Lovely cafe in this nice neighborhood. Very friendly staff and nice vibe. Latte a bit too hot by my standard.

Nice place. Lovely staff. Note their prices are well out of date to their website. Panninis are about 150% the price that their web menu shows.

Breakfast was cooked well, good speed.. Service was good.

Been here a few times when worked in the area. It's a nice, clean, welcoming place, with delicious food, cakes and coffee. The staff were always friendly and helpful, with smiles on their faces. I can not recommend the place enough, I will visit again when I'm in the area!

What a lovely experience came into for a coffee and a slice of cake as you do and the assistant was a pure delight she told me her name was Megan , the owner was so lovely too asking how my day was and could she get me anything else. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our first visit to The Eatery. The food was tasty and the produce of good quality. The service was a little slow and we had finished our drinks before the food arrived. Also, the chips were brought to us in advance of the main order which was not ideal. However, the staff were polite and the atmosphere good.

Lovely little place. Very welcoming with a good selection for brekkie. Slightly more expensive than other places but lovely quality food, so worth it. Only thing is that it was freezing in there and had to sit with my coat on! The fire door at the back was propped open so it was soo cold! But otherwise a lovely visit

I love coming here - the girls are welcoming and I love their coffees! Always feel welcome even on a busy day.

This place was excellent. Food was very delicious, very fresh and made to order. The atmosphere was really nice and the cafe was very clean. Homemade bakery treats were delicious too. Prices were very good value for money

Coffee shop I visited on my travels. Quite busy. Had to wait over 15 minutes for a coffee, which is a long time in my experience. The staff were pleasant. I would go back but give myself a lot longer next time.

Great little cafe with a fab menu. Food can take a while when it's busy but worth the wait.

The food here is good but in my opinion over priced. The price of the veggie breakfast is £9.95 but this only includes one slice of toast cut in half so it looks as though you have 2 pieces of toast. Given the actual price of a loaf of bread, I don't think it would impact their bottom line too much to add another slice of bread. Likewise the Linda McCartney sausages which cost 30p to buy. The service was friendly but the atmosphere wasn't great.

Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for taking such good care of us! Finding welcoming spaces to take the babies is often difficult and we couldn't ask for a friendlier team! The highchairs are great, the baby change is brilliant and stocked with helpful essentials- the overall environment is also just lovely. The food is yummy and the brownies are the best! We come every week and feel lucky to have such a brilliant place nearby- thank you all.

Pleasant enough place but to wait 15 minutes for one iced black Americano was ridiculously slow, didn’t even feel that busy. Service all round disappointing, unfortunately.

Lovely café! Friendly staff, cheap but GREAT TASTING coffee, no extra charge for non-dairy milk, lovely atmosphere and seating, free WiFi, plus the added bonus of a loyalty card - what's not to love? There is a wide variety of options on the menu in terms of drinks and food, including a full veggie English breakfast, plenty of cakes and sweet treats, and vegan choices too (including samosas and 'sausage' rolls!) Definitely the better café in Great Denham and so worth the 5 minute detour from the park!

had a 5 star British fish and chips with a top notch quality fry up. Bangers and mash for breakfast always fills Alan Gayter's belly after a day of being on the run. It lacked any British culture too it though.

