Grandma's cooking, delicious food, good portions, friendly attentive staff

Super friendly service. Hearty portions. Great prices. Tasty food. I appreciated the availability of soups and other foods that one generally doesn't see in many restaurants. We had the lamb pilaf, borscht soup, BBQ chicken wings and Greek salad. Last time my sister chose the restaurant. Now having tried it, I hope to bring a friend who's a fussy eater, but likes home cooking.

The best borscht I have ever eaten!

Lovely experience visiting Nana’s kitchen for the first time. We stepped in just for dessert (which we enjoyed alot) but also took a liking to the homely menu and different food options. Will definitely visit again for a full course meal soon :)

The takeaway is unreasonably priced. More than £16 for spaghetti.... make it make sense!? Spaghetti, you know, pasta, as in the cheapest of cheap ingredients. Barely classed as food

Their £13.5 lunch deal is of exceptional value for such high quality food. For this price you can get a drink, starter and main. The portion is large. Everything is homemade and very delicious. The staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Just had a beef stroganoff with mashed potato.. when I say it was delicious.. its quite the understatement. Great comfort food much better than all the garbage fast food shops nearby.

The food was very average, portion size wasn’t massive as mentioned in the reviews. The mojito was horrible, very bitter. When we told the lady, she didn’t offer to give us a new one or take it off the bill. Food is also quite pricey for Harrow.

Every community should be so lucky to have a jewel like Nana's Kitchen. Entirely homemade Ukrainian and Eastern European cuisine, but with innovative Middle Eastern / Central Asian influences as well - from Borscht, Chicken Kiev, cabbage rolls and dumplings with mushroom sauce to Biryani and expertly prepared Pilaf. Try any / all of the hearty meat or vegetarian warming dishes, traditional salads and/or lovely desserts. Cozy atmosphere, friendly owners - this is the kind of place you'll recommend to those who ask for a local "best idea" that they won't find anywhere else.

A gem of a place just a few minutes walk from H&W station. Cosy and unpretentious, you are welcomed in by the friendliest owner. The menu consists of mostly central/eastern European dishes, a lot of which I had when travelling in Ukraine. I had the borscht and chicken dumplings as part of the set lunch menu, which is excellent value. Really recommend this place. I'm not from the area but I'll be sure to visit again specifically for this place.

Using my friends Google to post…we ate here today, it was fantastic, the lady is very friendly and accommodating, the portion sizes are big and the prices are fair and it tastes really good. Also it is the first time I ever saw a restaurant serving Eastern/Central European cuisine, which is halal at the same time, giving a lot of people a chance to try this food who never did so before. The fresh homemade Sauerkraut was great, so were all dumpling dishes. Will be going again.

What a place, the food was amazing and simply outstanding hospitality. They went out of their way to make our rare family get together a special one. I can’t recommend this family run place enough. If you are in the area a must visit place for great food and warm, friendly hospitality. Other restaurant owners should visit Nana’s Kitchen and learn from it.

Absolutely fantastic food and great service. We had the borscht with a tasty garlic brioche bun and the beef in cabbage, both perfectly cooked and a stunning depth of flavour. Had a truly home cooked feel with generous portions and even the caramelised onion with potatoes we had on the side were cooked too perfection. The strawberry mocktail was a lovely refreshing addition.

Whilst on a London vacation, we ordered meals for delivery, three nights in a row, for three people. All of the meals came quickly, and all were excellent. Very satisfied.

It's always a delight to go to Nanas' kitchen. They are extremely accommodation, the service is very polite and the food is delicious. Amazing couple who run it. The Chef works exceedingly hard, and all meals are freshly made. The best sauerkraut l have ever tasted.

This restaurant is soo nice. The food taste so good and home cooked. It's a family owned restaurant and they are super friendly and kind. I've never found halal Chicken Kiev in a restaurant before it was so good. The fact that everything is halal is so nice because I got to try food I would have never got a chance to. Would definitely recommend everything was so good from the food to the decor to the people.

We came for the first time today and were so impressed by the food, which was delicious and well presented, with some dishes we’d never had before. The service was also excellent, fast and super friendly. We will definitely be back - thank you! Update - we finally came with my in-laws for a birthday meal. My father in law has had a lot of birthdays and said this was the best birthday meal he’d had! Such tasty and wholesome food, great value and lovely service.

I visited this little cafe/restaurant back in September 2020 and found it to be a little hidden gem: lovely food in a very cozy place, with extremely polite staff. On my return visit today, I found that everything was as lovely as it had been two years ago. I started with a turkey dumpling soup (it is well worth getting one of the delicious homemade brioche bread and garlic buns to accompany it) followed by beef stroganoff (which went very well with the tagliatelle served with it). And I could not miss on a scrumptious Oreo and ice cream home made cake. As before, the staff was extremely friendly and polite. I look forward to my next visit.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Harrow, and my personal favourite. I love going here with anybody; good place to have a nice hearty meal with your friends. I guarantee you won't leave hungry, portions are big.

I am a picky mouth. But this is the best restaurant in London. The BBQ is exactly BBQ should be. The sauce is heavy enough and chicken is just right. The fired chicken is crispy outside but tender inside. The mutton fired rice is exactly how mutton should be. I really don’t want to recommend this place to anyone because I want this kitchen just be mine!

Excellent restaurant. With my partner we ate the lunch meal that included a soup, a main course and a drink. It was the best meal I had on my vacation in the United Kingdom. The food is homemade and fabulous. Wonderful service, the waitress was very friendly and nice. For me it is a 5 star and it is extremely cheap for the quality and quantity of the great food they offer.

Me and my brother stopped here for lunch during our stay in Hoi An. We ordered the chicken with passion fruit and a special pizza. The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ukrainian Cuisine Without Russian Bombs! If the shocking Russian invasion of Ukraine has made you want to find out more about Europe’s second largest country (until Putin annexes it) then you need to check out Nana’s Kitchen. Being brutally honest, I went to Nana’s Kitchen out of curiosity and wasn’t expecting much – Ukraine is not on the culinary map of the world, but I was missing out – wow! My wife and I had to go for the stroganoff – one beef and one chicken. Both we a good size and were high quality. The beef on rice marginally edged out the chicken on noodles – but both were first rate. The soups were also very good. So all in all we will be heading back to indulge in our new love of Ukrainian cuisine. And the owner was very nice as well!

Very unassuming, but the food and portion sizes are very good. Everything I have tried from stroganoff to rice dishes have been excellent and full of flavour. This is a favourite when in Harrow.

“A TASTE OF UKRAINE… 😋😋😋” Cosy unpretentious gem of a cafe with very nice Ukrainian food and GREAT service! For vegetarians I can recommend their mushroom, cabbage and pepper dishes with steamed veg. Hygiene is excellent rated at 5. For best times go between 2PM & 6PM if you like avoiding crowds & dreaded muzac. I have seen non-vegetarian customers chow down their Borscht with gusto… so clearly worth it. If you can, buy their food directly, not through an app, its a small family run cafe, and delivery app companies rip them off by taking 40% to 50% of the sale. Do your little bit to support Ukraine & Ukrainian business, if you can choose, choose this cafe

Living close by I’d walked by many times but only went in for the first time last week. And I’m very glad we did. We had borscht and dumplings and all loved it, also my toddler who munched a lot of dumplings. Friendly atmosphere and attentive service.
