Friendly staff. Allo pratha 10/10. Feels like u r sitting in your home calm atmosphere

ABSOLUTE JOKE. Ordered a cookie dough which cost £7.90. It was the smallest cookie dough ive ever eaten i feel robbed of my money. I also ordered a milkshake with 12 toppings on it. They gave me 2 out of the 12 toppings. Also paid £3 delivery even though i live down the road from the shop and it arrived late. Never ever coming here again.

Terrible food! Cooked in a microwave. Will not be returning or recommending.

To put it nicely the food we ordered was unpleasant. Naan was hard and chewy like rubber, seems like it was cooked in a microwave. The meat was lukewarm, dry and tasteless, again probably cooked in the microwave. The star of the meal were the fries, hot and crispy. We left after chewing on a quarter of the food, if that. Mentioned to the lady behind the counter about the issues who didn’t seem to surprised!

Went in for an ice cream with the family and a drink. The ice creams were bought out at different times THEN the drinks were bought out.the smell of fried food also detracted from the experience.

Had a best kebab doner 🥰the food and staff service is very good and we always prefer to go in this place every time when we feel hungry thank you to staff for such a great food🥰

Ordered 2 sundaes, 1 waffle and 1 crepe and a kebab pita.🍨🧇🥞🥙 Sundaes were really tasty, big portions and filling! 👍🏽 Waffle best item on menu! ⭐️ Crepe was really bad one of the worst I’ve ever had DO NOT recommend! ☹️👎🏽🙅🏽‍♂️ Kebab pita was good and tasty but small portions. 👍🏽🤏🏽 DO NOT purchase extra toppings I ordered extra strawberries which costed £1 and didn’t even receive a full strawberry. 😅 Finally bathroom is interesting there is a very dirty towel which you need to use to dry your hands no paper or air drier also no lock on door handle. However restaurant is beautifully decorated and staff are kind! 😊

It was our first visit & we had to wait a while for our food and it came at different times. Think we took them by surprise as there were 3 of us & only 1 member of staff. But it was very friendly & the food was good. We will be returning and recommend it too.

We ordered a biryani takeaway and it was mouth watering and with all the familiar tones of correct amount of spices and topped with chicken mince egg omlet. It was great tasting biryani I have had tasted in Bedford. I would recommend other choices of Asian food as well. Next time we are going to try the Breakfast menu.

Really friendly and helpful staff whilst I was being super indecisive over my milkshake choice given all the wonderful options! Have tried a few shakes and a burger and chips and all was lovely! Quick and timely service with a friendly helpful attitude! I wish the business all the success as it’s a great little spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a sweet treat!

I had a lovely experience eating at DG Grill. The food was delicious and nice. You can try it too.

Food was amazing..juicey burger and doner meat was filling. Great customer service always happy to see u. Plenty of food. Keep up the great job... Look forward to my next free icecream hope it can be a milk shake next time hehe 😄

First time ordered he took over an hour and was wrong Ice cream and crepe was cold despite only living 2 minutes up the road/ ordered a month later got here very fast only ordered ice cream this time different delivery man seems one guys fast and one’s very slow slowly redeeming themselves one sundae which had cake in it had really dry cake was not nice not gonna order from again since this is the 2nd time somethings been messed up

Hm. Weird place. I was excited to go there and try the ice creams. I thought it is just ice cream. We went there just about lunch time after a long walk and we were quite hungry so it was nice surprise to discover that they do serve food. 1st of all it's cash only- which most of the times annoyes me as I don't carry cash and use my card for everything. It iritates me. Lady who was serving us told me to go to BP to take some money out. But it happened that I had some cash which is very rare occasion, have I went out to take money out I would probably not come back. Now I want to highlight that there is noone else apart form us 3 in the restaurant. There are 19 seating spaces in. Toilet is for staff only according to the sign (surely right with the regulations and law ai?) 2. We ordered small portion of chips for my daughter as she didn't want anyting else, chicken wrap kebab with fries, and gourmet burger meal. 3. Whatever I actually wanted wasn't available yet the menu suggests that it is. I wanted mirinda-no they have fanta. Why writing mirinda?! 2 different tasting drinks. I wanted pistachio ice cream none available. Whatever. OK we made the order. Sat down and waited quite a while. My daughter was gutter a small slushy from the man who walked in at some point and he was doing deliveries. That was a nice gesture. Sooo we still waiting. Me and my daughter got the chips. She's happy I'm not becuase where is my kebab?! My other half didn't get his burger yet. I'm mostly done with my chips and not actually hungry anymore... My husband got his burger. His chips were clearly cooked with ours but delivered when burger was ready so they are half soggy and cooled down. I still didn't get my donner. I have 7 chips left. I don't care anymore. My kid happy as Larry drinking her slushy and dipping her chips in it weirdo. Lady brought her ice cream in I said no, we haven't even finish our food plus where is my kebab?! Ice cream after. She took them back. My man nearly done with his burger and looking quite content. My kebab showed up. My wrap should have cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, onion tomato, pickled chilli and garlic sauce. Erm it didn't. It was cut in half which is OK. In each half there was and trust me I opened and checked: 2 slices of onion not the whole round slab but like to strips of one layer of onion, HALF a cucumber slice and some lettuce. I asked the lady what the hell?! She said that the cucumber is in there I said yeah exactly one slice but where is the cabbage tomato pickled chilli?! She said sorry. Garlic sauce tasted more like sour cream which was standing next to bunch of garlic in the fridge and got a bit of scent. Not actually garlic flavour. Yeah. That was very poor kebab. Flavour nothing special. Delivery very poor. Serving lady was polite. Ice cream. Well... There's ice cream and there's ice cream. Those are the lesser one. You can taste that powder... Plus lady is clearly not listening. I said I want pistachio there wasn't any ok so I chose strawberry scoop and oreo scoop. He specifically said pu lt strawberry in the cone first and oreo on top. I recieved it the other way around with oreo at the bottom and strawberry on top. I had to switch them around. What does it matter I can hear you asking? That's what I requested. As a paying customer who paid. With cash and didn't receive my VAT receipt. So yeeeah. Oh we haven't had any utensils! We had to ask for spoon. We didn't bother with knife and fork.... Yeah I won't be back.

