Daisy & Beas in County Durham

Excellent visit. Cafe was warm and inviting. Staff super friendly and great space for young children. We came with our 4.5 year old. Food was delicious, came hot and reasonably priced. Second excellent visit here and will come again for sure. Very clean. Toilets immaculate.

Great coffee, scones and paninis. Such lovely staff and warming atmosphere. The new cafe at Summerhill is a fabulous addition to Daisy and Beas. Highly recommended.

Just had my grand daughters 3rd birthday party here. The best child's organised party I've ever been to.amazing food cooked and prepared by the staff for both children and adults. Everyone had a brilliant time, including mums, dad's and grand parents! A big thank you to the owner, who pushed out all the stops to provide the best party ever.

Lovely cafe. Great place to come with small children who can safely use the designated play area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good choice of drinks and snacks with specials also available.

I'm sitting in the cafe now, it's bright and airy with an area at the far end for kids to play. Lots of kids are getting dressed up in various outfits and there's plenty of toys in the pay area for them to play with. There's also a craft table where a shuttle is kids are making things with coloured pipes and egg boxes. I'm not with a child but I don't feel out of place and the kids aren't running around like lunatics so it's write relaxing. Phew just had a bacon bun and a coffee which were both very good and well worth the £3.50. There's also lots of home made cakes to choose from. When I'm next in town 'll defiantly make the Daisy & Beas cafe my choice for a coffee.

There is nowhere else in town to take your children and get great barista coffee. The staff are amazing and friendly. We always visit when we're near.

Great selection of food for children and adults, great play area for children to enjoy while parents can catch up and have a coffee. They also have a team of lovely staff who are excellent at what they do.

What a lovely place to eat, the homemade cakes are absolutely delicious especially the tea-loaf. The staff are very helpful and friendly & best of all there’s a play space for your little ones, so you can have warm food & drink.

This is a place not to be missed ❤️ A breast feeding, parent friendly cafe, which caters for everybody. All dietary needs are catered for, with a good selection of choices for the little ones. A bonus is the lovely play area that your little ones can use, whilst catching up with friends. What a find 😊. I regularly meet up with friends at least once a month. ☕️🍰 Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed ☺️

Absolutely wonderful warm and friendly Cafe. The staff are really nice and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They have a lot of dairy free and vegan options available too, sometimes making up dishes that are not on the menu to accommodate. My son loves it here and we come back every single week.

Nice little cafe with a kids area, very friendly staff and lots of different food options including Vegan options and dairy free alternatives. Would definitely recommend
