We had an incredible lunch here. The staff were so attentive and gave excellent recommendations (I loved chatting wine). The food was delicious. Just a lovely, lovely experience and we can’t wait to go back.

Steaks average, 20 pounds for 6 pumpkin tavioli is borderline. Service okay, ambience pleasant, background music a bit annoying.

Unusual cuisine - tasty, regional wines, quiet ambience, neighbourhood looks safe and quiet and accessible from Paddington underground. Cheerful staff.

I found this little gem totally by chance earlier in the week and am so happy I did. The empanada was like none of the ones I had tasted before (in a good way!). The steak was incredible and came with fabulous chips and great bernaise. Together with a very smooth Pinot Noir dinner was perfect. Service and surroundings were charming and delightful. Highly recommended

The place was cosy…Alejandra was welcoming. Price was affordable and food was tasty. They have a lunch set menu which was very affordable. We had empanada in ham and cheese and chicken which was tasty. 17 oz Ribeye is good for sharing and was cooked to our liking. Seabas in escabeche sauce was very tasty. Overall we had a lovely experience and will definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing perfectly cooked steaks! The ambience in this classically styled restaurant is perfect, highly recommended. Very attentive and friendly staff who really provide proper advice on the best options for your meal. Give them a try...you'll go back, I will be, for sure!

We had a lovely dinner during our stay in London! The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was very good (homemade empanadas were delicious) and the atmosphere was intimate. We will return during our next visit!

We had a team dinner in a dedicated room! One big table with 12 people! The meat is good quality and the taste is delicious. However, as a person living in France, the medium-well meat is different than the one in London.

This is one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Service was excellent. We didn’t know the wines of South America but tasted a few before we decided. Menu is great. We weren’t that hungry and chose the smallest and cheapest steak. It tasted well but they could have been more tender. Fries were the best. Burger was rated 75% by our 13 year old expert due to a lack of sauce in the burger. To me it looked amazing. Dessert was awesome. Highly recommended

Having recently returned from a visit yo Argentina, I was craving some good empanadas and a great steak I was not disappointed ! Great service, lovely wine recommendations with tastings to help. Steak is perfectly cooked, with a delicious garlic and parsley butter. Lovely owners came out for a chat, already planning a return visit with some Argentine friends

We love this neighbourhood restaurant and come here often. I’m pescetarian and the Seabass with escabeche is delicious, my husband eats everything and goes for one of the steaks. It’s a small menu but everything is very well cooked and the flavours well balanced. The chef really knows what s/he is doing. This evening I had grilled octopus with broccoli as a starter and it was very flavoursome. The triple cooked chips with garlic and parsley are utterly addictive! It has some very nice wines and cocktails and is great value for London too. Nice ambience for couples or friends and staff are friendly without being intrusive. We will be back!

Went as part of an Amex experience restaurant hopping tour within the london restaurant festival. Service was excellent. Restaurant decor and vibe was great. Food was delicious. We had premium Argentine steak with grilled vegetables. Owner was amazing and a delight to chat with.

Every dish we had was amazing, especially the empanadas and ribeye steak. You can tell it is made from scratch in their kitchen. Food was good value for money. Service was a bit slow, despite the restaurant being fairly quiet.

Best steak we’ve had in forever, and we come from Belgium where steak frites is highly regarded. We had the creamy spinach as a side which was simply amazing, as well were the empanadas we had for starters. The cosy interior and classical musical playing softly in the background make for a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend a visit here when you are staying in London! Even if steak isn’t really your thing, this will be!

There are a couple of things we look for in a good restaurant. Food quality, ambiance & vibe (which was relaxed and conjusive to conversation), service, table aesthetics. In all of the above, both my husband and I, thought this little restaurant excelled. We would not hesitate to return. We highly recommend it.

This restaurant is our memorable place with my boyfriend. They let us in during Covid-19 and we bought a huge bottle of Malbec. Since then, we come here time to time to enjoy excellent service and delicious Argentinian food and drinks they have.

Fantastically good food, and very good service

Just delicious, if you have a small budget I recommend the empanada board with 4 different types. Otherwise the dishes are priced between 25 and 75 pounds. Perfect service, tasty dish! THANKS

My partner and I ate at Casa Malevo last night. It was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, but this suited us well and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent (we had one of the meat sharing platters and this was just right after some lovely bread and empanadas to start) and we drank some very good wine. It's not cheap, but we felt like we'd had good value and will definitely return.

The food was good, but I have had steak just as good for a lot less money. Among other things, I tried sweet breads, which were praised and recommended by the waitress. I dont deny they were nicely cooked but I thought they were outright disgusting. Please read about them on the internet before ordering, probably are an aquired taste.

