definitely come again . Lovely place.

I took my God Mother to Debbie Bryan for an afternoon tea to celebrate her 85th birthday. We both had such a lovely afternoon. The tea was fabulous, so tasty and catered for both our dietary needs - I am vegan. My Auntie Pat said the scone was the best she'd ever had !! The two young ladies looking after us were very friendly, helpful and attentive. It's a great place and I'd highly recommend it! This is my second visit and I will definitely be back again !!

If you love to craft (or even just afternoon tea), then you'll absolutely love this place! Was looking for a craft activity to do as I was in Nottingham for the day, and ended up finding this gem of a place. I had contacted them beforehand and Katie kindly helped to get me in as a solo booking. I did the Crafternoon of Teacup Floristry and had an amazing afternoon tea - it was exactly what I was looking for. The decor is so cute and all the team were super helpful and friendly. I just wish I had one of these places closer to me - can you please come to Shropshire?! Katie in particular was really helpful in going through how the crafternoon worked, and then I was left to have fun creating. I never felt rushed and was offered my afternoon tea once I was ready - and it was so good! Would 100% travel to Nottingham just to go back here!

Spent a smashing afternoon here with a group of ladies for my friend's baby shower, and we were really impressed with the afternoon tea. Great food/drink, delicious cakes, wonderful and attentive service, gorgeous little venue. All very easy to arrange, and some very particular dietary requirements were no issue at all. The shop area at the front is a lovely addition too. This place couldn't have been more perfect for my friend, who'd never been but loved it. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Debbie Bryan is the best place in Nottingham for vegan afternoon tea, can always rely on excellent quality and good portions. We had such an amazing time at Debbie Bryan for our team Christmas get together: afternoon tea followed by a dried wreath making crafternoon. The three of us absolutely love crafts, and couldn't think of any better way to spend an afternoon than loads of tea, coffee and cake and unlimited access to boxes and boxes of dried flowers. The guidance given was super helpful, and the tea room itself is so beautiful and creative — a proper little treasure trove hidden away in Nottingham's side streets. Also: such good chocolate brownies, and amazing scones too. We're moving into a studio close by in the new year, so we'll definitely be back whenever we need a creative fix!

The yummy homemade fruit scones arrived warm (lovely touch) with clotted cream and strawberry jam 😋 Lots of interesting decorative touches and on entry, a small arts and crafts area with items for sale. I called in with a friend for afternoon tea.I always enjoy coming here because it is a venue in which to sample home made food and experience a unique atmoshere in a delightful old building..Because it is right in the centre of the Lace District of Nottingham it has the purpose of encouraging all forms of creative art, so besides selling food and drinks it also has handicraft and art lessons. The staff who work here are also well qualified in their own artistic areas and are happy to talk about their knowledge and passion. I had a savoury scone with cherry tomato and basil pesto. My friend had homemade soup with freshly made bread. We were both very happy with our meals and the very reasonable prices. We both like to support local, independent businesses. Whilst eating, you can take your time to look at the quirky collection of artefacts on the walls and tables including bobbins from the local industry. They also have a large collection of lace examples. I dont know of any other local cafe with this sort of atmosphere. To give you some idea of possible refreshments , they sell different savoury scones, soup and olive bread, fruit scones, cakes and deserts.Look elsewhere if you want a beefburger and chips. There is a good range of teas (17!), 3 types of coffee, soft drinks including elderflower, hot chocolate and smoothies. I thoroughly recommend you try it out.You will not be disappointed.Check out their opening times on their website before making a visit.

We paid £37 per head for 4 courses and a bad expresso cocktail served in a tumbler with weird watery milk topping. Food was overpriced, we had vegan option, starters basic, nice cauliflower soup, soggy pastry and hard parsnips for main and a very large pudding in which we found a hair!! Complaints were ignored. And please .... do something about your toilet, massive damp patches and dirty windows. In fact the overall cleanliness was not good enough for a pop up restaurant.

Second time here but less impressed than the previous visit. When we sat down the table cloth was wet! We pointed it out to the waitress who told us it was clean as it had just come out of the washing machine……. You don’t say!!! What on earth would make you think putting a wet table cloth on was acceptable? As it was long we would have ended up with wet trousers, she did remove it and we proceeded with a bare table, no problem but the napkins were also wet so couldn’t put one on our laps. The food was very tasty and well cooked but we had two lots of bread and five of the nine dishes available (between four) and I certainly was still hungry. Waitress was lovely and service was good but not sure we’ll be giving it a third go.
