Booked an early table at 6:45pm as had children in the group. Ordered food within a few minutes of arrival but unfortunately took until 8:40pm before we all had our main courses which arrived a few at a time.

Bellissimo locale che fa parte dell’hotel , abbiamo cenato e preso la prima colazione e devo dire che si mangia molto bene, ottima cucina, davvero molto curata. Il personale è ottimo e attento ai bisogni del cliente. Sicuramente da consigliare.

Vinimos a este pub para cenar hace un año, y vaya, qué diferencia hace un año. Tuvimos una pizza verdaderamente excepcional y el servicio fue excelente. Regresamos este año, y aunque el servicio se ha mantenido bueno, la cocina es todo menos eso. Honestamente puedo decir que no he estado tan decepcionado en mucho tiempo. No hubo pizzas porque aparentemente "no habían pedido lo suficiente". El aperitivo era aceptable, pero la salsa tartare necesita atención. Con mucho, la mayor decepción fue el camambert. ¿Incluso investigaron lo que es? ? Había dos bollos de queso empanizado (¿quién hace pan aparte de mcdonalds?) Enviados sin pan (¿en serio?) Y ensalada vieja. No volverá el próximo año  (Ver foto)

Almorcé aquí con amigos y me sorprendió gratamente. Esperaba tener una ensalada, pero lamentablemente no había ninguna en el menú, así que elegí el queso macaroni. Hubiera sido mejor con más queso! Las otras comidas se veían bien y tenían un precio razonable, así que intentaré algo diferente la próxima vez. El personal (¿propietarios?) Eran geniales. Vuelvo enseguida.

I had a lovely meal .i had pie of the day with proper chips absolutely lovely. My partner had macaroni cheese which he said was the best ever. Highly recommend

Staying at the hotel so decided to eat in the pub. It was lovely. Excellent meal . The onion rings are fab . Service brilliant and I was made to feel very welcome. This is certainly a lovely place to have a meal and my room is very nice too .

Good, reasonably-priced food with excellent service. Good menu choice. Would certainly eat here again.

We had a 3 course dinner on Mother's Day. Had fish cake for starter which come out pretty quick and was very nice. Had roast for mains again was very nice only thing that I wasn't keen on his I prefer to poor my own Gravy, as only like a little and they put too much on. Desert was lovely. staff were great very attentive.

We visited this pub due to it advertising that it was dog friendly. I called in advance to check if ok to reserve a table and bring our dog. On arrival it was such a shame we could not sit in the main room with the fire but advised we could sit in the bar with the dog. We were provided with a dog water bowl and even some biscuits, which was a lovely touch. The bar and waiting staff were lovely, recommending a lovely red wine. The food was enjoyable and we were having a lovely evening until the manager appeared with an abrupt attitude telling us that we were not permitted to stay as there was live music starting in 30 minutes. He even tried to turn away another couple who had just come in with their dog who were meeting friends and wanted to stay and listen to the band. To be fair my problem is with the rude attitude of the manager and the way he spoke to us, advising that it was their policy that dogs were not permitted when there was a band on. I said that this should be advertised on their website or advised when we called earlier. Perhaps they could reconsider their arrangement and allow dogs in the other side when there is a band playing. The manager completely ruined my evening. Having just moved to the area we thought this could be a lovely local where we could bring our children and dog, however having met this manager I will now have to reconsider and find an alternative bar. He really lets this pub down.

We had a relaxing meal with friends. Owners or managers very attentive. Pub grub. We would return. Lovely evening.

Had dinner and breakfast in the pub of the hotel, it was tasty, cutlery clean, staff attentive and polite. There was also live music in the evening, but unfortunately I was too tired to enjoy... :) Everything was in order, fully recommended. Not expensive, good value.

Popped out for a mid week treat at The dean Park Inn and wasn't disappointed, friendly welcome, good service and fabulous food. Homemade chicken and vegetable pie with mash was excellent, as was the house burger with fantastic chips. Will certainly return.

