Pizza Cucina in Kirklees

Excellent food but dismal delivery times. Thought I'd try them again but an hour on still no food. Very disappointing. Baked potato with beans eventually arrived, cold and smothered in cheese which I didn't order as I'm lactose intolerant.

I paid £53 for a load of crap cold pizzas and chips ordered at 7.15pm delivered at 21:00 If you can't deliver on time don't BS CUSTOMERS @!@ NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN Look at the photos apparently they think.its ok to mess CUSTOMERS about!!!! I have the receipt to prove this

Food cold when arrived, tasteless, poor experience would not recommend and would not return

Most disgusting thing I have had called a Calzone. Just thick bread wrapped around some mush. I accidentally ordered from here having walked in before which was an equivalent experience.

Ordered takeaway at 9pm. It's now 11.41pm still no food. Rang the place twice who assured us food was on it's way which was a lie obviously.

A piece a cake when I spend £50 wow

I’ve always enjoyed the food from here, but I won’t be ordering again. With an extortionate delivery charge, I’d expect that my food wasn’t delivered late on multiple occasions. Also have to agree with other reviews about the Aldi coke. Such a shame.

However many times you place an order with this lot they never ever deliver within the timescale they confirm - extortionate delivery charge you would expect delivery to be on time - not good enough at all. Food cold.

Can’t beat that Indiana jones pizza, food was so lovely we had traveled from london and this was the best pit stop to grab dinner in hudds. Totally recommend, very polite and great value n service.

Food cold, missing drink, missing jalapeno bangers

I have ordered from Pizza Cucina many times, and found them to be excellent. They are my local pizza place when I visit Huddersfield. With their deep pan pizzas they have an deep base AND DEEP TOPPINGS. Unlike my experience at Pizza Hut where deep pan pizza is mostly a thick base with very thin topping. It is like eating bread! FYI, I always go in person, to Pizza Cucuna and collect the pizza. I order the medium Indiana Jones pizza (Chicken with Indian spices, and vegetables) for £11. Good value for money. Pizza is made freshly in 15 minutes. Delicious hot pizza.

Food cold when arrived , had to reheat it , chips were cold and not crispy . The Aldi cola though surely not legal to sell from multipacks plus disappointing the price to pay for it !!!

Hi guy's. One day I was on a break parked on New hay ROAD Huddersfield. Was feeling hungry, called Pizza Cucina placed an order 11 Inch Asian style £11. Can of BARR cola £3. £0.50 delivery charge was park near 608 not far. Pizza was 2 out of 10 everything was falling off half went in bin. Delivery driver did not have correct change came back after 7 minutes with my £5 change. Never again. Waste of money......

Submitted order at 7.30pm. Message received saying food due at 8.15pm. Rang restaurant at 8.40pm to find food hadn't set off. Arrived after 9pm lukewarm!

Food estimated to be delivered between 19.05-19.25 and came at 20.30. We really like Cucina and food was great but the delivery estimate time was way out tonight.

But why do you always use the Italian name to sell your halal stuff, defacing our name? The food you sell is not Italian, just look at the photos and you are not Italian. Do you think you are credible? The problem is that the English then think that this is real Italian food, tarnishing the name of Italy.

Entire order ended up being binned Garlic bread was so hard not even edible handy for using as as frisbees Pizza tasted like it had been in contact with chillies in the puree sauce was so spicy ended up in bin . Requested no tomatoes in burger due to allergies , tomatoes were added so ended up in bin with fries that were rock hard not even edible either . Forgot the bolognaise had to ring and told when driver gets back will send it out whenever he’s back, so kids missed out with waiting for over an hour, has gone down in food prep so fast is a shame safe your money and get from elsewhere , I have them bent of doubt before but same issues keep occurring not worth the money at all given only down road delivery cost is complete rip of aswell. May aswell throw money down drain.

I like the food but it’s a bit mad to give me a aldi brand Can drink and a Aldi own Diet Coke bottle which was £3? I was expecting the proper brand

Horrendous order. No sizing differences between large & medium. Sauces etc missing. Barely any chicken just sauce slapped on a kebab! Poor by all standards.

Collection time said 19:55 - i arrived at 19:54 and it was ready (app didn’t say it was) and the food was very cold so had clearly been ready for some time.

Food was OK but delivery was 20min late, large kabab was very small, but the worse bit was charging £3 for cola and then delivering 49p aldi cola. Last time I will get delivery from there.

I've ordered from here many times, and usually their food is great, but when my food arrived late, the 'stay-crisp' fries were like warm and not at all crispy, and my thin & crispy pizza was rather doughy and felt undercooked.

I’m embarrassed to have paid £12 for a pizza, god only knows how they feel selling it.

