Fantastic fresh hot food great quality and portions

All the food was cold, so had to microwave it. garlic bread was over cooked. poor quality food. definitely don't recommend it.

delivery was great was actually early, food was ok at best not worth the money I paid

Food Ice cold and dry. Half order was missing including items chosen on item that was received. Restaurant were exceptionally rude - they are sending any "extra" they are too busy, telling me it was basically my bad luck.

Good food and tasty kebabs, I have never had a late delivery from them.

First kebab I have had for nearly 30 years. Not exactly haute cuisine but it made an interesting and enjoyable change. Can’t wait for my next one when I am 88!

Order a mixed grill kebab £15 ,put few bits of chicken and lamb,small kofte.It suppose to XL ,just a rip off,waste of money !No value for your money ! Stay away!

Ordered on just eat Excepted the order then called to say I had to pay more for the order Order was cancelled I ended up having to pay for the order and no food called and I was told I would get refunded and was not Avoid

Also the driver asked for £2 cash for delivery .. Must make alot doing that. Is the take away aware of it...? Large £45 order aswell. Should say it in delivery charge.. extra cash to be given to driver..

Asked for chciken meat and chips with chilli and instead got Garlic mayo and loads of veg disgrace

upon delivery, restaurant argued I needed to pay a further £3 delivery charge. I explained that they need to take the issue up with just eat as I had already paid a delivery charge. whilst arguing with the restaurant, my food went stone cold.

We are on a canal holiday. These guys delivered to us at a nearby postcode and the driver called me 5 minutes before the meeting point. The XL nixed kebab was the best I've had in a loooooong time. Absolutely 100% recommend 👌🏻

The attached images speak for themselves, shocking food that went straight in the bin. We called to complain & my wife was told she was ‘only asking for a refund because she wanted a free meal. Absolute disgraceful food and service.

Food was cold, asked for a very small drizzle of garlic mayo on my kebab, the meat was drowned in it! Asked for sweet chilli sauce on the side but the cheesy chips came with it on top!!

I come here for my lunch. Very nice fried chicken, don't like the fried chicken leg though, never been my favourite. But fried chicken without bone is so 😋 yummy. Very nice chefs too.

They show no quality with my large lamb donner bought for £7.70 not even put inside the pitta just dumped on top. Worst kebab l have ever had. Find a new place for next time definitely.

We have regular takeaways from here and have always found them to be excellent and, I must admit, I am very surprised by so many of the other reviews. We have always gone into the shop and bought fresh so I cannot comment on their delivery service. We always have chicken kebabs and chips and they are always excellent. Top tip, and the same applies to all kebab shops...buy the chicken kebabs on the skewer to get the best quality meat.

Possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had. Was a total rip, much more expensive than much nicer kebab houses. Was half late and gave wrong drink. The portions were a disgrace as well. The "large" kebab was a joke. There's another place in dav called no8 kebab which is cheaper, quicker and tastier. This place should be closed down.

First and last time I tried this food and took home to eat, chicken meat was slightly bigger chunks than what you get with mince meat and didn't taste fresh like chicken, kofte kebab I had..well the dog ate most of it which tells you something and also didn't taste fresh. Curly fries being the simple thing was so salty it was like drinking sea water and the experience being inside was a Turkish woman speaking her mother's tongue was blatantly moaning at the chef as she also worked there, what a waste of £20 better off buying a McDonald's!!!

I feel VERY uncomfortable ordering from here, I don't think I will anymore. The fact that the delivery guy WILLINGLY came into my house instead of using my contact number is BAFFLING. The way that my living arrangement works. To most people would be the equivalent of him showing up to your door, walking to your bedroom and knocking at your bedroom door. It's very weird and I don't like it.

Absolutely disgusting experience trying to order from here this evening. After ordering our food I was called from the restaurant, the signal was awful their end and I could hardly understand. They then stated I had to pay additional money to the driver on delivery which wasn't stated on justeat especially after paying a delivery charge already! whilst trying to resolve the issue the staff then informed me they will not be delivering my food and hung up on me. I called back but they completed refused to listen and told me they won't be delivering my food and hung back up on me. Completely disgusting customer service!

Ordered food at 12:15 (when they shut at 02:00) no food by 01:00 so called back be 10 mins still no food by 01:30 called back be 15mins no food called back at 01:55 no your order won't be delivered by no explanation

Terrible. We ordered at noon via just eat, no contact made and 2 hours later they ring requesting an extra £6 for delivery. Why do this? Shouldn't have accepted the order in the first place - Just eat gives you an option to deny any order that comes through, so this is terrible service. Im sure its also against just eat policy to accept a transaction and then also go outside of the transaction to request more money? Waste of time, just don't accept orders you cant fulfil.