Had our first and last meal here today. We only went in as I'm pregnant and had a turn and realised I hadn't had breakfast. It looks nice and is designed well but that's as good as it gets. I can only assume you're paying for the location as the food we had was not worth the price. Went in with our 3 year old and got a table straight away. Limited range available but all looked fairly standard with paninis, bagels, sandwiches and a fry up. On the pricey side I thought as £5 for a tuna sandwich but i expected something pretty tasty that I couldn't make at home and that's what makes the difference. Anyway my partner went to pay, they took the order and money and THEN told him it would be a wait as yet. Didn't specify how long until my partner said 20 mins is ok but if it's an hour we're off. To which someone then said 20 mins. Instantly put him in a bad mood as we should have been given that info before handing over our money. If we had known we'd of likely went away as our little one wouldn't wait that long. Luckily we had a game for her in the car so went and got it and it kept her occupied. After the half hour wait I was praying the sandwich was amazing. It was a massive disappointment. Advertised as tuna mayo and cucumber on white and it really was a sad Looking plate. Cheap bloomer bread and a tuna mayo mix that's likely out of a tub with no cucumber. A really sad little pile of side salad that's pre packed from a salad bag (very obvious by the strings of dry beetroot and carrot) with a splash of balsamic vinegar with one piece of tomato the size of a 20p. Not even a fresh salad and it tasted like it sounds. My partner has a bagel with scrambled eggs and a long winded title to the bacon I cannot remember. Apart from the bagel itself looking cheap and flat the filling looked nice to me but apparently the eggs were bland and the title the bacon had was not deserved. Total waste of money and time for us. Maybe it's better for a coffee and a cake but who knows. We won't be back and i like to give places a second chance. I Could have made a more appetising meal at home and not had to wait. Lesson learned. Just go to Sainsbury's instead. Would not recommend it at all.

Very busy when we went and struggled to find a place to sit down 2 of us. They did warn us that there would be a delay in the service. Veggie breakfast was nice. Enjoyed a brownie too. Reasonably priced

I am really disappointed, came in for a quick stop off to order a takeaway baguette for lunch. Was told when I ordered and paid £6 for a ham, cheese and salad baguette that there was “a little wait on food” which I said was fine and expected a 10/15 minute wait maximum as the shop wasn’t even at full capacity. After around 25 minutes I asked for an update as I had been waiting for so long only to be told again it would be another 10/15 minutes. When I finally received my food I had been waiting for over half an hour and wasn’t offered any form of compensation when I questioned why it had taken this long to prepare a cold baguette. I feel that for a price tag of £6 this just isn’t acceptable.

Definitely THE best coffee I’ve had in Bedford! They also do delicious food and tasty cakes too! Love this place for a family lunch or business meetings.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here - clean, freshly prepared food, great choice of teas, nice coffee, lovely staff. It was busy here when we visited, hence service was a little slow, but staff were lovely and we managed to get a table. Happy customers.

Visited The Eatery for the first time and was very impressed. Good service and good food. Had the full English breakfast. All items nicely cooked. Lovely. Will be back.

The eatery, where you can’t eat. Staff have zero customer service skills and made no effort to accommodate us. Waited over half an hour for a table with no communication or apology. Sat down, staff didn’t clear the table of mess from previous table so we did it. Nobody came over to let us know it wasn’t table service. Went up to order, only to be told it would be over half an hour wait for anything. Again no apology. Maybe hire some staff that can communicate?

This place do the best lattes i have ever tasted. I regularly by pass Starbucks and everywhere else to come here 😍 the bacon and eggs are absolutely delicious too! One of the very best places around 😍

Expensive for what it was but it was good quality. Requested to change tomatoes AND mushrooms for a hash brown and told it wasn't an equivalent switch...couldnt be bothered to argue with the 10 year olds serving us but this spoiled the morning a bit given how rediculous it is. Would come again on the basis it's the only cafe in GD

Looking forward to the menu returning to its better state. The current one is decidedly average. 'Pandemic reasons' is old as an excuse. Serving time is slow. Could have had 2-3 drink by the time our very basic sandwiches came out.

We've enjoyed a number of lovely brunches here - and always recommend it to friends/family. It can get busy quickly, so it's best to arrive early on weekends to secure a table. We love their avocado/poached eggs on toast, which is the best in Bedford! The selection of vegan cakes and sweet treats has always been great too. Sometimes you can be waiting a little while for the food but we don't mind waiting as we know it's worth it!

Arrived on a Wednesday afternoon, quite busy however managed to get a table for 6 in the corner. The decor is very pleasent and the toilet facilities are outstanding for children. The food is delicious and they have aptly decorated the cafe in Halloween decor. I would definitely recommened coming again. What a treat!

