Da Vinci's used to be my favourite pizza joint, unfortunately they've gone seriously down hill. The lack of sauce and toppings has been an issue the past few times I've been, maybe to the fact they have 2 other stores now and have given up on the quality of their product. Very sad.

Food always luke warm, this time I asked for my pizza to be put back in the oven - they put it in the microwave! I asked them again to take it out of the microwave & put it in the oven - the head dude refused to put it in the oven extremely put out that I wanted a hot pizza I had just paid £10 for! He gave a lame excuse as to why he couldn’t put it back in & was not happy - After 4 yrs of paying this this miserable man money for sometimes not nice cold food - I’d had enough and had to come home & put my pizza in my own oven - and again not that nice. My family ordered elsewhere as they don’t like da Vinci’s - I will be ordering with them next time & never going back to this miserable nasty vibe place

A firm family favourite and always our first choice for a takeaway treat. I'm a fussy pizza eater, loving only thin crust, not too heavy with fresh tasty toppings and Da Vinci's ticks every box. If you're looking for great value, you've found it. Big pizzas - brilliant for sharing, though we all insist on choosing our own and don't give up until we've finished! Great job guys, we love 'em!

Massive thank you to Tom and the rest of the Da Vinci’s team for all the many times that you have supplied food for our end of season dos for both football and cricket teams. Just amazing! This place used to be our favourite takeaway when I was child. So happy to rediscover it with my own kids! They beg for Da Vincis on every birthday or special occasion so that says it all. Food is always delicious and hot! Great choice of sides too. 😋

Had a take away last night and it was delicious, delivered nice and quickly so piping hot when it arrived. My husband’s pizza was really tasty and I had a burger which was amazing! Highly recommend!

Poor! Pizza taste of soap and was cold! There was hardly any toppings and it was under cooked! Cold chips and cold onion rings! Delivery wasn't too bad at 1h but as already stated......cold and soapy taste!!!!!! Will not use again

We ordered three pizzas and sides at 6 this evening. Nothing arrived until 7.35. When it arrived the whole order was wrong. We had pre-paid with a credit card. BIG MISTAKE. We ordered one without cheese due to allergies and that hadn’t been taken into account as they all arrived with cheese. NOT GOOD. We never leave these reviews, but feel so incensed by the quality of Holmfirth take-aways generally that we have now given up. Our advice, don’t bother because they have it too easy. Try harder please. ( And they asked for the wrong delivery to be returned, goodness knows where that’s going) We have been ordering from this business for over 20 years. So much for loyalty.

Had 2 Pizzas and both were disgusting, just been told this take away only has a 1 food hygiene certificate. Not surprised. Absolute waste of money.

Have used this takeaway for the last 20 yrs and it is always the same. One good, three awful. Every time I give it another go it’s a nightmare. Cold, burnt pizza, wrong toppings, not enough topping and 1 hour to deliver just 5 mins away. Avoid at all costs as maybe it’s time for this place to admit defeat. Won’t be ordering again. Sorry want to support local business but you are just shamefully awful.

Been a few times now for takeaways and can say these are pretty good all round. Doesn’t take a long time to order and receive deliveries too and delivery people are always decent pleasant types not the scruffy miserable Herbert’s other local companies employ.

Ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered at 18:30 via the website, £2.00 for the privilege of the pizzas being delivered 40 mins late and stone cold. Not as much as an apology for the lateness or a reason why. Not the first time this has happened and will be going elsewhere in future for my pizzas.

Ordered da vincis pizza, calzone, burger and the special fries. The calzone was burnt at the sides as was the pizza. The burger was lovely, salad fresh. The only downside apart from the burnt bits was the special fries. Its a no from me they were tastless and lacked cheese. Would order from here again if nowhere was open.

Fantastic pizza, me and my family have eating from Da Vinci's since it was a tiny hut on Hollowgate. The pizza's are absolutely great, all sides are equally as good, salads are very fresh and so good even our 'discerning' mother loves them and the chili con carne is an especial favourite.

This is my regular pizza take-away which I use frequently. The food is excellent and delivery is swift.

Sorry to say this place has really gone downhill with the quality of its food. We have been ordering from here for years now but lately the pizzas are hit and miss at best. Half the time they are so soggy they are hard to eat and tonight’s pizza was completely inedible due to this. Not cool when they are expensive meals. Sad to say we won’t be using da Vinci’s again.

