On 19 September at 11am, we were very offended by the racist attitude of the bearded staff member who served us on the leftmost side facing the counter. He first greeted us with ni hao and told us that we were not Chinese, but after repeatedly taunting us with ni hao, xie xie, and other Chinese terms, he continued to be racist to us despite the protests of the staff next to him. I felt bad and tried to quickly leave with my shopping bag containing food, but he rudely blocked my hand, and said "napkin" acted in an unknown manner. His racist behaviour made our trip very unpleasant. We will never use this cafe again, nor will we recommend it to our friends. If the head office would put some effort into managing their employees, You could be a beloved brand.

Extremely stressful experience. They take your money and then it's a free-for-all. Some people go to the back of the pick-up line and wait patiently for their turn while others cut in front and take the next available drink without even waiting a minute. Nobody knows what line to stand in because the pickup "line" looks like any other ordering queue.

I have a subscription with Prêt à Manger, which I am very happy with. But I have to point out a problem: on August 31 at 7pm the store is open but they refuse to serve coffee, I can however buy sandwiches.. and I see behind that a person is cleaning the coffee machines, all that to finish a little earlier. What a shame for the manager of this store! Very disappointed

Tiny shop with 2 queues to pay and no space to peruse the food fridges (especially with a small wheelie bag in tow). Good Pret breakfast offerings (which were much more interesting than the one other food outlet this side of security). Staff were stressed and service mediocre. The “queue” to collect coffees was a disaster. Staff calling out the drink type but no way of knowing if it yours. Couldn’t find the stand with cutlery etc- it was removed from the store. There are no allocated tables. The whole process took 15mins!

I took a wrap in the vegan section "chipotle & houmous" and after paying for it and having my first bite : "oh there is chicken and milk in it". I spat it out of course, and couldn't eat it. Putting some non vegan food in the vegan section is just wrong. It's just not acceptable. I lost money and gave it to a animal based food which I despise with all my heart just because it was misplaced. Please be careful with that, it's too important. I had animal flesh in my mouth for the first time in 6 years. You owe me a vegan sandwich.

Why hasn't the Pret HQ stepped in to take over this franchise? The reviews are shocking, because the store is not managed according to the rules. Tonight, an hour before they closed they said no hot drinks because the machine was 'broken'. Problem is, they have 4 machines! So wait, all 4 broke at the exact same time 😅

The manager is very rude to the customers. We have been waiting in the queue for 20mins and then the till was broken. The manager refused to filter us into other queues, simply asked everyone to go to other queue and start again - not the right way to handle situations like this.

The guy who served me was really nice, fast and friendly, he made a small mistake when taking my order, which wasn't a big deal, but his manager, the lady making the coffees, shouted at him in front of everyone, made me feel bad for pointing out the mistake, and bad for the people that have to work in that environment. The lady giving the coffees away looked miserable and clearly didn't want to be there.

this pret is in a convenient location but that is it’s only redeeming factor. the food is SHOCKINGLY overpriced and I am left feeling like a peasant. Adding to the feeling of peasant was the extremely stale baguette, which left me upset and with a tense jaw. I sampled the lasagne soup and this was perhaps worse than school dinners, despite costing over £5. If i had received this as part of free school meals I’d have been upset, let alone after spending my hard earned wages. honestly avoid all food in london at this point. BROKEN BRITAIN!!!

I’ve been three times, I get the last train to Paris. I have arrived at 6:45 and at 7:15 and both times they have told me that they are not serving hot drinks. I was told they stop serving because they clean the coffee machine early. It’s unfair on customers who, like me, pay for a subscription. And then have to buy coffee elsewhere because staff don’t want to serve. They have on loud music can’t hear the server. Awful experience.

An OK place to sit while waiting the train and enjoy a coffee. Has more tables and more space than the adjacent food/coffee places of the station. Shame it does not offer also some varieties of cold coffee, or milkshakes. I was willing to collect my leftovers /trash from my table before leaving, but I did not found a trash bin around, so I left them behind like also other clients did.

While waiting for my train to Paris, I visited this shop store in the waiting area and bought the item shown in the picture along with some Pastel de nata. The former really didn't suit my taste; I found it quite unpalatable. However, their Pastel de nata were delicious. Initially, I bought two and they were so good that I ended up buying another. I recommend sticking to their Pastel de nata. Before waiting for the train to Paris, I saw this convenience store in the waiting area, so I went to buy the thing in the picture and the Portuguese egg tart. This thing is really not to my liking and I find it very unpleasant to eat. . But its Portuguese-style egg tarts are very delicious. I originally bought two and bought one more. I suggested that I just buy their Portuguese-style egg tarts.

When you queue up in the lane marked ‘Q’ get to the front and are told this lane is for collections only, you query with the server and the reply is ‘that’s not my problem is it, it’s your problem’! This lady needs some customer service training. Complete chaos, sign not working, trolly/cage full of drinks dumped outside, no atmosphere, should have gone to the other coffee shop! I flagged to the manager who apologised, but at the end of the day staff are customer facing and should treat customers with respect, looking at other reviews this is not an isolated instance. On a positive note the porridge and coffee were very nice.