The owners have really attempted to give this place some character in a new build shopping unit. The food and coffee are good but not great. The decor is lovely and the staff are young and friendly

This is my favorite cafe. I’ve been coming here since I moved to Great Denham in 2019 and I love it here. The Hot Chocolate is my favorite drink & I really miss their Club Sandwich. The Baguettes are AMAZING. Service is always 10/10 and so is the ambiance. My boyfriend and I love coming here for Breakfast. Oh and the donuts on Fridays are realllyyyy good.

Took over 20 mins for a takeaway of 2plain coissants and a tea and a coffee absolutely hopeless didn't have a clue no idea of what was going on

Went for recent lunch visit before an appointment, tasty coronation chicken sandwich. Returned later that afternoon for a coffee too. Would recommend and return again. Parking available opposite.

During the pandemic I have had two birthday cakes from The Eatery. Both looked absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. Great friendly and efficient service too!

Last time had lovely Vanilla milk shakes. Today very little vanilla ice cream, just milk an only partway full. It's a shame. Maybe they don't like repeat customers... Stall were nice.

Hand gel at entrance, screens at counter. Not a massive menu, but choice of breads for sandwiches. Takeaway options available and minimal wait while it was prepared. Reasonable prices too.

I've lived in great Denham for two years and I'm ashamed to say this was the first time using The Eatery cafe but it certainly won't be the last! I missed the cut off point the day before for a takeaway roast dinner but I cheekily messaged on Sunday morning to see if they had any spares and fortunately for me they did and it was the Roast lamb I was really wanting! I brought it home and warmed it up following instructions on the tray, it smelled amazing just taking it out of the oven. Everything was beautifully seasoned and tasted amazing, probably the best roast dinner I've ever had and all in the comfort of my home. Would 100% recommend The Eatery and their lovely roast dinners!

Our order came out in the wrong order & with a slight error.They could’ve been apologetic or friendly about it but server seemed more interested to move onto his next job. Had two little one with us so didn’t bother making my point The lady on the till was nice though

Friendly local cafe. Good coffee. Nice atmosphere. Would get 5 stars but hollandaise sauce cold and definitely not home made. This something that needs to be made in house to make this popular dish great. Definitely popular locally but possibly resting on its laurels with little competition.

Over a 45 minute wait to get a sandwich! Had Club sandwich, bacon and chicken, came back home and had stomach pains all afternoon so either something not cooked right or the mayo isn't refrigerated. The sauces were on the side in the restaurant and when squeezed onto plate the mayo was very watery, so likely it was off. Won't be returning.

Visited for a post parkrun coffee and cake, which were good. We expected the understandably long queue and a wait for a table; however, did not forsee a 45 minute delay between paying and receiving our order, frankly appalling service. Will give it a miss next time.

This is a nice place to eat and drink. The coffee is good and the food is very tasty. However, service is slow and they bring out one drink at a time often leaving a 5-20 minute gap. I don't want to be sitting drinking my coffee and 10 minutes later my friend is still waiting for hers. Also food is left on the counter uncovered. I don't want to eat food that has been breathed on or spat on by other customers so I wouldn't buy it. Handy place though for residents of Great Denham.

Love the look and feel of this place. Very modern, warm and rustic layout with a simple menu and amazing coffee. The owner is passionate and this is reflected all around the place. The menu is a little pricey and servings on the smaller side but everything Ive had is cooked fresh and tastes really good. I really love it here and make excuses to drive out to visit.

Lovely place to eat or just have a brew. Home cooked to perfection. Breakfast is 5*. Been going every week for the last 5 weeks. Staff are very warm and welcoming. Child friendly.

Been here many a time. Service prompt and staff friendly. Come for the breakfast but stay for the delicious milkshakes and cakes.

We both had a cup of tea. I had a croissant. The lady had a sausage roll. £8.50? We were waiting 10mins. The croissant was microwaved and was disgusting. Never again.
