Phenomenal views! The food was wonderful and the service was excellent! Bonus, they brought a beautiful cake to celebrate my friend’s birthday!

Food, environment and the view was gorgeous, however if u want sit by the window u have to pay extra £10 per person and the service was same as Wetherspoon🤬😡

Darwin Brasserie at the London Sky Garden is an absolute gem—but be warned, getting a reservation here is no joke. I had to book at least three weeks in advance to snag a spot, because otherwise you’ll end up waiting in a long line outside just to get into the Sky Garden. Once you have a reservation for any of the restaurants, you can skip the line entirely, which is such a relief. During the day, the vibe is super casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with an amazing view. Come evening, though, the atmosphere transforms—you’ll see people all dressed up, and the live music adds a really special touch, especially with the city lights in the background. Honestly, I think you get the best view of London from here. While entry to the Sky Garden itself is free if you book a ticket, I highly recommend making a restaurant reservation. It just elevates the whole experience to enjoy a meal while overlooking the breathtaking cityscape. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a memorable night out in London!

They charged 2 still water on the check, but we only ordered 1 bottle. Beyond that, we were charged with 14 pounds for an aperol but it was written 12 pounds on the drink menu. The waiter defended that 12 pounds was the aperol not the aperol spritz, which is insane because we just asked for an aperol just like it was written on the menu and he bring an aperol spritz to the table which was correct for us until the check comes. The restaurant hostess was extremely unkind by ignoring my wife's presence and she also sounded subtly ironic by asking me "is your first time here?" while staring at me. Nazar was lovely and kind on the service but then, Gigi (or something like that) took his place and he was very weird. He took off the cutterly after we finished the entries but we'll still order and eat the main course. When we ask for the cutterly he said "oh i thought you not gonna order anything else" sounding extremely ironic like we are not supposed to stay there anymore. In the end, the check was wrong, we paid 100 pounds anyway and we felt extremely mistreated like we were not welcome in the restaurant. We did a reservation, we were normally dressed for the ambiance and we could pay for everything but it seemed that just because we were foreigners (Latins) we were not supposed do be there. We never going back there again and we dont recommend for anyone.

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from great. First off, I ordered the avocado toast, which was a single slice for a hefty £18. While I understand that prices can vary, this felt quite overpriced for what was served. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was for a special occasion—my birthday—but this detail was completely ignored when we arrived. It was disappointing to see that no acknowledgment or effort was made to make the occasion feel special in any way. After our main course, we ordered pancakes for dessert, but they were forgotten altogether. When we followed up, we were simply told that the kitchen was closed, which felt unprofessional and left us with a bad taste. The service wasn't much better—our extra drinks only arrived after we specifically asked about them. The lack of attention to detail was frustrating. To top it off, when we were leaving, there were long lines at the elevator, making it an unnecessarily tedious end to the event. Overall, while the food was decent, the lack of attention to special requests and the overall service experience left much to be desired. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Overpriced food was fine in taste, pork chop was tough. Hostess were rude and servers were not attentive. Good view, but restaurant was loud and took over an hour and a half for what should have been a quick lunch.

The food was average and grossly overpriced. We were charged £6 (2x£3) for filtered water we never asked for. The coffee was really bad (and also overpriced, unsurprisingly). Obviously a tourist trap. We won’t be returning.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Darwin Brasserie recently, and it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with stunning views of the city. The service was impeccable - our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Speaking of which, the food was outstanding. I opted for the seasonal menu, and each dish was expertly prepared and presented. One word of caution: be sure to plan your visit accordingly, as the line for security and elevators can be quite long. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation and still had to rush to make it on time. However, the minor wait was well worth it. Overall, I highly recommend the Darwin Brasserie for its outstanding cuisine, excellent service, and stunning views

It's a bit pricey and you need to make a reservation. Although it is a bit pricey, it does not have a quiet atmosphere and is a night view restaurant. I had risotto and steak and the taste was just so-so. I thought I ate the most hamburgers.