Home cooked pub food good selection of food and drink good prices lovely environment and open fire friendly staff also and jazz nights on a Monday and blues on Tuesdays

Good coffee and delicious dessert. You will enjoy the court in a sunny autumn day savoring a coffee or a drink. Do not hesitate to try some dessert, anyone! You also have to choose from a list of dishes and special offers.

I was visiting bournemouth and as usual I invited 2 of my friends to a meal and catch up

We ate here for one night, there were 5 of us however when the food arrived only 4 meals came, the member of staff had forgotten to put through one of the meals, it was another 20 minutes later before the last meal was served, we did not pay for this meal..

stayed at this hotel and ate there, food was very good, great value for money, service great well presented

Went for a family meal, atmosphere was very friendly.The food was well presented and good value for money.A good choice for pub food.Very efficient waitress and very friendly.On the whole a good evening.

Excellent food and service with plenty of options and specials. We enjoyed the ambience and the decor as well. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Car parking can be hectic on some of the event nights but the staff will help advise where else is suitable, especially if you are staying overnight.

The newly refurbished Dean Park Inn is certainly worth a visit for lunch with colleagues and friends. Cheerful staff, good food and a comfortable atmosphere.

Only here for one night as a stop over for Bournemouth Airport. There was a small issue with the key for the room not working because someone had locked the door from the inside, but after offering to find us an alternative room elsewhere they went out of their way to fix the problem and then offered us a discounted rate for all the trouble (but the trouble had been all theirs) so we were delighted with the above and beyond service we had received. We had a meal whilst waiting for the room which was also excellent. Nice friendly helpful staff and clean and pleasant room. Would definitely recommend.

haven't been here for ages. it has all been done out since we last went here. Nice and clean, pleasant interior. Great for a meeting with lunch. very good service, friendly. lots of choice on the menu. Good ham , egg and chips; my sausages, mash and veg were filling. generous portions, comfortable atmosphere, good service.

Went along for a quiz night and decided to eat. Very friendly service and excellent food at very good prices.This is a lovely little pub with friendly people and a good buzz Will be returning

Popped into the Dean Park Inn for a bite to eat on our way back to our flat. It was great - traditional pub fayre served promptly and courteously by friendly, genuine staff. Plenty of choice on the menu, the only thing missing was a good steak dish. We'll certainly be back.

An Oasis of warmth and comfortable ambience in this busy urban Bournemouth sector.The oak panelled walls and deep upholstered benches in the cosy alcoves all add to a feeling of yesteryear luxury. The staff are polite and proficient. As a pre-mothers day lunch we ate on Saturday instead of the following Sunday. The main course was better than expected. A cow pie that even Desperate Dan would give a five star rating. The vegetable cooked to al dente. Just the way I like them. The only reason I don't give the full five stars was the pudding. My apple crumble was disappointing in taste and consistency. As was the bread and butter pudding. The custard was also a disappointment. Must do better in the pudding department

Picked this pub as near to where we were visiting this pm. Booked a table but nit sure why we bothered because there was no reservation to any of the tables and we were told to sit where we like. Food was good - great choice of winter warmer comfort food cross with contemporary pub grub classics. We had a very short wait for our meals. They were piping hot, nicely presented and even more pleasing very good value for the quality.We sat in the far bar and restaurant as the lounge was the venue for a jazz night and so it was much more conducive to dining. Only one criticism my mum is disabled and whilst the two areas had toilets there was only one disabled toilet and it was inly accessible through the other bar and this was a long way to walk for some one with mobility issues yet if you are able bodied there is ample easily accessible toilets- hardly seems ideal for those whose mobility is compromised.

Had a great meal tonight with my daughter with good friendly service. Highly recommend a visit for atmosphere, drinks or food in traditional surroundings.

We visited the Dean Park Inn / Hotel for a lunch in March 2014 and were delighted with the ambience, staff and décor. The freshly prepared lunch was excellent and the waitresses couldn't have been more attentive. The Hotel is a mile up Wimborne Road from Bournemouth Square so a little off the beaten track. It has a large car park and a garden with shady trees. Catch any bus to Cemetery Junction from the town centre.
