The location of Daisy's is beautiful, but the toilets don't work well. There are only two for women which is not enough. Today, one of them was too dirty to use. While waiting for the second cubicle to become free, I tried about five times to flush the dirty one, with no success, i.e. it did flush but did not become clean. When the second cubicle finally became free, it also had not been effectively flushed, despite the woman who came out of it saying she had flushed it twice. This sort of thing really lets the place down. Daisy's needs to get a plumber, and to make sure the toilets are cleaned throughout the day. Also, if possible, they need more toilets.

A group of us went to Daisy's for an early Christmas celebration. We had a really lovely evening last night. Levi gave us a very warm welcome and it couldn't have been better. The food was fabulous, the ambience and service was spot on - friendly and relaxed - everything was just right. The Christmas Menu was excellent and very good value too. One of our party is gluten free and another has a food allergy - absolutely not a problem and great care taken over this. It was our 3rd consecutive Christmas booking. Looking forward to doing it again next year! Thanks to the team for a superb evening.

This is a warm, cosy cafe. Great to sit in on a cold blustery day, looking out at the pond and the pidgeons and the Canada geese. The cake looked very appetising, but I chose the bacon and cheese panini and the bacon wasn't cooked. I also overheard a man at the next table complain that his bacon wasn't cooked. Putting raw bacon into a panini before cooking it doesn't work. It needs to be grilled/fried first. The coffee was very good. I shall visit again the next time I'm in Pinner - and eat cake!

A group of 12 of us met here for lunch, it was a lovely day and the park was quite busy. The restaurant was quite busy too so we grabbed a couple of tables outside and moved them together. We ordered a variety of food, chicken and avocado burger, veggie bean burger, kids menu we had the macaroni cheese and the mezze platter. We also order the falafel flatbread and jackfruit flatbread. It was made really really well, we all enjoyed all the food we had ordered and they had it it to us quite quickly whilst being cooked really well and hot. The macaroni cheese was lovely too and the falafel in the mezze platter was really nice too. Everyone enjoyed all their food and had some lovely views whilst eating. We have been a few times and each time it’s been quite consistent.

A lovely park, the nicest venue in Harrow by far and these guys have the plum spot in the middle of it. The food is nice, well made, it’s very popular so can be a bit of a delay but nothing too bad. No Halal or kosher food as it’s a bit too old school English to do that but good veggie and vegan so everyone can eat. The staff are mostly young and can be a little bit indifferent but are probably a little over worked on weekends. It’s very load with kids and families and well healed Pinner luvvies guffawing but there is also a specified quiet area. It’s a little pricey but for such a nice spot in the middle of Pinner it’s hard to complain. Maybe the menu could be a little broader, it’s a little bit run of the mill but the breakfasts are good. WiFi works and management are pretty good if you have any issues. On reflection if give it a 4.5 if I knew how to do halves.

Packed when we got there but we were kindly given a table that had a reserved sign on it. Food was good and came out quickly (we had ordered two fry ups). It is quite loud and the floor and tables could do with some cleaning but overall it wouldn't put me off for visiting again.

Visited this place today, we've passed it many times and has always been busy. The food was decent however, the service was a let down. There wasn't any space except a dirty table, I asked a waitress if the table was free and she said she would be over to clean it for us. We sat down and after a while another waitress came to clear the table. She couldn't fit everything on her tray so left a few bits. Unfortunately she seemed to have forgotten about clearing up the rest of the table and had to be promoted by my boyfriend 10 mins later. Even then she only took away a dirty plate and left one of the dirty mugs. Our table was never cleaned so there was crumbs everywhere which I had to wipe away with tissue. It also seemed like all the staff were reluctant to be there which was a huge put off.

After a short visit to the park we found ourselves wanting a quick coffee and a ice for the little one. They were busy as usual so I wasn’t expecting the coffee to be quick. That said - I was in ear shot of the Barista and she was a horrible person. Every time someone came up to ask how long the coffee would take ...one staff would say a few minutes longer. However, the Barista , a young 20 something female said to her colleagues things like... “Tough , they can wait” “Shame shame shame” “We are closing soon and if they ask again I will say too late... shame” She handed me my coffee, didn’t say a sorry for the wait or anything in fact. Daisy’s - capacity plan and train your staff about customer service and certainly not to chat about the customers when one is standing within eat shot. The staff don’t like you in this place! Disgusting!