Exorbitant prices! The view is certainly beautiful but we pay very dearly for it: €30 for a burger, between €15 and €20 for a glass of wine (the lowest prices). The plants are fake 🥺 The staff was friendly ☺️

The view is absolutely spectacular!! Anyone visiting London should definitely not miss this location!! Booking the window seat for $20 is absolutely worth it - we would do it again. We were served by Alin, who was very attentive and super personable.

Worst Experience Ever! Avoid This Place! I had an absolutely terrible experience at Darwin Brasserie. I was there with my family and, unfortunately, didn’t have my card on me—I only had cash. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the general manager, Giovanni, immediately resorted to threats and intimidation. He spoke to me in an arrogant and condescending manner, saying he would call security and even the police over a simple payment issue. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially towards a paying customer. In the end, my wife used her card to settle the bill, but the damage was done. No one deserves to be treated this way, and I strongly advise against dining here. The manager’s attitude ruined our experience, and I will never return. Avoid this place—your money is better spent elsewhere!

Went there for breakfast, got there five minutes early and were thrown out in an extremely rude manner and greeted again five minutes later in a very unfriendly manner. So if you expect polite staff and professional work at these prices, you're in the wrong place. Food is ok, but not particularly good, borderline for what you pay. The majority of the staff is absolutely unfriendly!

Very average food for what you pay. Charged 1.5 lira per person for tap water, and 16.5 lira for 2 merenda pancakes which were minimal and spread out on the plate....

A scam that could almost have ruined our trip to London. Already, an absolutely not panoramic view. We are 15m from the windows, we saw a train station and not “interesting” buildings, the garden was closed. Then, little choice on the menu, everything is overpriced, the products are not fresh (especially the white beans), the avocado cream was horrible... There was not 5€ put on the plate yet they came to charge us 20. And finally the waiter who is much too familiar, who does not explain a single thing to us and who is very insistent that we order. The icing on the cake was the bill: we were charged €3 for tap water and 13.5% taxes on the whole thing. So know that you will not experience anything by coming to this “restaurant”, neither through the view, nor through the dishes. It’s 100% what it looks like and it must be said that they are very good. The waiter asked us to leave a review, I hope he is satisfied.

I was taken here for a first date—10/10 for the initiative! It’s definitely a great date spot. The food was good, but not amazing. However, the location more than makes up for it.

Went with a wheelchair user who can walk a few steps with crutches. The palace is easily accessible with slides and stair lifts. The checks were quick and respectful but we went before rush hour. Arrived at the brasserie for breakfast and left the chair next to the maître de salle and sat down. The accessible bathroom seems to be perfect as well. Otherwise delicious food, nice choice and incredible environment. A wonderful experience even if a little painful for the money ;)

Very good breakfast with a view of the city. The food was good and the service (Talmo) was super attentive and nice. We were completely satisfied. A good way to visit the SkyGarden if you can't get regular tickets. You can get into the Garden in advance without queuing or waiting.

Our server Ashwin made our experience even better, he was fast and most importantly very sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. We got here 45 mins early to our reservation time but they were so kind to seat us early. I ordered the Darwin burger and my husband order the chicken dish with the chorizo we both loved our food. She’s knowledgeable, has tried many of the dishes, and helpful with any needs that arise to ensure you can enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, all of her efforts were not enough to save poorly prepared, uninspired, poorly seasoned, entrees. What was good: the bread to begin; the sweet potato fries, the walnut burger What was surprising: they do NOT do the beef burgers at your desired temperature. That is, all burgers are prepared at well done. Excuse me, are you civilized or are we playing catch up. Additionally with the sea bream I’ve never had anyone dump simply washed but unseasoned or unaltered chickpeas as part of a 30quid meal. Chef do better take pride. What was bad: the risotto & the beef burger. Both the risotto and the burger dishes had poor seasoning, poor flavor, cluttered palette notes, made worse by poorly sautéed vegan sausage and soggy bun bread, respectively. I can not in good conscience recommend any tourist or local come to this establishment FOR DINNER. Lovely views but that does not make up for the fatal errors of this place which could of killed me. We booked for lunch and notified them ahead of time of my allergies to eggs, dairy and all nuts. We waited 20 minutes before a waiter even acknowledged us and took our order, I mentioned again about my allergies and the waiter was absolutely no help whatsoever and insisted I cannot have anything on the menu when there was clearly vegan food available which seemed to be the only food I could've eaten. At the last minute the waiter said the vegan sausages are fried in nut oil and I am allowed it disregarding everything I said before. In this day and age where there's many people with allergies it's beyond me why you would fry in peanut oil. I am severely allergic and will go in anaphylactic shock. I think it should be mentioned on the menu if it is fried in peanut oil. Also the waiter could not speak a word of English so I'm not surprised he offered me sausages cooked in peanuts. Failing all of this I settled for £15 fruit bowl which was awful. Would not be returning here.