Ordered last Sunday and the food took just short of an hour to be delivered. I do realise it could be busy at this time. However when the food did turn up it was luke warm at best. It was as though the food had been prepared when I called and then just sat there waiting for a delivery driver to be available. Along with the food not being warm it was very overpriced. Phoned an order for 2 pizzas and some cheesy chips at 7.10, still not arrived a hour and half later so had to phone to ask where the order was. The pizza was nice once we got it but the cheesy chips were cold, at over £21 I expected better.

Without a doubt the best pizza takeaway in Holmfirth. Really there isn't a match and surprised abour some of the mixed reviews. I'm pizza fanatic and regular customer. Go XL and enjoy.

Ordered 2 pizza’s for delivery, came to £20 with delivery and tip for driver so expected good things.Firstly the topping was great, plenty of it and lovely and tasty. The problem was with the dough base, mine was very doughy as if not cooked for long enough, when I picked a cut piece up it just flopped about so I looked underneath and the dough wasn’t coloured at all, in the words of bake off it had a soggy bottom, which was a shame because the rest was fab. We’ve always had pizza’s from here and always been great but on this occasion not so

We stayed in Holmfirth for 2 weeks and had dinner from Da Vinci’s several times. The burgers were large and juicy, the salads were fresh and generously portioned, the chips were lovely and my husband believes he had one of the best pizzas he’s ever tasted! - & we have eaten a lot of pizza around the world.

If your looking for the best pizza it's Da vinci's fact mouth watering toppings I always go for the margherita though as its my personal favourite the staff are always very friendly , it certainly puts dominoes and pizza hut to shame and is also cheaper. You can also get 16inch pizzas if your feeling hungry. Then agin if you fancy a change the pasta dishes are worth a try just as good as the pizza and will not disappoint!

Good quality pizza every time. If you like your pizzas more akin to what you'd get in Rome than what you'd get in New York, then this is the place for you. My go-to pizza is the Rostino (add extra chilli for something extra special!).

My partner and I along with our friends always order from here, and they provide excellent customer service and if you have any preferences of it being delivered they will. I was on my own once while my partner and his friends were on a manly night out - as a rule I don't open the door to anyone after we were broken into a few months ago. So the delivery man happily posted my pizza, salad and chips threw the window :) The food always arrives hot and it's all very yummy :)

We used to order Da Vinci's a lot when we lived in Holmfirth. Menu is great, the pizzas, calzone, mozerella sticks and chips are all great.Ordered from here again on a recent visit to Holmfirth after a night out and wasn't disappointed. Food is really great. Far, far better than the other disappointing takeaways in the town centre.

Last three orders I've placed here has come with problems. First time we had items missing and one pizza was totally wrong, second time waited well over an hour for food and kept being told it was on it's way, third time didn't turn up at all. Basic common sense is lacking from one of their staff. Will not be using again!

Da Vinci's has been around for ages, and there's a good reason for that, they know what they're doing. Admittedly on the pricer side of your normal takeaway, but as far as I'm concerned, you pay a premium for a premium, and I've never been disappointed.

Order here most weekends, although it is busy they deliver our food within the hour and are informed if it is extremely busy it will take longer and collect it within 20 minutes. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Favourite take away in huddersfield by far.

Da Vinci's do great pizza at great prices - better than any of the franchises e.g. Dominos etc. Better than a lot of restaurant pizza's too. Consistently good value!

A decent take away pizza. Not the normal fat laden chain pizza rubbish. Tend to be a little dry (but that's the penalty for low fat health I suppose). If they had a wood oven / thin authentic Italian base with the same toppings they'd get 5 stars.

Straightforward English pizza - there's now't italian about this cooking, but if it's Pizza Hut/Dominos sort of pizza you're after, but much better value and made well, then this is the place. Have ordered from this place in the past and it has been OK, however this evening what a disaster. They promised to have the food to us "within the hour" and it was eventually delivered 90 mins later, after 2 phone calls to chase up. The pizza was cold, as were the sides, and the pizza itself was soggy and the toppings were from processed and plastic-ey meats. Awful. We were discounted on the price of the delivery - after I had complained - but will not be ordering from here again - too much choice locally to accept bad product and service.

Hard to find fault with a locally owned and run establishment, using local produce to create consistently top quality pizzas (and the lasagne and chilli are pretty darned good too!)We've tried several different pizzas from the extensive selection but my personal favourite is the thin crust Quattro Formaggio which packs a real cheese punch.In the interests of "balance" I'll make one suggestion - bring back the Chilli Devil Bites, a seriously moreish starter!Service is quick and friendly and the delivery service punctual - what more could you ask for?In an age of soulless carbon copy franchises with bland low price/quality choices, it's good to find a local business that delivers consistent quality and service!
