Daisy's Kitchen in Stevenage

I don't often visit the Oval but I was in the area and I had not had any breakfast so I decided to go to Daisy's Kitchen. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and there were a few people in there so it is clearly a popular place to visit. I placed my order and I did not have long to wait before it all arrived. The food was excellent and the staff and customers seemed to know each other so they must have their "regulars". Excellent food and if I am up that way again I will return.

Daisy's is located in a housing estate in Stevenage. There is parking nearby. It is a spacious cafe/restaurant with plenty of choice on the menu. The food is decent quality, quite cheap, with good service.

This is a bit of an off the beaten track gem, the food is really good and, unlike similar establishments, you don't leave stinking of cooking oil. I particularly recommend the Turkish breakfast, but the massive variety of English dishes and breakfasts will be there to please all palates. Not expensive either. Charming owner and staff.

Ordered online for a Chicken roast dinner, ordered at 11am in the morning for a 4pm delivery, it came 11.30am. It was re delivered 4pm , even the cardboard lid of the box was as hot as an oven , yorkshires and potatoes soggy as soggy can be. Veg so hot i had to spit it out. Id lay money it was the morning roast and had been in the oven to re heat. couldnt eat it , threw it away....£12.50 down the drain

You can find all the breakfast ingredients you wish for a hearty morning meal and whilst you’re waiting for your food, you can have a world-affirming chat with this man who battled through the hardships of COVID-19 and still proudly standing! We must preserve humanity and the personal touch in business. We must support businesses like Daisy’s Kitchen!

Just had a delivery from here, food was outstanding, service wonderful, can't wait to order again! The mixed grill and apple pie were amazing. thank you Daisy's Kitchin

My husband and are key workers .We visited stevange staying in hotel .Wanted something more than paper bag sandwich and muffin.Visited daisy kitchen ordered 2 takeaway breakfasts with drinks.The owner went over the top by helping to carry food and leave 2 meters away As my husband went to park car. breakfast where first class .Nice to know in this time not at all about money and more about service.He said only had business for 8 months and was doing well until covid19 Wish him well in the future

So me and my partner recently ordered a takeaway from daisy's kitchen. The pictures of the food looked incredible so we decided to order a BLT baguette and a chicken burger. Well, when it arrived, I thought my partners baguette was a freebie. It was tiny! Nothing like a decent size baguette, more like a child's portion, I was laughing out loud it was so ridiculous. My burger, I honestly could of made better. It's pretty much a frozen chicken patty from a supermarket shoved in a bun. I will not be ordering again from here. Can't believe how bad it was.

Found them on Deliveroo during the exciting lockdown and glad we tried them. Delivery was quick and the owner who delivered was friendly. Lovely full English. Very tasty. Give them a go and support your local restaurants .....

Staff is great and the food is fresh and tasty. The customer service is as good as it can be and you can also pay by card, which is great! Totally recommend!

Great food, great atmosphere, really lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Great for mums and kids as there is a dedicated play area. Spotlessly clean. Well done

New cafe at the Oval popped in for breakfast .My husband had a full English there was lots of it and great variety. I had poached eggs on toast with smoked salmon it was lovely. Service with a smile very competitive prices and nice little play area for children .well done we will be back !