Ah… the Darwin brewery… A beautiful, large space where it’s not a good place to have lunch. For the quality of any station brasserie, but with significantly higher prices, you treat yourself to a panoramic lunch above London, between a few plants that barely deserve the name **Sky Garden**! It’s not the atmosphere of enchanting forests, but rather that of an ordinary public garden, without the animal droppings, that’s the best part! It’s expensive for what it isn’t! The service, however, is impeccable. Tell yourself that for the price of the brasserie, you will treat yourself to entry to **Sky Garden**, which is free... but you still need to be lucky enough to be able to book a few weeks in advance. With a reservation at the brasserie, you go ahead of everyone. **WARNING:** you are searched more at **Sky Garden** than at the airport, thanks to a guard who doesn't let **anything** through! Enjoy your visit!

Our family group loved our visit to Darwin Brasserie. Not only was the food delicious, and the service warm & friendly, but our booking also gave us access to Sky Gardens without the long queues. It was the perfect way to end our stay in central London.

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Darwin Brasserie on Valentine's Day. I can confidently say that the food was completely inedible due to excessive salt. I couldn’t even take more than a single bite—it was that bad. To make matters worse, the server assured me I would receive a thorough explanation via email along with a refund. Neither has happened. This level of neglect and disregard for customers is unacceptable. The issue wasn’t the menu—it was the execution. Serving food that is so salty it can’t be eaten is a complete failure on the kitchen’s part. I expected better, but clearly, quality and customer service are not priorities here. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Went here for Valentine’s Day. Nice food and restaurant with friendly staff. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Perhaps the most disappointing element was the price. Rather expensive-centre of London I know! But for the price we paid, I was expecting the food to be other worldly but it wasn’t

NOT SUITABLE FOR A WORK MEETING Had a table booked for 1pm, in an attempt to be 30mins early, I arrived bang on time, with the people I was meeting being 30mins late as a result of delays getting up to the sky garden and up from there to the brasserie. Food was fine, service was fine, bill was toppy, as expected for a lunch with a view* in town. However, in order to leave, there was a 40min queue for the lifts. I explained to the man managing the queues that I had another meeting to make, and a train to catch, and he told me that everyone did, and to join the back of a queue. It being the best part of an hour to leave lunch and exit the building was simply not an option, so I asked for directions to the fire escape, I’d take the stairs 35 flights down and be out sooner. This was apparently absolutely not an option, and the lift handler invited me in to the next lift, whilst mocking me in front of the other people who joined that lift. If you’ve got half a day spare, you’re not hungry, and your prepared to tussle for views, this place is, as best, fine.

Wretched!!!!! Terrible manager! We made a reservation. We had to order a main course. The manager says this after ordering coffee. Disgusting place never go! The waiter was very polite but their manager was not helpful at all. He said, "You either place an order or pay a penalty." They asked for a penalty fee of 75 pounds, so we had to order it. Disgrace, never go!!!! Never even enter. By ordering dessert coffee, we would have paid the same price as the main course. It's a disgraceful place, they are racist.