A very satisfying experience, friendly and helpfull staff, good variety of food and wine. My choice was Bife de Chorizo, one of the best steaks I have ever had. I will return for sure.

Our most pleasant and delicious meal in London. Alexandra was an amazing and pleasant waitress. The starters and mains were scrumptious. Had the filet and the fish entre along with their house focaccia bread and buratta with tomatoes, pancake with dulce de leche and chocolate mousse. Also ordered a bottle of Pino Gris. I believe everything on the menu would have been exquisite.

The Connaught Street area feels very exclusive and a little intimidating. Great steaks and excellent wines can be found at Casa Malevo. The parilla cooking is excellent and the empanadas light and delicious. Excellent non-meat choices too.

Just experienced a ‘Deja vu’ evening at Casa Malevo. Before retirement I often ate there. The steaks are still the best and the staff are very friendly. Empanadas to ‘die for’. Still our ‘go to’ restaurant whenever we in London.

We went into the private dining room and it was amazing. The food is incredible and the service was excellent right from the booking experience. I highly recommend booing these for big groups (around 10-12 people).

I have been a regular guest over the past 5 years and I keep coming back for the excellent meat, great wine choices and the relaxed and elegant ambience. As a huge fan of the Argentinian cuisine and wine, with extensive travel and tasting experience across Argentina, I feel privileged to have such a great option in my neighbourhood, without doubt among the top choices in its category in London. Tonight was another spotless experience topped off by attentive service and the regular warm welcome.

The food was nice, but pricy (120.- for 2 without dessert). the girl that served us rushed us a little bit and wasn’t very helpful when we asked for advice et cetera. The atmosphere and location however were nice. But we would recommend to look for other nice locations where the crew is more friendly, while that is what the experience makes nice in the end :)

Had a meal here and I absolutely loved the Argentinian steak. It was flavourful, juicy and delicious. The chef cooked it to the exact correct doneness. The service was excellent. All in, a really excellent dinner experience.

Had the beef de lomo…. To die for!!! Cooked medium to perfection. Taste and texture of the meat was amazing, the sauce it came with I barely touched. I was recommend a Malbec with the meat which was a great choice as well! Overall an amazing experience! Gracias!

Authentic Argentinean steak restaurant , charming staff and atmosphere. We were looking for a ‘local’ restaurant and found this oasis in the midst of transient, touristic Hyde Park, Paddington area. Excellent steaks and cocktails. Comfortable, well lite but cozy.

Wow, this restaurant checks all of the boxes....great service and advice (thanks Alexandra), great food, fantastic vibe. After spending two weeks in Spain and visiting a few Michelin restaurants there....we spent one evening in London before returning to the USA. We couldn't have picked a better restaurant for our one night in London. Best dinner on our whole trip! Thank you for the great food and wine recommendations.

Telefono alle 21 e mi mettono un po’ di fretta, dicendo che avrebbero chiuso alle 21:30 (cosa strana per un ristorante argentino, ma paese che vai…). In realtà arrivati lì l’attesa per ordinare e per avere i piatti è stata di 40 minuti, quindi tutta questa fretta era un po’ ingiustificata. Da sottolineare però che il locale era pieno. Spazio raccolto, dispone di tavoli sia esterni che interni. Avrebbero voluto sistemarci in un tavolino “vista bagno”, ma con un minimo di insistenza ci hanno spostato. Ho ordinato 2 empanadas come antipasto (notevolissime e sicuramente home made) e lui i ravioli di zucca. Sono sempre molto scettica sul cibo “italiano” all’estero, ma devo ammettere che erano buoni, anche questi fatti in casa (o comunque artigianali). Di secondo abbiamo condiviso una parrilla, ottima per varietà, cottura e qualità (il manzo, di 2 tipi, si scioglieva in bocca). Personalmente ho apprezzato molto la scelta di proporre anche tagli “poveri” ed insoliti, come le animelle, da urlo, e il sanguinaccio. Ci siamo attenuti alla birra e comunque la spesa è stata discretamente importante (almeno 50-60 pounds a testa per un pasto abbondante, destinati a lievitare se si ordina il vino, che a mio parere ha dei ricarichi ingiustificati, per la qualità proposta. Ma penso sia un problema diffuso in tutta Londra, o quasi). Amaro gentilmente offerto. Se ci si vuole togliere la voglia di una carne memorabile, assolutamente consigliato

If you like steak and good service, this is definitely a place to try - you'll be hooked. Tried it on a recommendation. Espresso Martinis - top class. Beers - good selection. Steak - fabulous. Chips - we needed extra, so good.
