Delicious vegetarian authentic Syrian food - yummy and fresh. The people running the restaurant are a highlight - so friendly and it feels like you are being looked after by family. Highly recommend.

An unprepossessing restaurant - but don't be fooled by the decor. Their food is as good as it gets. The humous is fabulous, and their tabouleh is fresh, fresh, fresh! Wraps and salads boxes along with a number of daily specials means there's always something new to enjoy. The people who work there are also worth a mention.... really lovely people who seem obsessed with delivering the highest quality food.... no exceptions. Though you can eat in, you can also sit out in the square beside the Flat Iron... great for people watching!

As a Lebanese-American who grew up in a family where everyone was a great cook, I'm pretty demanding. And London has some outstanding Arabic restaurants. But Damascan Kitchen is my favorite. First, because the food is simply the best - high quality and authentic. But maybe even more because the people there are so lovely, they feel like family. I almost expect my dear old grandmother to pop her head out of the kitchen and tell me to eat more because I look too thin. It's vegetarian (and I'm not), so I still go to other places when I want meat. But for the freshest and most delicious Syrian/Lebanese food anywhere, this is my go-to place.

Have popped in a couple of times for lunch, they do salad boxes and wraps mostly with all the usual suspects (mostly vegetarian options: falafel, humuus, bab ghanoush, tabbouleh etc.) but with some specialties like stuffed courgettes / aubergines and rice/lentil salads. You can eat in or take away - it's a nice spot to sit at the outdoor tables on the Flat Iron Square. They also do larger catering plates for groups - and they made us an amazing platter with a mixture of the lot, with lots of pita to go with and it was very reasonalby priced. Seems like a nice family run business and has a no frills casual atomsphere.

I echo another reviewer where had a Kernel IPA, which definitely tasted dodgy but the server didn’t offer a replacement or feel anything was wrong with it! Otherwise seems like a nice spot but perhaps maintenance for their many craft beers isn’t diligent?