I had a bad experience with my bill where they charged me 13.5% as service fees without asking my permission. I told them to take it off my bill. Be aware if you visit them!

What a fantastic restaurant! Not only because of the panorama, but certainly because of the high standard of the dishes, the wine and the great hospitality! Karina understands the art of making the difference between good food and enjoying your stay! For example, by also clearing the table when you take out the main course. That makes my gastronomic heart beat faster! Definitely worth it! But booking in time is really necessary. It falls outside the category of an average restaurant, but it is definitely worth it!

Wow. The breakfast here is very good. We tried the Vegan English breakfast and it was delicious. If you are at Sky Garden then it is a must do while you are here. A great place to sink in the view of London while stuffing yourself with some delicious food. I would recommend to come early for breakfast. The place open around 9 am and gets packed quite.

Came here for breakfast! Overall a great place to catch up in the morning with friends or on a cute date. We had mimosas and bottomless filtered coffee - both perfect. Muffins to share - we expected mini muffins but go 3 regular muffins which was difficult to share. The lemon muffin was the best 😍. We ordered avocado toast, omelette, pancakes and eggs Florentine. Honestly all turned out amazing just a little salty or sweet respectively. All our servers were warm, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place. We opted for breakfast as there were more vegetarian options. Their lunch menu holds more NV options. As this place is located at Sky Gardens, you'll have to make reservations. Great views.

Went here for Valentine’s Day, they didn’t announce that they have only specific menu with only 3 types of plates, you had nothing else to chose. Even though we wanted to leave, they told us that we still have to pay 135£ per person but we didn’t order anything. As we still had to pay we ordered food with was awful. The staff then was joking about this, because we didn’t like the food as it was not fresh he started saying if he should give it to us take away. The cakes came with flies inside. When I asked for another cake they came back with the same one. They gave us champagne at the entrance that we didn’t ask for and charged us £50 for it. Awful experience. For a starter, meal and cake, they charged us 300£ just because they didn’t have a normal menu.

We booked a window table which was extra but worth it. The views of course set this place apart. We went at night and it was awesome. Staff were very friendly. Food very decent. Great stuff - thank you.

Went there for Valentines 270 pounds wasted Don’t get fooled by the good reviews. The lighting looked like a cheap cafe, service was slow and waiters were literally talking to each other instead of doing customer service. The food on Val. Menu is a whole another story- the starters were disgusting, the butter is too salty. Mains were okay, but definitely not worth the hype.

Took my partner here for her birthday we went for breakfast she had Buttermilk pancake stack and I had The English which was delicious. What can I say the atmosphere and view was absolutely amazing the service was great and to top it off it was a sunny morning so overall very satisfied experience at the Darwin Brasserie.

Without a doubt, a wonderful place, it was my husband's birthday and I booked a table with a view, it is very worth it, the exquisite attention, and the unbeatable views, our waiter was Telmo who spontaneously gave a birthday surprise to my husband and we were delighted, it is better to have breakfast here than anywhere else in London since the value for money is wonderful, you can order unlimited coffee service which was delicious, the waiters put it on their ID. language they speak so you can have the option in Spanish :) Thank you very much you made our visit to London unforgettable :)

Pretty lousy experience for an anniversary dinner if I'm being honest. Frist off, the tables are crammed together (reservation photos are misleading). I had a window table and was literally bumping elbows with a guy at an adjacent table, hearing all their conversations. Not the intimate setting I was expecting. Additionally, the service was terrible as everything took a long time (on a Monday night). Drinks/table water took 15 min, lemon for the water took another 25 min, waited 10 min for desert silverware that never came (ended up using our hands), and my bill took 20 minutes after asking. Only positive was the food was good. I'm not going back and I recommend you find another restaurant for a special occasion!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Darwin Brasserie in Sky Garden, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The stunning panoramic views of London set the perfect backdrop for a special evening, but what truly made the night exceptional was the outstanding service provided by our server, Halim. Halim went above and beyond to make this birthday feel truly special. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure that every detail was perfect. He made us feel valued and well taken care of. His warm and professional approach added a personal touch to the entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Overall, Darwin Brasserie exceeded all expectations, and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for a special occasion. If you're looking for breathtaking views, delicious food, and impeccable service, this is the place to be. A huge thank you to Halim and the entire team for making our evening so memorable! Spectacular views over the whole of London, in the foreground the Thames with Tower Bridge, London Bridge and Tower. Very nice, garden-like atmosphere. Good food, even for vegetarians. Very friendly and helpful staff. We booked the sunset time - a fantastic experience!