I had the worst experience customer service was horrible. I had waited in the Que for super long and there were multiple elderly and chilrderen behind me. The person serving decided to leave the till and do other things. I was at the St Pancras station 2023 I was getting coffee at the Pret and one of the middle age woman served me who was very rude, disrespectful. I ordered my coffee , as I was handing the cash to her she “literally SNATCHED the cash off me” I was still quite then when she gave me my change back she threw it in my hand like I am a beggar. When I asked her is this how she is going to treat a customer, she answered me back rather than being apologetic. This is outrageous to how a customer is being treated and if the shop is busy it’s not my fault for me to get treated that way. I Pay for my drink not be disrespected this way. I hope you take action against this strickly. As being a loyal customer to PRET , I am honestly very disappointed. Very poor customer service indeed . Never getting coffee from this branch again.

Seriously sort out your coffee experience for customers. Chaos, Carnage, Queue jumping are the immediate words that spring to mind. There must have been a constant herd of 30 people in a scrum, scrapping over the coffees being shouted at customers from a couple of very stressed barista’s. I’ve no doubt people were just taking whatever coffee was called out. Clever customers were ordering decaf coconut latte’s to standout. Surely giving each customer a number is a simple Solution.

When is a flat white not a flat white. When you get it from here. Worst coffee I had from a pret ever. Loads of foam, far too hot and the cup was all sticky. Plus I was told to wait on the right so someone else who ordered after me claimed my drink because they were on the otherside. Luckily they have free tap water to cool my drink down with.

The worst Pret in London is the one inside the Eurostar terminal - avoid at all costs. It’s worse than going through Eurostar security. The queues are long and slow. Once you get your coffee you have to navigate your way across the store crammed with people and their stroller cases all the way to the other side to the ‘collection point’ here they arbitrarily shout out names of coffee. You can pick up anything you like and leave.

Very busy open branch in the middle of the station near the Eurostar terminal. Not a bad selection. There is seating too. My issues are service and cleanliness. Service was awful despite how many staff there were. They were chatting amongst themselves and even when I was served, no attention was given. The seating area as per all Pret branches is filthy beyond words. It does make me think if the employees live like this at home? Please clean. My Scandi Style Salmon Rye Roll was so nice. Delicious. Pity service and cleanliness let them down. Would have been a 5 otherwise!

There's a good selection of food and drink here, similar to any other Pret. But the queuing and collection system is fairly chaotic. After ordering you have to push your way to the collection area which is jammed with other customers with their bags and backpacks. If you don't get there fast enough another customer will grab your drink and you have to wait for them to make another.

I understand that the prices went up due to inflation and so on ....but I'd assume the increase was to keep up with quality / standards. But I've noticing that prices are up at Pret but standards are down. Club sandwiches with tiny bits of chicken almost invisible and disguised within the mayo .....croissants that are mini croissants, .... Today i went to grab a cappuccino, when I opened it , the cup only had half cup of coffee with foam would reach 3/4 of the cup! For £3.25, and only 1 size to choose from at least fill the cup as it's misleading. There is another review in here talking about the amount of money taken from the Gov during the pandemic and the 4m taken by the Chief Executive while staff was furloughed. Completely disgraceful and disappointing as I used to like Pret but I'm starting to detest it as greed it's once more taking over ! The human being would not stop to amaze me with their shady , unethical and corrupt behaviour .

Horrendous pre-Eurostar experience, would really recommend getting something before you go through to departures. The store layout or operations isn’t designed suitably for the number of people with their luggage, and staff are unable to figure out small changes that might speed things up or improve the experience

Cluster f. Order a coffee. But they won't take a name or give you a number. So scores of people stand around while someone shouts cappuccino at you and you have to guess whose it is. Mental.

Aweful service, terrible coffee waiting system. Everyone just pushing in taking other people's coffee, and after a 30 minute wait, staff are very rude when you ask them when your coffee will be ready and make out like its your fault its been 30 minutes. Get something before you enter the terminal as you don't have any other choice after security.

Poor instructions on where to wait for food. No guidance on any roles. Poor labeling. Poor customer service. I waited 20 minutes for my black Americano. They must have forgotten because after I complained I got it in 30 seconds. Poor service, planning and management.

This Starbucks in Hampstead always shut early it’s opposite to what it’s written in the door that they closed at 7.30 , however at around 5.30-6, all the chairs are already upside down. Staff will tell the clients that they will shut soon, I was sitting there and the time was just 5.20pm and clearly it says in the door they shut at 7.30. Staff there are lazy and unfriendly, they always chat with each other, no greetings for customers.

I love getting my coffee from this place when the Origin Coffee is overcrowded. It is quite good for some caffeine grab.

Had lunch here with my bro' today, there is a good menu of up market pub food to choose from, I had a wrap and my Brother had a burger, all seemed fresh food, freshly made for us. Nice staff good service etc, good place!

This place is such a missed opportunity. It needs a good clean with the seating inside maximised rather than using the space for storing sauces and napkins. They bakery items are usually cold despite being placed on a 'hot plate' I asked today for an item to be warmed as was told 'it is against health and safety law'. The place simply needs a more focussed management and it would be really nice.

I have been coming to wind down at work for some time, and Nero's is my favourite of the coffee chains. At times, some of the staff have been a bit curt, bit it is busy. Recently bought a cortado - usually served in next cup up from the expresso cup. This came in an expresso cup with the explanation of "That's how we sell them." This was done when I had a couple of minutes to spare and there was a fair queue. I couldn't complain without inconveniencing me and other customers. Whilst the staff member in question may get a bit of a laugh here and save .0000000021p, they won't be getting my custom again. I would advise others to relax elsewhere in the Holborn area.