Do not use this place under any circumstances. They lie about delivery times and continue to lie when chased up. I ordered pizzas and was told they would be between 40 and 50 minutes. I have since rung 5 times and have been told they are on their way. An hour and three quarters on I am still waiting. Arrived at last and the driver was very apologetic. About £4 was knocked off the bill but still cost me £30. Back inside the pizzas were luke warm at best so had clearly been in the car for some time. To make matters worse the crusts and underside of one of our pizzas was burnt. I wouldn't have minded if they were honest about being understaffed and the long delivery time. At least I could have made an informed choice about whether to order or not. To make matters worse, I had a similar experience twelve months ago but decided to give them another chance. Not again.

Had been on a long drive and got back late. Lovely staff, the pizza was really good, no faff, was made in 10 minutes

They sent me a wrong order, I complained then they said that they will send my order again but never happens!!

Absolutely terrible , each revised delivery time wasn’t met, called the takeaway twice response unhelpful and eventually turned up 2 hours late. The pizza looks lovely and the delivery person was pleasant but the delivery time and customer service in between was unacceptable

I used to be a regular customer 6 yrs ago, item was ok but noticeably not as good quality. Still a very good takeaway..

Ordered my usual 12in crispy margherita pizza which is normally lovely. But tonight it wasn't a crispy base, the pizza base was thick and the cheese wasnt fully melted. You could see the single pieces of grated cheese across the pizza. Normally pizza's from here are my favourite but tonight it didnt taste the same as normal and I'm very disappointed !!

Didn’t get some of the order and paid £6.95 for it.

Food arrived in 20 mins I knew straight away that it must have been rushed and it was, so disappointed payed £36 for a pizza and chips which is pricey but thought would be nice and worth it, what a waist the pizza was undercooked and all the topping had fallen of it this has happened before but decided to give them benefit of doubt won't ever be doing that again.

Ordered food at 8 was delivered at 1030. Was cold on arrival. Really disappointed and we won’t be ordering again unfortunately.

Regular customer and usually happy but today the quality wasn't good the pizza was cold and we ordered mac and cheese was just alot of sauce wasn't even like a mac n cheese

One kebab had 4 pieces of meat in it. The rest was salad and pita bread. This was one of the worst orders we have received from you and we order often. We may not be ordering again.

The kebabs were swimming in grease tasted like it too wasn't edible . Pizzas tasteless gone downhill this place its happened more than once.

Collection time was quicker than just eat stated. All the food was red hot, and tasted amazing!!

The food , sadly, for the second time in my experience was virtually inedible. Chose the Romano Calzone as I have done on other occasions ( when the rating would have been much higher) . The filling was very nice but the pizza part was soggy, chewy and not at all doughy. A great disappointment and unfortunately it has put me off . I shan't be returning

VERY DISAPPOINTING. As a regular customer our calzone romarnos were dreadful. The filling was nice, the outside was burnt and chewy. Threw most of it away, sadly.

Went there after a long. I have to say that this is the best pizza I have ever had. Not over burden with toppings and you can taste all the toppings with the best thin and crispy base. Definitely go there again and highly recommend

Ordered from Deliveroo, delivered 40 mins later than the specified time and was stone cold. I doesn’t look very appetising to be honest, even when I reheated it. Straight in the Bin!! Do yourself a favour, order a Papa John’s or Domino’s.

Slightly disappointing this evening. Pizza was a bit overcooked & dry, almost burnt in places. The Mexican fries were just fries, some bolognese and some jalapenos - no onion, peppers or cheese as described on the menu. Would order again as I'm hoping this was a one-off!

Wrong pizza sent this time but it’s the first time it happened and will definitely order again as mistakes can be made but food is always good.

when bought in store has been fine delivery very poor i’ve just payed 9.50 to get some cheesy chips delivered round the corner i’m pregnant so can’t walk round it took fifty minuets to come and is that soggy the box is wet through and the paper has stuck to the chips disgusting

I had a chicken Tikka pizza , it was a total disappointed , chicken curry and Tikka on the thin bread seems that someone just remember to put it when giving the parcel ....

The garlic bread was cold. We ordered chilli con carne and it was 90% sweetcorn, which isn’t what anybody would expect.

Ordered six pizzas at 6pm. Was told they would be 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I rang and was told they were on their way and would be 15 minutes. 20 minutes later I rang again to be told they would be 15 minutes. I said this was unacceptable and was was told that some extras would be included in the order. I said this wasn't good enough and was allowed a £5 to £6 off an order over £50. When the pizzas did arrive "the extras" was a bottle of Pepsi. The delivery driver apologised and said they were very busy. That's all very well but why say 45 minutes? If told the order would be 2 and a quarter hours I would have a choice, namely order or not. Come on Pizza Cucina. Got to do better.

The pizzas were not as good as they usually are. Ordered two different pizzas and couldn’t really tell the difference between the two. One was supposed to be spicy and had chillis on at all.
