Beware - huge rip off on prices; they charged us a lot more than the advertised price. The barista was unable to offer a refund and there were no managers available. Is this even legal?

Spend a lot of time round Holborn / Chancery Lane but only just noticed this place which apparently has been open for 4 months. Holborn / Chancery Lane is surprisingly thin on the ground for independent coffee so this is a welcome addition and I'll be coming back. The coffee was good, and staff so friendly and up for a genuine conversation, to the extent that I have gone to the effort of not only writing this review, but actually setting up a Tripadvisor page for the place to be able to do it. They had a selection of breakfast snacks (pastries and the like) but I didn't try any and a wide range of coffee to buy whole bean, but the Flat White I had was very good, and price was average for this kind of place. 10 min walk from Holborn Station, 30 secs from Chancery Lane station; you should try it out.

Had lunch here with my bro' today, there is a good menu of up market pub food to choose from, I had a wrap and my Brother had a burger, all seemed fresh food, freshly made for us. Nice staff good service etc, good place!

Lovely and tasty food.. very good portions and amazing atmosphere. I would recommend everyone to come here, the restaurant inside is beautiful. And most importantly the customer service is outstanding! I will be definitely returning.

I not been here in many years but it still remains one of the better Chinese restaurants around. However, while there is no issue with quality if the food (although slightly bland) or service there was a lack of atmosphere ( on the evening). But it did strike me as a little expensive at £100 ( inc 3 x glasses of wine) for what I had. Of the three restaurants visited over my weekend in London this one left me feeling a little under whelmed : just lacked a ‘wow’ factor- which I think, even at this day / age you still need yo justify £100 for a (Chinese) meal