I’ve ordered around 5 times now. Depending on the staff serving will depend on the topping amount you get - it seems to be hit and miss. I recently ordered 3 waffles (£7.75 each). The Bueno waffle only had 4 chunks of chocolate - not even half a bar of chocolate. My daughter usually gets the biscoff one and this evening has been the least amount of topping. This is the second time we’ve had a poor amount, so hoping next time it may improve. They are served in their own individual boxes, and I like that the ice-cream comes in its own pot too. There’s also confusion as I’ve paid by card multiple times, but was told this evening it is now cash only (there are no signs stating this). When i couldn’t get cash out of the nearby machine, they did accept card but said next time I must pay in cash 🤷🏻‍♀️

Had the best chicken biryani, cappuccino, Shish kebab and slush. Amazing presentation and so tasty and great flavours! Service was lovely they were so nice! Will be back soon can’t recommend highly enough

Kebab feom microwave, desserts very good but kebab and customer service are terrible, had to remain them few times to bring me what I ordered because all the time was something missing.

First time order so slightly disappointed that none of the extras I chose were included on any of the 3 milkshakes ordered. Phoned several times to ask why but they never answered the phone

The catering was exceptionally well done as you get a free complimentary ice-cream as well as what I ordered - a banana crepe with chocolate sauce - was professionally made and was made with speed and precision.

0 review if I could! Ordered on the website, two hours later after chasing it twice to be told driver on the way twice in the space of an hour and still no order. Very rude women who kept cutting the call off each time, didn’t listen and just kept saying driver on way even when we requested a refund and to cancel as it was over 2 hours later. Don’t bother unless you want to wait ages for your food and get no customer service!

We always used to order from creams in town but we decided to try D gelato as he is round the corner. Haven’t been back to creams since! (this was a year ago) Amazing delivery timescales and always hits the spot. Num 43. Thank you!

Amazing desserts with such a variety. ordered the cookie dough and two waffles, both waffles were soft and warm when arrived and the cookie dough was gooey and chocolatey. Amazing!

Generally pretty good! Decent value and such, However the carrot cake is just a single slice taken from a larger costco carrot cake, not made or prepared in any way by them which isnt ideal.

Got a leaflet through the door so thought we’d give it a little go. Ordered a white chocolate and strawberry waffle with chocolate ice cream and the misses had a strawberry crepe. Order came a they were very honest and let us know we had over paid as it’s free delivery if you order over the phone, the man that delivered was very apologetic and friendly. Waffle was banging and ice cream was lovely, wish I ordered two, the ice cream that came with the meal was like a mr whippy style vanilla in a pot, rock solid been pre made in pots to be given free with meals would be fine if it was fresh and not rock solid, Misses liked her crepe but found as she worked through it all the toppings and sauce was on top and didn’t run through so the bottom couple layers where it had been folded were abit claggy. Will order again with the info I now know.

If I could give 0 stars I would… ordered via Uber eats at 7:42 on a Sunday night… estimated time 8:10-8:30.. 8:30 rolls around and nothing.. called and finally On the 4th try someone answered said they would call driver and call me back…. No call back… I called again and 2nd lie came around with something about waffle iron I wasn’t interested just wanted the order cancelled and refunded.. wouldn’t even waste your time never again will order and will most certainly be telling people to avoid.. was meant to be a treat before my son returning to school and it was ruined. I work in the hospitality industry and this was shocking terrible customer service if you can’t provide the product and level of service you’re in the wrong industry! Fingers crossed I actually get a refund and don’t have to chase like I did my Order!!!!

