Dal Pizzaiolo in Glasgow City

We were going to the Hydro for a gig so went looking for somewhere for dinner. Everywhere was really busy, but we got their last table. We both got burgers and fries, the food was excellent. Fresh, hot, brilliant flavours. Had a few drinks too, the wine was really nice. Staff were lovely, it was very busy but they managed it well.

First time visit. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, quick and super friendly, lovely decor inside. However we wont be retuning again, as the bathrooms were in a terrible state. This went further than just being unclean due to a busy service, the doors didn’t close, there was mould & grime and generally very unpleasant. Such a shame.

Very aesthetic and cute inside. Food was solid, sandwiches were really nice. The tots were lacking on the amount of sauce i think but were still nice and crispy. would probably go back for a cute brunch for sandwich and smoothie :)

Beautiful area first of all. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. Young girl served us so friendly and helpful. My food was ok warm not hot. Eggs were very good and fresh. Menu had such tiny font and other menu was very dirty.

We were seated straight away. Drinks: Order 2 x coffee (mocha & flat white), plus apple juice. Great coffee and apple juice described as “delicious” Food : Ordered Greek flat bread, kids chicken bites and Barcelona eggs. Food was very nice, Barcelona eggs were great especially chorizo and halloumi. Greek food was tasty but a little too much bread. Chicken bites were very tasty. Would recommend and would return

Served frozen, reformed chicken cutlet advertised as 'buttermilk fried chicken' at a premium price. Really disappointing experience. Staff were lovely and understanding and gave a refund, but they were severely let down by the kitchen.

Ordered a couple of pizzas to be delivered. Pizzaiolo accepted the order, sat on it for 30 minutes then canceled -- waste of time!

Stop here for a coffee on route to other venues. The breakfast options of breakfast would keep me going all day..crossiant and a fantastic coffee made my day so 2 coffees later time to move on. The wee cakes,and breakfast options is a great place to start or finish your day

Over cooked pasta. Reheated meals that left pasta the consistency of baby food. Complained but still had to pay half the cost of the meal despite eating only two fork fulls.

This was the second time we'd visited Dal Pizzaiolo. After just popping in for a drink last month, we returned to try some of the delicious looking food. The pizzas were absolutely as good as they looked; freshly made and very generous portion sizes. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we got. The staff were friendly and diligent. We're planning our next trip back there already!

It was pouring rain and so we went into the first restaurant we saw. It turned out that we chose one that was very welcoming and with great food. The two girls working there, one from Edinburgh and the other from Nice, were really friendly and welcoming. I ordered a quattro formaggi pizza which was cooked in front of us in a large pizza oven. It was really tasty and the toppings were very generous on a real Italian-style pizza base. None of that thick, doughy and chewy bread found in American pizzerias. My wife had the lasagne and made all the right noises as she ate it. She was very pleased with the taste. We had two cafés latte to finish. I do not know what brand of coffee they used, but it was quality. All in all a really nice meal was had in comfortable, friendly surroundings.

Arrived to be told only take cash, don't have a drinks licence, heater out in the middle of the floor, food basic but pricey, pizza quite good, staff nice, but stick to the proper itallian next door.

Picked up 2 pizzas for dinner last night and I've got to say, for the price, this is simply the best pizza in the west end. I never tried the rest of their food but every time I had pizza it's been spot on. The toppings are tasty, the pizzas are big enough and their mozzarella is something else! Their service is always very quick and the staff are very friendly. It's the only place I know in Glasgow that makes a real Italian pizza and it's not overpriced. I am planning to dine in and try the rest of their food soon.

Not lisenced but they will let you bring your own and they will supply glasses. I ordered a Calzone pizza and it came pretty quick, quicker than I have ever had before. I suspect it was already prepared and heated up. As I started eating it, it was fine but as I got to the middle it was really not too hot. If they use a microwave they need to leave it in just a little longer. If you are going to a concert then I would reccomend booking, unless you get there really early.

Went to this place for some quick a bite to eat and safe to say the food was absolutely shocking. The burger was so tasteless even the salt wouldn’t want to go on to the chips it bounced off. Also the fake heinz tomato sauce was horrible and so misleading me into thinking it was real Heinz ketchup when it was in fact watered down rancid cheap ugly nasty sauce. The didn’t ruin my day it ruined my whole week and payed £10 for this travesty.

close to the Lorne Hotel, they offer a very good affordable breakfast . Always service with a smile.

We live locally and occasionally get a take away pizzas from Dal Pizzaiolo. We came back home from a long journey last night and were looking forward to not cooking so my other half popped in at 9.45 pm to order a couple of pizzas but we're told, with a shrug of the shoulders they we closed. They say that they are open until 10 pm on their website - so suggest they change the opening hours on their website. To be honest it's put us off and from now on we'll probably just nip in the car over to Paesano's in Great Western Road. Disappointing.

Highly recommended. The pizzas are amazing. Really light. Freshly made and have I said they were great If you want alcohol, bring your own and be prepared to pay corkage. Really highly recommended.

Possibly one of the worst customer services we have encountered!! We arrived and there was no one in sight to guide us to our seat, so we just sat down. We waited around 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and deliver us menus. No apology whatsoever. Very rude staff. Giving this place a one star should be classified as a compliment!! The food was dumped on our table and the waitress did not even bother to come back and check if our meal was ok. When we finished our meal, the waitress came to take our plates away, with a very bad attitude. Appalling service. Saying that, the pizza we had to share was great!! Compliments to the chef. Me and my partner both ordered the “freshly” squeezed orange juice and it came with ice!! You couldn’t even taste the freshness as it was if i was drinking water. Advice: DO NOT SERVE ANY TYPE OF SOFT JUICE WITH ICE! When we received the bill we both agreed that it was completely overpriced. Overall, there was not a great value for money. We will definitely not return back here ATALL!
