Came to have a kebab guy started to offer other things I said just kebab and chips and up have no chips

I’ve always been a huge fan of kebab ye, so since recently moving to the dawley area I thought I’d sample the local one. I wasn’t disappointed! In fact the food tasted even more amazing. It was hot, fresh, really good size portion & excellent value for money. Not to mention the friendly warm welcome I received when I went in to collect my order. Highly recommend

I haven’t had a kebab in years. So I went down to Kebab Ye to get a takeaway for my sister and my friend. I’ve been working all day and had been very tired (this was late in the evening). And the guy at the till charged me twice for one of the kebabs. He gave me a refund but, only after I told him that the price he charged me for was too high and they kept mumbling to each other in their own language and the whole atmosphere was just weird after. I swear the guy just saw how tired I was and took the opportunity to rip me off. Not to mention Im from abroad so he thought he could pull a fast one on me. I used to work in fast food, served hundreds of people daily and I might have served the wrong order once or twice but, Ive never charged them twice NEVER. Made me not want to have a kebab EVER AGAIN. Id rather go have a fish n chips from an honest english vendor. Thats my honest opinion.

Have been using dawley kebab ye for years and allways had no complaints just collected a mixed kebab tonite and place was a shambles the two staff that was on could hardly speak English was charged 50p for paying by card which I don’t think is allowed. Forgot my pitta bread and my Kofte was still raw in centre. Usually they are very organised but tonite has really put me off going again.

Food was stone cold and the owner couldn’t careless

I hate to moan about places, everyone has to make a living after all, but the food from here has been okay at best for a while now, but a few days ago I ordered from here and the fries were over cooked, the lamb meat was dried up and flakey, I threw the food away in the end, the best thing I can say was the pizza was half way edible. I won’t be using this place again, there are plenty of other kebab places on the street, next time I shall try one of those. I will say it has been 4 or 5 days since I had this take away and have calmed down a bit since, as my review would probably have been removed for bad language.

Had a awful experience with the food here - order arrived cold and items missing. When paying for food the items you order should all be there and edible to boot.

Was really great, got them to do a chicken kebab with a wrap instead of pitta and they were happy to oblige. Tasted great too!

On both visits recently the chips were burnt. I have been using Kebab Ye in Dawley for years but will look elsewhere if the chips aren't improved on my next visit

Order large diner, show online service with chips, but when I want to shop, they told me need orders separately, spend £15 to get meal, only receive few meats, No worth at all

i have never left a good review before but honestly i’ve had a terrible past few days and this takeaway has genuinely made my day. i never eat takeaway chips and always leave them as they just aren’t nice - however these chips are perfection perfect amount of salt so nice that i didn’t even need to go get some sauce for them. the flavours of the pizza are amazing and i don’t like beef burgers but i tried some of my partners and i wish i got one aswell!! so amazing for the price and the food is great. first time having tried this takeaway and very impressed ! will be back !

Lovely food, can’t fault it. Use regularly, we ask for changes and they always come through brilliant place definitely recommend the family feast.

Just ordered 2 meals and both orders were wrong. Guy that served me could barely speak English so no wonder he got it wrong. I would go back to complain but he blatantly wouldn't understand me. Avoid this place

Great service and food, it's now 2022 as and the food is as good now as it is was then. It was very busy when I was there It was good to see that people still love to go here. Pizza / burger and kebab.

Always good. The staff are friendly and it is always a pleasure to visit. The shop is hygenic and the food is always worth the money. You don't go hungry after a kebab from this shop.

I've always had chicken kebabs and chips from you and it wasn't until I tried the same meal from another kebab shop that I realised how supior you are I will be placing an order tonight and I will never go elsewhere again absolutely 10 out of 10

Placed an order for delivery in the same way as I have 100 times before. Received a phone call telling me that the food had been sat waiting for me to collect for ages! I explained that I had no way to collect it and asked if I could pay for delivery. I was told no and that they wouldn’t refund either. Shocking service, I shall never order again from them!

I have several Uber eats kebabs now and the most recent one last night was as usual exceptional moist tasty chicken and super fresh salad and fresh chips the food is second to none if you had that in a Restaurant you would be happy . Exceptional and after a tough time put a smile back on my face .

Food's always amazing and the staff are friendly.

So they take your money then message you 10 mins after order saying we are closed but web site says open now got to wait 3 to 5 days for my money back not a happy customer what a joke

The guys are brilliant and they look after us really well... especially in the covid-19 times and they will bring your food to your car (if you are parked outside the front) so social distancing can be maintained. Cannot fault the food. Never had a bad meal.

Absolute disgrace even went to return food after order was wrong got refused gave us very spicy chilli sauce as sweet chilli got orders wrong even though was a very basic order ( was wearing masks 🙈 on there chin )

Great service the food is constantly good and they did do card but stopped recently around end of 2019. Hopefully they get it back

Came in today September 1 brought 2 £5 pound kebabs and I was extremely impressed first of all customer service was excellent salad was lovely and fresh kebab meat was so juicey it was amazing I'd definitely recommend to others if you check my other reviews out I speak 100% truth absolutely delightful

Kebabs are typical of fast food chains served in Pitta bread. Salad is always fresh and nicely coated with oil. Must be eaten whilst still warm else the fat solidifies. Fries are very basic and dry out in quick time too. A fine place for a kebab when one is hungry, but it's not really a healthy option.

Well i think a certain reviwer may of had a bad experience or something, please dont let this put you off. Ive been using the same kebab ye takeaway now for 12 years as i live in dawley too. Only bad thing was once they packed my burger sideways and i fell apart in the box but thats it. As far as food standards go well perfect really you can see them using seperate knives for seprate meats etc the salad is always being rotated to keep fresh. Good sizes and all round customer relations. Im going to use the same takeaway for as long as they are open

Worst kebab ive ever eaten! Wouldnt go back even if it was free. Large kebab was pathetic in portion and 75% of its weight was grease. Two fork fulls and its gone in the bin. what a waste of money. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