Yesterday I had Nutella plus one waffle and I enjoyed it so much and I got crepe for my friend they are the best dessert I think one of the best desserts I had

Ordered with 35 minute delivery estimate, 1 hour and 40 minutes later still no sign of the order. Called the restaurant and was met with an incredibly rude woman who constantly spoke over me and interrupted every sentence. She said the driver was outside, when I said he definitely wasn't, she then said he was 10 minutes away. Then she said it was late because he was new and couldn't work the app, then it was because he couldn't find the address, then it was because the car had broken down. Lie after lie. I asked to cancel the order, she said she'd cancel it and refund us in 2 weeks because she was making other orders. Disgusting customer service. Even if you have genuine issues that are making the order late, that's fine and these things happen, but have the courtesy to let your customer know and be polite. Especially if the order will be over an hour late!

Ordered to collect, got really confused as its a residential location, rather than a shop. Knocked at the correct time according to my order and the person who answered looked really confused, then someone else came and said they only just got my order so wait for 10-15 mins. 15 mins later he came and delivered to my car, but dropped £5 as I gave it to him but shut the door before I had a chance to say. Then came back asking for £5 extra, I couldn't find the £5 on the floor anymore so gave up and gave him £20 Total instead so got a tip. Confused as not windy so no idea where the money went?! No signs saying where to go, and the website had the option to book a table, no idea where though as its a house. Waffle was OK, quite dry, sundae was best bit really but choc brownie was just choc cake. Such a shame as I'd heard good things from people ordering via delivery apps.

If I could give a zero star rating, I would arrived later, then was told when I rang to ask where my order was the lady acted as if she was a gangster. Telling me to chill and it’s calm down. It’s on its way and it won’t be cold. However when it came the sauce was hard the waffle was cold and also tasted like cake. Definitely the worst desert place in Bedford I would not recommend at all

just ordered today milkshare went there and we were told to come back after 20minutes and we came back after the staff called us then he got the wrong order , obviously he did not understand what we were ordering when we got home milkshake is already watery no longer a milkshake. poor customer service

Ordered for the first time tonight, great service and the desserts turned up well packaged, ice cream still frozen. We also got the chance to try some food from their new venture (grill food) and really enjoyed it! A lovely surprise and we can't wait to order again ☺️

Second time ordering, presentation is beautiful, service is great and desserts are delicious and very reasonably priced compared to others. Would highly recommend!

Confirmed order through uber eats and was told the order would arrive by 20.50. Called around 21.12 and was told that the driver left 5 mins ago. At 21:40 I called the uber eats contact ( call restaurant) option that was just ringing over and over. Called them just after on the land-line and call was answered immediately. Not great service I had to chase them and would not have been annoyed if they had not told me the driver left 5 mins ago at 21.12. Disappointed and let down on a week day not like this was the weekend / Friday night.

All services and food was amazing, the presentation was also fantastic, couldn't fault them and 100% recommend, deserts to die for, I'm in heaven right now, can't wait for next order, thank u so much Stacie Fowler

First time ordering and we were not disappointed!!! Two slushes that were flavoursome and had not melted at all despite living the otherside of town. My son ordered the hot fudge waffle and my husband white chocolate cookie dough. Gorgeous and enough for us all to share abit of each others. Delicious flavours and speedy delivery. Service with a friendly face. Will be ordering again

D gelato is easily the best dessert place in Bedford possibly Bedfordshire!!! So much options and good prices definitely recommend

Won't be ordering from here again. Ordered through UE at around 20:10 with an estimated delivery time of no later than 21:00, 21:10 rolls around and no order yet, strange for a delivery to be late on a Wednesday evening, not exactly peak time? We rang the restaurant 10 minutes later and were informed it was on its way, it's about a 10 minute drive from the restaurant to our house and yet it took another 30 minutes to arrive? Clearly hadn't made our order until we rang them yet we were lied to on the phone. When it eventually came at nearly 10 at night we attempted to eat what we had, the milkshake I ordered was clearly not blended properly as it was way too thick to even go up the straw, I ended up eating it with a spoon, not much of a milkshake. The side order of ice cream my wife ordered was also wrong, we ordered banoffee and plain vanilla came instead. Many other good dessert places around Bedford, I would advise using another one and give these a miss.

Exceptional service, delivery driver was so friendly. The food itself was amazing. We had two variety’s of the cookie dough as and neither disappointed. Packaging also impressive, absolutely faultless.

We were invited to try out a dessert from D Gelato. Ordered the kinder bueno milk crepe with ice cream & a calypso drink. The crepe arrived warm and drink ice cold. Ice cream hadn’t melted too much. Crepe & ice cream were delicious! Plenty of toppings and tasted great. Service & delivery both really good. Can’t wait to order again. Thanks D Gelato ✌🏽
