Had lunch here with my bro' today, there is a good menu of up market pub food to choose from, I had a wrap and my Brother had a burger, all seemed fresh food, freshly made for us. Nice staff good service etc, good place!

An ideal place to go after work for a drink and to socialise with people. A nice atmosphere there, though the music is quite loud at times. The food is very good and rather inexpensive. The drinks are fairly priced too. The pub isn't open on Sundays, but is open until late during the week and on Saturdays. The platters are there as ideal snacks with your drinks, or, on their own. Free wifi is offered, if you feel lonely and don't want to talk

I've been to Pitchers and Piano before in Tunbridge Wells and usually thought of them as good places for boozing not that I drink of course. My mother and I ate here after our poor experience with the Old Dutch Pancake House. We ordered a Becks non alcoholic drink for mum, a hot chocolate for me with full fat milk, they ran out of skimmed and semi skimmed and I had a dessert of 3 scoops of ice cream for 3.95 expensive considering Mcdonald's are so cheap and my mother the Pea fried and yoghurt sauce. It was a lively atmosphere and we were served quicklyThe soup wasn't to my liking being tomato so I didn't bother to eat but I would eat here again Still a lot for ice cream though and the hot chocolate was small for the cost of 2.60. Talk about tight fisted.Nice venue though don't think it's been there long looks like an old church or music hall with lovely ceiling features.

Went for Christmas meal outing with colleagues - we all left en masse after an hour and a half when there was no sign of the food. It didn't seem particularly busy, and we were only told there was a 40 minute wait when we complained to a waiter after half an hour.

This is a favourite haunt for both lunch and after-work drinks. The munch for less menu is one of the best value deals around at £6 for a meal & drink. There are 8 dishes to choose from though only 1 or 2 veggie options. The food & drink are good & the staff friendly. The only problem is there are always lots of people there so it often takes a little while to be served which can make getting back to work within an hour a little tricky. In the evenings, there's a happy hour with 2 for 1 cocktails. It's easy to reserve an area for e.g. leaving or birthday drinks. There's nice, comfortable seating upstairs as well as on the ground floor. Prices are reasonable and there's a good variety of drinks available.

Had lunch in the pub on Wednesday. It wasn't a great choice. Initial staff didn't care at all and my colleagues and I had to do all the work. After initially getting served the food takes ages to arrive. We wished it hadn't. Probably some of the worst food I can remember paying for. How can you get mushrooms, scampi or even bread wrong?? Really avoid eating here even after a few drinks.

Their almond croissants are that hard I almost lost my teeth. Clearly hadn’t been checked by staff before selling, you practically have to take a mortgage out to pay for Gail’s pastries anyway, so this isn’t good enough.

I have been coming to wind down at work for some time, and Nero's is my favourite of the coffee chains. At times, some of the staff have been a bit curt, bit it is busy. Recently bought a cortado - usually served in next cup up from the expresso cup. This came in an expresso cup with the explanation of "That's how we sell them." This was done when I had a couple of minutes to spare and there was a fair queue. I couldn't complain without inconveniencing me and other customers. Whilst the staff member in question may get a bit of a laugh here and save .0000000021p, they won't be getting my custom again. I would advise others to relax elsewhere in the Holborn area.

I love getting my coffee from this place when the Origin Coffee is overcrowded. It is quite good for some caffeine grab.

They do a high volume of business due to the many travelers, so it is somewhat chaotic. But the food is consistently good.

Incredibly rude bar man in the basement last night ruined our evening. He told someone off for putting a straw in her drink too soon, he was judgemental of our drinks order, and I saw him telling people off for going the wrong direction when looking for the toilets. He was also incredibly impatient with people as he was walking through the crowd. Honestly the worst guy ever.