I’ve orders from here off just eat pod the delivery fee then when the driver arrived at my address he ask for extra as I live in a village 2 minuets from Daventry, I then explained that I had no change and he proceeded to talk to me in an angry tone which made me feel on edge, do not order from here the costumer service is awful

I have been to this place a number of times just to test I was judging a book by its poorly presented members of staff. Twice I have been disrespected in this establishment (if that’s what you can call it) because they don’t accept card payment - which might I add is a legal requirement according to COVID regulations and compliance. They are also open last their Regulated times (possibly why they never accept card payment). The food is sub par. And never what you ask for. Prices always differ depending on the server And if you are male at the weekend there is no chance that you can pay by card at anytime. I’m female and have paid by card many a time following complaints that the “establishment” isn’t accepting card.

Asked for 2 large lamb shish and a portion of chips. A small would have been bigger with more salad! Also, it's the first time I have had one where I couldn't eat it due to it being spicy! Was really looking forward to it but ended up in the bin! Also, was waiting outside to be called, instead we were bellowed at by a male staff member. Ordered with Daventry Kebab House through Just Eat and chose a Meal Deal for a gang of us. The delivery driver turned up over half an hour late and then tried to demand an extra £3 delivery (I had paid online). The delivery was also short. The food was mostly cold. Shocking service. What a joke. Got a refund back through Just Eat. Don't bother, go elsewhere for some decent food & service.

Had a simple order of 2 portions of chips, a bottle of coke and a tub of strawberry cheesecake häagen-dazs ice cream. It took so long to deliver that my chips were soaked through by condensation and were inedible and my ice cream had actually melted. Terrible service. Extremely unhappy yet again with my order.

Totally terrible, the phone call was awful, when the food arrived it was dry and inedible, when I phoned to disscus I was verbally told , there was nothing wrong with his food and shut up and go away, my 3 children heard this and were horrified as I was too! I will be taking this further.

I usually like the food from here but this is about their staff, last night we received some food from here the driver didn't care about who he was giving the food to he just handed it over and walked off, I begin to ask around the house and it does not belong to anyone in our address, there was no menu in the bag so I just Google takeaways in Daventry and started ringing through, when it got to here, the guy was so unbelievably rude, shouting at me down the phone as if I had done something wrong, I was trying to explain that we have food that doesn't belong to us, we were trying to get it sorted and the guy kept telling me how he had spoke to me earlier and even gave me the number to the person that it did belong to. It was pretty disgusting to be a innocent bystander trying to do their jobs for them by getting the food to the correct address and honestly, the shouting was terrible I dread to thing if they had customers in their shop what they must of thought. It was disgusting on all levels. If I could rate zero just off that one experience I would.

Food was low quality. Very expensive and bad quality. Bought a portion of wings and they were rock hard, didn't finish them. Paid double if not triple the price as other places.

His can a home delivery order for two large kebabs go wrong? Kebabs arrived, no salad. Called them, it appeared nobody spoke English. Got passed to somebody else who said they would send salad. By the time ig arrived kebab meat cold. I have never been served kebab meat looking like this before. Not strips of meat, scrappy tiny pieces which were hardly cooked. £15 wasted, will NEVER order from here again. Be warned.

Asked for boneless chicken and got boned chicken and over done over all very not happy cost 21 pounds and they would not change so I didn't eat this day

My 'large cheesy chips' were stone cold and had no cheese on, 100% wasn't fresh either they were disgusting and reheated i am sure. The burgers were all messed up with the wrong sauces and salads to what i asked for. Never ordering again from there what a waste of money.

Everything was great. I am so happy that, Daventry has this brilliant kebab shop. Staffs are friendly and also the service they perform is always great every time when I go there. 100 percent recommend this place..

We ordered a chicken kebab and pizza, well the kebab had barely any meat in and what was there was burnt!! Pitta was dry and burnt, the pizza was greasy and just very poor standard of food!!!!! Will NEVER EVER order from them again!!!

First time trying Daventry Kebab House and it is safe to say I wont be using them again. The best part about it was that the delivery driver was very friendly, other than that it was a disappointment. The food was cold, soggy, flavourless and expensive for what you get. If you are thinking of trying them out, I wouldn’t bother just go to your local chippy instead, the food will be better and less expensive.

Phoned up to see if they had fried chicken. The man on the phone couldn’t oh been more helpful. How many pieces do you want cooked. What time would you like to collect it. That’s what I want to hear. Fresh and it was superb along with the coleslaw. Thank you

I feel like 1 star is adequate for the food me and my partner received. Chicken burger was just fat and added cheese which was not on the burger when it arrived. Chips were just so much over cooked. Asked for salad and all I got was a skimpy portion off just onion and lettuce. This was my first and last time we will be ordering here!! Over all a bad experience I would stay away