Despite my 3 star rating I actually really like Daisies and we have become regulars for breakfast which is really good. However we have become more & more disenchanted with the place because of their really annoying booking system. If you get there after 10am on a weekend you will find a whole lot of the tables have a note on them saying they are booked from 10:30 or 10:45, 11:00. What is really irritating is that they are still taking orders for food knowing that there is nowhere to sit. Why would anyone take huge block bookings in a cafe is beyond me. We have actually been there a few times when one group of regulars turns up who usually have a table for about 12 blocked off. Many of them have just a cup of coffee and possibly a tea cake or the like so it’s not as if they’re huge spenders. Having said all this it is a great little cafe which is really buzzing but if they don’t sort this out I’m afraid that we will be going to one of the other cafes in Pinner for Brekky I’m future.

I was extremely disappointed today visiting this cafe in Pinner Park. Some of the staff serving were really unfriendly. Terrible customer service. It felt like they just didnt want to be there. The place was filthy. Floors needed sweeping. Same with the tables and chairs. The chairs were dirty with bits of food. The coffee was bitter and didn't taste right. Such a pity as I have visited before and it has been pleasent. I hate to moan but your team at this cafe need to sort it out. I won't be visiting there again after the service I received today.

Had bee recommended the Christmas menu so decided to book it for our team celebration. Because we booked early, we qualified for a free bottle of prosecco which made the meal even better value than it already was. All choices for the three courses were good and the process for choosing food and reserving the table worked well. Most impressive of all was how Daisy’s responded to one of our party being coeliac. They showed how they could alter the menu and the communication about it could not have been better. My friend confidently enjoyed her meal knowing that she was safe to eat it. All the food was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and service personal and attentive. We had a fabulous evening.

I have been here twice and both times I had to queue for 10-15 mins to order food. This is a real issue when you're with a four year old who has to mind the table in case someone takes it when they get up to repeatedly ask you to sit down with them. Why they use such an antiquated system is completely beyond me. They food was average but the red velvet cake was very dry. The staff were nice though.

I live about 10 minute walk from Pinner Memorial Park where Daisys Cafe is located, this is my favourite summer eaterie as the lake & fountain provide a tranquil setting, the park gets very busy with people who bring their own picnics. The restaurant is small but the patio stretches towards the lake so its easy to find a table outside. With the glorious weather last weekend, we walked round Pinner Memorial Park and had tea and cakes at the Cafe. We saw the Dinner Menu on the table, and booked ourselves a table for dinner. We came back In the evening and Daisys was transformed into a cosy candle lit restaurant. Live music in the background and a great meal. Any Burgers are 2 for 1, and very large helpings of starters and mains. You can either park at the Chapel Lane Car Park (pay and display) or if you go round the back you can find free parking near the School. PS West House where the restaurant stands used to be the residence of Lord Nelson's niece and he often used to visit her.

17 of us gathered for a Christmas dinner at Daisy's. As a venue Daisy's in the Park is great, however the food this year received a very mixed reception from folk within our group. Whilst my dinner of soup, salmon and chocolate bread and butter pudding was fine others stated that the sprouts were very bitter. Some said that the food was barely luke warm, others that the soup was too salty, others that game pie was nothing more than a beef stew with a pastry lid on! I know you can't please all the people all the time but I've never received feedback like this before. Sorry Matt & co. :(

Decided to have lunch here with our toddler after visiting the newly re-opened Heath Robinson Museum (next door). It wasn't too busy on a partly rainy Sunday afternoonReasonably broad selection of menu items, served from a small kitchen. All prepared fresh, even the cole slaw looked house made (or at least a top quality pre-prepped bought in slaw). The crisps that came with my sandwich had been warmed for extra flavour.Service was order/pay at the counter with food brought to table.I would have scored a 5 but for one thing. The kid's "mini burger" (quite large) was a bit over charred from the char grill, OK for adults but a bit too strong for younger children. We knew our little one wouldn't eat the whole thing anyway so we trimmed the charred outside off. This would probably be better cooked most of the way through in a frypan and then given a light char to finish off.Open Breakfast/Lunch/Afternoon tea in the winter. Special events on some evenings. Licensed for beer/wine (small list).

