This place has always been a favourite from when we lived closer; we just don't get around to visiting so often now, which is a shame as the food and service never disappoints. We love the little blue cafe. 🩵

I was their very first paying customer 6 years ago. They are as great now as they were then. Speaking as a vegetarian going vegan I can't recommend this place enough. The food is top quality and is great value. The vegetarian breakfast shouldn't be called a vegetarian breakfast- its an all day meal- its so filling its the only meal you need all day! As a vegetarian going vegan it can be very hard to find places to eat out that don't rip you off. This place does not rip you off. The music is not so loud either. I'd recommend you give it a go. I love the fact that they give so much money to charity as well.

Absolutely dreadful! The place smells like rotten vegetables and the staff seem hung over. Enough of this garbage in Sheffield

Lovely small cafe with great cakes and friendly staff. I’ve been in several times and it’s consistently good. Best tea for miles!

Friendly staff, tasty food, well presented :). Only just managed to get a table though. Gentle business tip: these "laptop table blockers" are getting to be a bit of a problem these days. Four tables taken up by four single people who bought nothing for the 1.5 hours we were there. Headphones on, tapping away, ignoring several prospective new customers who looked then sadly left. But to repeat: lovely staff, food, and ambience. Just move the table blockers on! ;).

Perhaps the fact that I was looking forward to lunch here so much is why it cuts so deep that it was , at best, average. At 30 min wait for food and no offer of water (had to ask). When the full English came out - huge portion but the tempeh bacon that I'd been looking forward to the most was one measly, overcooked, very thin single slice. I was gutted. Half the plate was baked beans which was overkill and felt like it was compensating for the stingy tempeh offering - the rest of the brekkie was okay/standard but at £12.50 I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Nice food but after being a regular customer for a few years now I was asked along with my friend to give up a 4 person table for a young lass on her own! Great customer service there! I wouldn’t have minded moving for a larger group but for a regular customer to be moved bcuz of some random lone person is shocking and I will be visiting the other options in the area from now on. Not the customer service anyone would expect from any sort of business.

Stopped here for lunch. Had the vegan breakfast and my wife had fries and halloumi. The breakfast was excellent and portion size was great. Felt full afterwards! Coffee was excellent: locally roasted beans (Forge) for the decaf and Manchester roasted for the regular. Great selection of cakes and pastries (which was why my wife only had small savoury snack 😉). Bakewell well worth having, I’m told. Very friendly team here. Bustling Saturday lunchtime. Good value food and drinks.

I love going to Dana as the food is always good. In my opinion, the best vegan breakfast in Sheffield. The staff and the cafe are lovely, it does get busy but that's because it is so good. The vegan Bakewell tart is delicious.

This was our second visit to this cafe and both times we have had really good brunches. This time I had the full vegan breakfast which was extremely tasty. I particularly liked the sausage patties and the tofu scramble. The portions are very generous and although it isn’t cheap, it represents good value for money. A lovely independent cafe and well worth a visit.

I had visited for lunch with a friend, having been here many times before. I’m vegan and Coeliac, so it can be difficult to find places to eat. I ordered a latte with almond milk and my friend had a latte with cows milk. Both were lovely. I also ordered some sort of open sandwich with a kind of spicy salsa. It cost £8 for the sandwich. My friend had scrambled egg on sourdough….I don’t know how much it was tbh but it was cheaper. We waited about 15 mins, but that’s fine, it’s a small place. The food was VERY tasty…..HOWVER my friends portion was huge, really great sized slices of sour dough and a good portion of scrambled egg. Mine was pitiful to be honest in comparison. The salsa style topping was ok, but the two slices of gluten free bread were tiny! I looked at it and thought “eight quid for that???”. I’m not meaning to be rude, but it was worth a fiver at best. Disappointed to be honest. It was VERY over priced for what it was. And, basically, I won’t be back. Either you cater for people with allergies properly, or don’t….but don’t give me a child’s sized portion and feed everyone else like a king 🥴🥴🥴🥴

This little cafe is always full (deservedly so). I usually drop in for coffee & cake, but have also had delicious home-made soup here too. Recommend!

Terrible customer service!! Used to go there before Covid a lot, just to go today and be asked to move to the counter that 4 people were already sitting, (if u know the place u know how tight that already is) and was asked that I need to leave the table just after breakfast (that took forever to come) and a coffee after 5 mins of being on my laptop coffe not finished yet (arrived cold had to ask to re heat it) , cause they forgot to reserve a table for someone that comes regularly at this time!! Wow amazing!! Either move or leave half way through ur drink cause the table is for a regular customer … never going again!

The vegan Victoria sponge and Bakewell tart were amazing. The vegan fry up was good, although “bacon” tempeh, scrambled tofu and mushrooms were pretty flavourless. “Sausage” balls and hash browns were both great.

Had the sour dough avocado and halloumi breakfast. The tomato, red onion and coriander salsa really made it! Accompanied by a really decent cup of coffee. There is a lovely exhibition of paintings of independent Crookes shops and businesses by rebeccastew.art. Really worth a visit to see the pictures as well as the food!

The restaurant itself is in a really quaint building with a good atmosphere. However, I feel like the main "pull' of the restaurant is the amount of different rums they offer. We ordered a 'cuba libre' and unfortunately I couldn't enjoy it as the bartender had squeezed about 4 slices of lime straight into it, so it tasted purely of lime - no rum or pepsi. The variety of tapas options was good, and the food came out quickly. The food we ordered was ok, nothing special. The meatballs were massive and dry, the chicken and chorizo was dry (with a lack of chorizo), and the empanadas were disappointing as the pastry was too thick. The highlight of our meal was the wild mushroom risotto and the quick service. The patatas bravas was good, but I would have preferred it, if it came with an aioli sauce. We personally won't be going back.

Mostly take away but there's a ledge where you could eat in if you want. James is a great cook. Fantastic customer service. The food is so good. Big portions reasonably priced. Pleace is spotless .
