chips are hard and looks like theyve been there all day

Fish and chips was nice peas weren’t had no taste and not cooked properly

Ordered of these all the time but for some reason wasn’t happy today as chips were rock hard tasted like they had been warmed up and fritters weren’t even cooked properly and curry sauce was really watery

went into collect my order, the girl.serving was really busy during the teatime rush, but still managed to ask how I was, bless her, some lovely staff here & the food is really hot & delicious. thank you Deanies.

cant follow simple instructions! absolutely gutted last time i order here sauce with this meal usually comes with a tub inside they have doused the chips in curry again now everything tastes of curry! im a dipper not a swimmer, i even put a request in this time not to do it and it still arrived the same! unbelievable you just lost a customer!

not usually on to complain or say much but usually my food comes with two pots of sauce this time my whole meal was doused in curry sauce and a gravy sent with it, as much as i love my sauce its not a chip soup lol this is the first time ive had an order like this so willing to let it slide with juat a comment usually you guys are top notch

The place was very quiet, should have been a red flag, the worst chips and fish cake I’ve ever had. Not even warm, both items hard like they’ve been sat there. Will never go here again and I urge everyone to avoid like the plague.

I arrived bout 10 minutes after the shop had closed. The assistant asked what I'd like and they still served me as all I wanted was sausage and chips. The assistant was very friendly and the food was very nice. Best chips had in a very long time from a chippy

Used to love this place, regulars, once had the best fish there, been in today large chips and pudding and was about 6 chips and the chips, oh gosh the chips that cold it turned the gravy cold. Was hoping it got better but seems to be getting worse, and it only a.minutes walk.gone in the bin, no point taking it back or complaining, shall not be back this time I'm afraid

cant read instructions, gave me peas (i cant stand) and gravy no curry sauce! thats the one sauce i was looking forward to. foods great but little error failed the rating

Unusually not the usual high standard. ..no peas, with the fish chips and peas! and 2 small somewhat frazzled and dishevelled sausages instead of a large one...other than that ok.

Chips cold and hard probably from lunchtime

Food was greasy and cold! Didn’t add vinegar like I asked and they must be rationing salt these days too? The cupboard box it was served in with saturated with oil!

Chips were the best fish not so much didn’t like it had one bites and chucked it in the bin. It’s done not for me but the chips and the mushy peas went down a treat. The chips were really excellent today. Thank you everyone

I order 3x fish and chips and kid meal fish fingers and chips, received only 1 fish and chips and kid meal, ring to sort it out but was only suggested to ask for refund via just eat

Fantastic food, issue with delivery, but its busy times at the moment. Would definitely order again and is our go to chippy.

The curry sauce I ordered for my daughter was like cement it was so this her meal was cold

Food is cold, trays look like they have been throw in the car, gravy everywhere. Wasted money on this order

Fav chippy now. Only ever so slight issue, is the pop is always advertised as 1.5ltr, but always send 1.25ltr size. Wish they would change this on the website, as misleading. Other than that, no issues.

The burger bun is style and rock solid. The fruit it is like it’s a couple of days old created. The chips are hard and looks like they’ve been reheated as well along with the sausage. Tried to call the restaurant but got no way of phone in at the moment

Greasy overcooked fish. Chips looked/tasted like they were from the day before. Peas split everywhere. Worst we have ever had won't be having from here again. Avoid!!

I never leave bad reviews, but the food was absolutely shocking. Chips hard and lukewarm, tasted like they were yesterdays chips reheated. Sausages rock hard and bland, as was the fish Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Cold and i mean not even warm chips. Curry sauce was warming the chips up. Sort it out!! And we got them from the shop it self, so you can't even blame it on a delivery wait.

The chips were lovely good portion size. i like the beans but the mini fish was dry and very thin mostly batter not really much fish in it was very disappointed.

The chippy was awesome, the actual just eat delivery driver took near enough an hour to show up and got stuck in tunstall for 20+ minutes. I wouldn't mind but the food was just salvageable by time it got here.

On issue, large bottles of pop are advertised as 1.5ltr but sent twice now only a 1.25ltr. Please amend the price or the size of the advertised bottle.

Worse chips I’ve ever had, not even fresh, very likely been left from the day before, rock hard the lot of them. Never having anything from here again.

Terrible food this time, we ordered X2 Jumbo sausage chips and sauce meals. I had gravy, so had curry sauce. They sent X2 small sausage instead which were dry and horrible. I literally had a very tiny amount of gravy I had to make more which defeats the purpose. So curry sauce was spicy and tasted like powder not traditional chip shop curry. Proper let down and waste of money. Shane as every other time it's been perfect.

Just received my food chips or not cooked the harden basically not cooked and curry sauce was all over the wrapping inside the bag. It came in that they wrapped the chips up in very very disappointed.

I ordered a 1.5l bottle of coke with i paid for and didnt recieve it, i got x3 cans on 330ml coke.

Food was delicious, Gemma was brilliant, only problem I encountered was that Just eat wouldn't let me place the order b4 16.45.. but the shop was open! However, the order had gone thru on just eat website + payment was taken, but not come thru in the shop, so Gemma made order as it was in my fone. Brilliant service, Thank you 😊

The steak and gravy Pie was more like Mince. Was not what I wanted. The chips were rubbery as if they had been microwaved. I asked if I could have my gravy on the side and they just put it all over my food.

Only giving 2 stars as the fritters are ok! The chips are disgusting! Stale, dry, rank! Wouldn't recommend!

First time ordering from here and we did enjoy it, the chips were only slightly warm which let it slightly down.

Came in this evening whilst on shift after looking for ages for a chippy open on a Sunday, the ladies behind the till were lovely! The food is spot on too, especially for the price! Will deffo be recommended in the future! Thanks ladies two very happy and fed carers :)

Really good fish and chips, the curry sauce has a nice little kick to it that you don't usually get with chip shop curry sauce. Highly recommended.

Specifically as chip shop on the notes to make sure the food was hot space and the chips however when we received it called chips tasted really rank the beer tastes like it was stale so on your own back be only ever Adam nice it once it's kind of annoying because you don't get no money back when the food is bad

Food received cold no refund chips were as cold as ice maybe a little not that cold but they're cold shame that because they used to be good only ever Adam nice from here once dead crispy perfect they were not anymore staff you need to put your finger out and get it right

It was delivered on time and the food was fine would of of loved more of a thicker crisper batter on the fish and the curry source was nice and the chips was nice as well.

Delivery driver couldn't find us

The curry sauce was really salty and the batter on the fish was soggy. We also had a few bones in our fish which put us off eating it.

The food was awful. I ordered cod in breadcrumbs . It was burnt and did not taste like cod. The chips tasted as if they had been reheated and old. A complete waste of money. Will never use them again.

Place and order. Waited 20 minutes for confirmation. Just to be cancelled for no reason. Will not use again

What's the point in giving people the option for salt and vinegar If tou still don't put it on anyway. Had chicken burger, bap was that dry it crumbled as I picked it up. Disappointed that couldn't really order a double cheese burger without having no option other than have sauce on it. Improvements could definitely be made

Chips for slightly cold but all good anyway I'll give him a go I like them so yeah you should too