When we ordered, they had no paninis left! I then wanted an egg mayonnaise sandwich, but it came out toasted? I was not asked it I wanted it toasted and it was horrible and dry. My son wanted a chocolate milkshake, but the milkshake machine wasn't working. He then said he'd have a chocolate ice cream, but they only do vanilla. Really? I often go to Daisy's either for breakfast at the weekend or for a coffee when out with my grandson. It is in a lovely location. However, if it were not for its location then I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit, as it is quite expensive and the waiting time is often unacceptably long. I have been both when it is busy (reserve a table if you can) and when it is quiet, and the waiting time for drinks and food is ridiculous. On one occasion, we waited nearly half an hour for coffees - when they arrived my grandson was getting fractious, so we asked for them to be poured into take away cups, and this took another 10 minutes! They need to develop a more streamlined system for taking orders and delivering food.

We popped in for coffee and cake. We went at 2pm...it was fairly busy. There is a car park there which had free parking for 30 minutes. You queue first and give your order and then drinks etc are brought to the table. It was quite hard to find a table that was clear and ready as about half the tables outside were occupied and most of the empty tables had used cups and plates and debris on. We did find a table that was fairly clear but it wasn't very clean. We sat outside and the view of the duck pond and park is very pleasant and relaxing. We could have brought our dog with us outside. We had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks to come and when they did both the cups and saucers were smudged and not washed properly...which did spoil the experience a bit. The cakes were ok...nothing special. Quite expensive and need more waiting and clearing staff.

I was excited to try the food here, it was my third attempt as I forgot about their customer led queuing system on the two previous occasions, I'd bought cold drinks, tea and cakes there before. I can't say three times lucky though. We waited about half an hour for our food, after being told it was going to be a 10-15 min wait. Two of us had burgers, inc a child, and one had a panini. The panini and sweet potato fries were good, however, the burgers were burnt, charcoaled even. The other person would opt to give no stars. The tables were filthy with old food in between grooves and the glasses for our bottled posh pop (which was lovely) were dirty and sticky inside, not washed at all, so we asked for them to be changed. We cut out half the burger for the child and took off all the burnt bits and then asked for the other burger to be replaced with a club sandwich. The childs' chips were good, but not those with the other burger, they looked like re-cooked odds and ends. The fries that came with the replacement club sandwich again, looked like re-cooked odds and ends. Club sandwich eater then had an upset stomach!! The quality of food and service does not justify the prices they charge. We won't be returning.

Last time I reviewed Daisy's it was simply awful - dirty crockery left everywhere, rude staff and overall very poor. Looking at recent reviews it seems the key to having an enjoyable meal at Daisy's is to avoid the busy periods, when staff (both front-of-house and kitchen) cannot cope.So an early breakfast before the crowds of parents arriving after dropping their kids off at the school across the road was a great option. The staff were pleasant and not already hassled and harrassed, the food arrived reasonably promptly and was well prepared and presented and the view over the small lake was serene.A great time to come

Tea frequently tastes awful due to their jugs of milk being sour and not refrigerated properly. Staff seem unable to cope when it gets really busy. Would not eat a meal there at any time. Never see any staff going round cleaning tables when I have visited. Have had chipped teacups. The café badly needs a refurb . Tatty tables and chairs.Toilets don't seem to be inspected at all and frequently in a bad state.