After two years, we returned to Darwin for breakfast, eager to relive the great experiences we once had at this restaurant. Having visited multiple times in the past, we expected the same quality and warmth—but unfortunately, this visit fell short. The food quality has noticeably declined. The avocado toast was disappointing; the avocado was spilling out from the center, suggesting the bread wasn’t toasted properly. As for the lattes, they tasted more like warm milk, and when we raised concerns, we were met with a vague explanation about a “different style of preparation.” Service was another letdown. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, making us feel more like an afterthought than valued customers. With the food, coffee, and service failing to meet expectations, the experience simply wasn’t worth the price. Sadly, what was once a favorite spot has lost its charm.

Ordinary breakfast - ham and eggs, and a full english breakfast. Not sure I would come again, but if I want to show someone around London and bring them to a place with a view, booking a window seat at this restaurant is definitely the move. They also provided a free birthday brownie, which made my guest’s day. What really made a reservation here amazing was that we were able to enter sky garden and then walk around after our meal! Lovely environment.

Excellent dining experience at the top of the Sky Garden, the service and atmosphere was perfect. Prices are a bit high.

Came here with my partner yesterday, I received my food first and after waiting 10 mins I asked where my partners food was and the waitress came back saying it hadn’t been put through so they had to start over again, so 25 mins after I received mine we could start eating together. Food was not good either, really overpriced and the brunch option isn’t very “brunch” like. Fell for the tourist trap.

Beautiful place, beautiful service. The food was very tasty and nicely served, the waiter Papa was very kind, approachable and really all the praise. The only thing that could have been a little nicer that day was the weather, it was quite foggy so the view of the city could not be seen, but all in all great. A very nice surprise at the end was a plate congratulating us on our anniversary.

We had the pleasure of having breakfast at Darwin Brasserie after booking about a month in advance. The view is absolutely stunning, even though we visited on a foggy day. A great bonus is that access to the Sky Garden is included, making the experience even more special. The food was excellent—we got to try both sweet and savory dishes, and everything was delicious. I had mentioned in the booking that it was my mom’s birthday, and they surprised her with a mini brownie and a candle, which was a lovely touch! Prices are in line with London standards, but the atmosphere and experience make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

When I made the reservation, I didn't add 10 pounds to the designated window seat, but I still happened to sit by the window. I was very lucky. The food was delicious and the portion was sufficient. I even got a refill of coffee! The two of us ordered an egg benedict, a muffin, a cup of tea and a cup of coffee (coffee will pay for a small pot of milk). The total is about 45 pounds. The waiter is very friendly and the dining environment is very comfortable!

We had a delightful breakfast at this restaurant with stunning views of the Thames River. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and the breakfast was delicious. While it was a bit pricey, the overall experience was worth it. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable breakfast with a view.

We paid £10 for a window seat, which gave brilliant views while we had breakfast. Good food and attentive service. It's not cheap, but that misses the point, as you go for the view and ambience. A classy spot and somewhere to treat yourself.

Service and atmosphere were AMAZING! Our waiter Ali gave us 5+ service. It was such a delightful and such personable experience with an exceptional view! The food could have been a little better. The Eggs Benedict were hard inside which we returned. The new set were much better but not runny as they should be. I would still go back as mentioned as the service was amazing and of course the location second to none. (But would avoid the eggs Benedict :P)
