I had the most delicious tasting brown seeded baguette. The filling was very generous, enhanced with fresh basil and the bread was freshly baked accompanied by a great decaf coffee and a mini panettone. Highly recommended.

Da Vinci deli is something of a local institution.Proprietor Vince combines some interesting Italian foods with excellent panninis and baguettes plus a small selection of Italian wine and very good salamis.His coffee reminds us thet Italy has a real talent for good coffee.As Christmas approaches more seasonal goods appear. Se volete provare una genuina atmosfera italiana, andate e Vincenzo vi farà sentire come a casa vostra, ma in Italia! L’accoglienza è calda ed amichevole, il locale è situato lunga una principale strada per il centro di Bath. Locale pulito, con posti a sedere esterni e in un grazioso giardinetto. Oltre naturalmente ad un vero espresso, la proposta di salumi e formaggi con contorni appetitosi e gli scaffali pieni di specialità originali italiane (pasta, olio, dolci, ecc.), vi offrono una scelta ricca e gustosa. I prezzi sono assolutamente nella normalità, considerando che tutto viene dall’Italia e rappresentano le migliori marche in commercio. Avere provato degli ottimi panini, bevuto una buona birra e avere amabilmente fatto delle chiacchere con i miei parenti e Vincenzo, mi ha fatto molto piacere ed ho passato un buon momento. Raccomandato!

Freshly made to order sandwiches with great fillings to eat in or take out and lots more in a well stocked Italian deli and great, friendly service. Definitely recommend.

We went to this deli every Saturday during covid lockdown and it was a highlight of the week. The baguettes are by far the best in bath, with freshly baked bread and delicious ingredients made with care by Vincenzo.

From the moment you walk in to this quaint and charming deli, you would be forgiven to think that you were somewhere in an Italian village. Filled with all the delicious goodies you'd expect to indulge in when on an Italian escape, all these treats are available for you here , in Bath. Delicious Italian coffee, all the pasta, sauces and sweets you can think of from Amaretti to Paneforte, not to mention the fresh olives, meats and cheese for the perfect Anit-pasti platter. Their fresh and fragrant filled baguettes at lunchtime are the best in town and I often find myself making the extra effort to go out of my way to the Bear Flat, just to be sure of a fresh and delicious lunch. The best part of the whole experience is Vincenzo, the Italian owner who is always there to offer good, honest, down-to-earth Italian hospitality, as vibrant and flamboyant as you would expect. Don't miss out on this one, the best kept secret in Bath.

The Deli is coping with the crisis. Opening hours have expanded a bit and coffee excellent. Nice range of Italian food. They can also order large olive oils etc. Good hygiene standards which are reassuring at present

The Da Vinci deli continues to be a local focus point.Good range of food and Vince still produces excellent coffee albeit dispoable cups for hygiene. Good standard of hygiene and eased parking restrictions helpful

Grabbed a panini and coffee to take away. Superb! Nice clean tidy place with plenty of choice. Will definitely return.

I visited Da Vinci today at 3.35pm twenty five minutes before it was due to close at 4pm. I was told no more coffee I am cleaning the machine. I was shocked and disappointed.

Italian deli at Bear Flat on the main road out of town towards Radstock. Friendly owner greets his regular customers as they walk past. It's a bit of a trek uphill from the centre Excellent espresso. I sat outside in the shade or the awning and watched the cars go by. Had I realised that there was a charming little garden round the corner, I would have liked it even more

Warm friendly atmosphere great service lovely coffee pleasant chit chat with a great selection of delicacies with service like this it is an asset to the area and should be supported by the locals, a great place to meet.

When I first walked in this charming Italian Deli, I instantly knew it was the real deal, and have been going there ever since. Being Italian myself I felt at home straight away, with the authenticity of the ingredients that it has to offer, the smell of the freshly baked Italian bread, the cured hams hanging from the ceiling and the smell of good espressos! The shelves are packed with amazing authentic Italian treats, and the large selection of the filled baguettes freshly prepared, are simply stunning and brings me back to my roots! This is also the place where you find all the locals at any time of day grabbing delicious Italian food or simply a coffee. Vince the owner is very friendly and has a particular talent in making everyone feel at ease and knows almost every customer by name. There is a real community and family feel here and that’s what also makes it so special, I couldn`t recommend it highly enough!

Step inside and inhale the delicious aromas of this wonderful little gem of a deli. Run by such hospitable hosts. It's little Italy in Bath!! You can either a coffee or a whole feast. Will be back again and again. Can't recommend highly enough.

Vince continúa hasta este acogedor Deli/café café Bear ofreciendo comida y conversación plana Hay 3 mesas en el interior y además fuera en días soleados. Gente siempre está dispuesto a compartir una mesa y un hablador. Algunos artículos de comida italiana en los estantes.

Una preciosa cafetería/deli de parada para un café recién hecho y sándwich antes (o después) un paseo subiendo la colina a Alexander Park, donde hay una espléndida vista panorámica de Bath. La tienda/cafetería es propiedad y está dirigido por Vince y Jo y si no encuentra lo que busca en el menú son muy complacientes. Un lugar pequeño pero muy acogedor para disfrutar de sustancia y allí o tomar con usted para hacer un picnic en el parque.

Este es uno de esos placeres inesperados en Bear plana. Un gran Deli italiano italiano productos con buenas pero que también hay una pequeña cafetería. Gran café fresco y buen Americano (genial) y luego la leche llena baguettes eran impresionantes. Pedí el jamón de Parma, mozzarella, albahaca y tomate baguette y fue una revelación. Después de tantos bocadillos esta era normal recién preparados, probado de mozarella, albahaca y levantado el espíritu.

La familia italiana que dirige este deli son siempre muy acogedores y servimos recién hechas, comida sencilla que es delicioso. Siempre puedo conseguir una opción vegetariana y mi marido disfruta de las sabrosas carnes italianos.

Muy pequeña con 4 mesas hermosamente deli. Llegamos al salir de ciclo pista para tomarse un café y tarta en el Bear (enfrente) pero estaba cerrado, así que ir a la tienda. Realmente me alegro haberlo hecho ya increíble magdalenas, pasteles y bebidas. El menú de comida también parece genial también (baquettes paninnis frescos y fuimos pasado). El personal era muy agradable y si vivimos cerca probablemente tienen una carne curado italiano hábito. Si no me ciclismo con los niños habría tenido un vino o una cerveza.

By chance we popped into this deli for a quick lunchtime snack and we are so glad we did. Gorgeous food, great atmosphere and a lovely experience. If you are going into the city from the Frome direction and are at Bear Flats/Wellsway - check out their coffee, pastry and panini ... Tuna melt was delish.

It's always a wonderful experience at Da Vinci's. Vince and Jo are incredibly welcoming hosts. The coffee is superb – be sure to try the excellent value pastry or muffin deals. They have a huge range of baguettes and paninis made fresh to order plus a great selection of cheese, olives, meats and Italian foodstuff. A great place to escape and revive!