Queued for 10 minutes to order 2 coffees and 2 cakes, it took a further 15 minutes to serve the coffee after paying. I pointed this waiting time out to a member of staff when the drinks came and the fact that the table we had sat at was filthy as were the floors beneath and surrounding us . The staff member said he hated seeing it like that , they were short staffed and apologised. The staff were sinking under the chaos of not coping with orders, not knowing where the customers were sitting and not clearing and cleaning tables let alone sweeping the floors. There were no napkins , some tables remained uncleared the entire time we were there. When staff acknowledge that their service and hygiene is falling well short of the standard they would expect to provide is it not time to take action and close temporarily to clean up and catch up or offer refunds to unhappy customers rather than let a queue continue to form with more people who are likely to be about to have a poor experience like me ? Obviously not when the money keeps coming. Our coffee was pleasant but my salted caramel slice was poor, excessively thick, hard, dry pastry base and a thin layer of caramel. This was my first and last visit here.

A party of four went for lunch today (1 April 2016) and ordered a £6 basic panini/wrap each and were given our drinks upon purchase (£2 per soft drink). The food took ages to arrive, so much so we had to go in and chase it up, as we only had an hour at the cafe, before we had to leave. The place was busy, but most trade seemed to be take away drinks and snacks (I now put that down to local knowledge that you would wait ages for a basic sandwich to be made up). The food was ok, as it was a basic panini with tuna in it on my part with a few crisps and bit of lettuce. I like Pinner Park and would go again but next time will purchase my sandwich and drink elsewhere as would be cheaper than £8 and not involve the long wait for food.

Turned up for lunch with my wife and 2 boys. Very attentive service and an excellent choice of food for young children and adults too. A fabulous coffee for the wife and a lovely ale (wisely suggested by the excellent manager) for me. Tasty food and the homemade chips are first class. I'll be going back again, definitely. Matthew, the manager, really has got this right.

This is a cafe in a park that has a 5 star rating for hygiene and that's what I look at before eating anywhere nowI go here every Sunday morning with a group of runners and it's always been consistently great food and a great service. The cafe has parking for c15 cars with parking free on a Sunday. It's a 8 min walk from Pinner high street. Our running club is lucky to have this place so well done owners.

It isn't gourmet food, but for what it offers it's brilliant. A wide variety of different meals on the menu, well prepared by friendly staff in fairly spacious surroundings overlooking the duck pond outside the window. Great for couples or families, plenty of choices for picky children.

Daisys is a lovely cafe in Pinner Memorial Park; lovely for brunch, lunch or just a cup of coffee. Daisys at night is even better, when the cafe becomes a brasserie. We absolutely love it there. The staff are really lovely and we always feel so welcome. The menu is simple but the food is done well, we go regularly and it is always a fantastic evening. The manager, Matt is great, Olivia is always smiley and welcoming and Sam is a pocket rocket, delivering great service, with a smile. We recommend the steaks and burgers but the Caesar salad is my favourite. The puddings are to die for. A great place with a great team of people.

Hidden away at the back of Pinner Memorial Park, this little cafe shows all the other Park cafe's how it should be done. Friendly smiling service and good quality food at a reasonable price in a great location. The only minor complaint is their teapots, which sit on top of the cup until it's time to pour, they don't pour properly and as result you have to be very careful but will probably still spill. Overall though a great place

Great location in Pinner Memorial Park, in front of the lake with seating outside for when the weather allows it. Inside is also nice but can get noisy as it seems to always be busy and it is popular with families with young children. The food is good. Service can be quite slow. I have been there several times and on the odd occasion I didn't have to wait much, but mostly it is half an hour or more.

we have visited this cafe a lot over the years and found it to have a nice atmosphere, nice cafe food and friendly staff when they aren't too busy. There is a lovely view from the cafe and it has a family feel to it. They also sell fantastic ice cream and nice home made cakes. Sometimes when it gets busy, there is a long wait for food and it can be a bit slap dash, but if you have time, it has a lovely atmosphere and in the park which is great for the kids.

My wife and I took both of our sons to Daisys on Saturday lunch time. One has allergies and the other does not. On arrival we asked to see the allergy information, we were told that they did not have written allergy information (a legal requirement since December 2014). We asked if a dish contained egg, dairy or soy, the waitress was not sure and went away to check. She returned saying that it did not so we proceeded to order. The food arrived and my son ate and seemed to enjoy it. However, later that day we had two horrendous nappies and a very unhappy child who woke up numerous times in the night and needed to be given anti-histamine. Needless to say we will not be returning to daisy and would warn anyone else with allergies to steer clear.

Me and my boyfriend went for a couple of drinks and starters, the person who was serving was not welcoming or friendly at all. seemed very reluctant to serve us and a bit racist too! At first no one came to our table to take orders and the i had to go to the tills to get my drinks and place the order as well. I was very disappointed when we asked for tomato ketchup and he chatted away with other customers, and waited so long that we no longer wanted to wait and just ate our food and paid the bill. Cannot believe how bad the customer service was!

Daisys is in a great location. It is often busy. On this occasion late in the afternoon it was not and we were served very quickly. However the first glass offered for the soft drink was dirty. A request for another was met with reluctance and the replacement was also dirty. At my repeated request for a clean one, this second one was washed and given to me dripping wet. It still had fingermarks on it. The tea was served in a stained and dirty cup. On a previous occasion we had been ill after a lunchtime meal. I will not be returning.

Visited here one Sunday afternoon with our family. Weather was very sunny so they were quite busy and tables were pretty full, we ordered some drinks and grabbed a table to decide what to order to eat.Menu is good, lots to chose from, from burgers, jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches. Good children's menu too which is alway great! We ordered burgers, chicken salad baguette and a children's meal. All came pretty swiftly even with them being busy. Portion sizes were very good and very reasonable prices too. Definitely recommend the burgers they are lovely! We also had ice creams and these too were great! Staff were helpful and always looked busy tidying up or helping customers. Manager also checking everyone was ok which is always nice! Nice touch to be able to buy bird food to feed the ducks and a great area with a brilliant park for the little ones! Will definitely visit again, a lovely little place and very well managed. Thanks for a lovely day!

We went on a busy Thursday lunchtime during Easter half term. We found a table easily inside, despite it being very small. Given it's park / pond side location it is understandably incredibly popular with mums with toddlers (and buggies) as they grab a coffee - although fortunately it seemed to be mainly 'to go'.Food (we had the panini and chips - chips were incredibly good) and coffee were all very good - although my son had a waffle that was a little hard. Waiting staff were all very pleasant. It was a little noisy given the sheer volume of people that were queuing in the cramped restaurant. I would still come here again.

I have been many times for coffee and lunch at Daisy's in the Park in Pinner, but this was the first time we had been for an evening meal and definitely a totally different experience to daytime. The tables were decorated with candles and once the evening had settled in and it was dark outside, you could almost imagine you were dining somewhere out in the open. The trees outside twinkled with lights. The menu is not extensive, but this works in their favour as everything is cooked fresh and presented so very professionally. Our table of 6 all ordered different main courses and all were a lovely surprise and all very delicious. Even our vegetarian diners were delighted with their meals and one asked for a starter as a main course and this came on a dinner plate with extra to make it a main course, which is not always the case when they have gone out for meals and found that they did not like the main course veggie option. The waiting staff, one of whom is possibly also the manager were all very courteous and informative about the ingredients and nothing was any trouble indeed. If anyone wants to have a meal that is not from the usual high street restaurants that are the same which ever town you are in, then this is somewhere to come to and can definitely recommend it as a 'dining experience'.

I see there are a fair few negative reviews here and I struggle to see why. This tends to be my first choice for weekend brunch as I live 3 miles away. It is beautifully situated next to the lake (they offer bird seed for the ducks for 20p) and is very child friendly. In the good weather there is a lot of outdoor seating, covered and uncovered. Pastel colours, bright and clean it is an enjoyable environment with food that tastes above average for just a cafe. Indeed I was going there a while before I realised they kept the restaurant open 3 nights a week calling it Daisies in the Dark. My partner and I enjoyed a good wine with a steak cooked to our requirements. Yes the night menu wasn't the most extensive but for romance you can't beat walking to your venue through a park in the moonlight. The live music provided was also of a high standard I bought the ambient jazz girls cd. I am also going to see how much it costs to book the venue above for a birthday party as this is also an option. Overall I enjoy this venue and yes it might not be the cheapest but it is not expensive. Yes it is busy with families during the weekend but it is a great cafe with great views who provide a killer hot chocolate.

Food can be good, coffee seems to take too long to be made even when the café is empty!Waiting staff would be a good idea too as when busy the queues take too long. Many customers have small children who naturally make a lot of noise therefore this establishment is not great for business lunches or those seeking peace. Very good spot on sunny summer mornings when one can sit outside.

Daisys has a great location, arguably the best in Pinner, yet despite being open now for some years still seems to be plagued with long queues and poor service especially at lunchtimes when the weather is nice. These two events do seem to occur quite frequently yet they always seem to take Daisys by surprise. On one occasion recently we were told that it would take up to an hour to be served, and indeed it did. The food, when it came, was ok, nothing special Two years ago, I made similar comments when the average wait was more like 30 minutes. Things have got worse. I am no restaurant expert but there must be better ways to do this.

Have visited this Park for the first time today and found it delightful. It is just off the High Street. You turn right by W. H. Smith and go under the railway bridge then if walking cross the road and enter the Park. If driving then carry on past this entrance and you come to a car park. If walking you just follow the path and you come to a well-equipped play area which is surrounded by colourful metal fencing. There are rock walls, swings, climbing apparatus and lots of things for children of all ages. We sat there in lovely sunshine for about an hour then made our way to this Restaurant, called Daisy's. There is lots of seating in and out, a huge menu but you have to queue up, order, pay and then wait for your food. Everything is freshly made.the view from outside is lovely. A huge lake with ducks, water fountain, lots of trees and grassy areas and benches. In my opinion it is a beautiful well thought out park. The cafe has a lovely menu with all sorts of goodies. I had the Daisy Vegetarian Club sandwich with chips for approx. £8.95 and a sparkling water and a cappuccino. I had to wait quite a while but it was worth it. The sandwich was toasted and the filling was egg mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and red pepper. Quite a large portion so one could share with a friend. The chips were homemade and delicious. My friend had two poached eggs with two portobello mushrooms and wholemeal toast. It looked great. Her two grandchildren had the children's lunchbox which consisted of a sandwich with filling of your choice, crisps of your choice, fruit of your choice, yogurt and a drink . They loved this too. This was served in a little carrier bag which could have been taken outside to have a picnic with. There are toilets just through a door within the restaurant and a disabled one which has baby-changing facilities. Altogether it was a lovely experience and I would definitely go again.

Took the family here last September for afternoon tea while my granddaughter played in the park. We all had sandwiches crisps and a soft drink which came to over £50 yes FIFTY POUNDS and there were 4 adults and a child. The food was really quite poor for the money, tables dirty, service average. It's a great location, however I think this place is very over priced and its a real shame that someone else can't do better with it as the current owners seem to just fleece the locals for what is very average food at best. Breakfast is good quality and almost worth the money.

Reserve a table is my best advice otherwise you will struggle to get seated. The cafe is a busy, bustling, noisy place just perfect for a Sunday brunch with kids after a walk round the park. Plenty of tasty, healthy choices. Order at the till (bit of a queue most of the time) and they serve at the table.Reasonably priced too.

We visited this nice Cafe for the first time, with our son, daughter in law and baby Grandson, on their recommendation. We were not disappointed. Not a huge place but we sat by the window, overlooking the lake.We were not rushed to choose from the menu, but when we were ready, we ordered three 'Daisies Big Breakfast' (I think that's what it was called), one 'Salmon (eggs) Benedict', served on Cholla bread and for the baby, his Mummy ordered separate little 'breakfast bits' that we knew he would enjoy. It was all beautifully served, lovely and hot and tasty. We ordered second hot drinks and on no occasion, even after we had finished, did not feel that we needed to leave immediately.I would imagine that during the summer time and better weather this will be a great place to come and have a breakfast/brunch or snack, which we most certainly will do and recommend to others.(On a last note - if you have young ones with you, the walk around the park is lovely and there is an amazing play area)!
