Curry hut in Sefton

Food is always banging, nice tender and full flavoured chicken. Can’t complain been about 15 times. Definitely recommend.

Used to frequently order from the curry hut but never again. The poppadoms soggy and could bend in half and not break (see photo) , onion bhaji burnt to a crisp (see photo) there was enough salt in the punjabi masala to sink a ship and the madras described as fairly hot was actually so hot, it was inedible and the garlic naan had never seen a clove in its life and was lacking any real flavour. I don’t know what has happened to one of my favourite places for a takeaway I will not be returning.

I can honestly say or should i warn STAY AWAY. It’s the worst curry i’ve had in a very very long time. It was dry, and the chicken was extremely tough, the sauce was so thick it looked like it had been scraped off the bottom of the pan, the sauce was on top of the chicken , it was dry underneath the chicken. As for the onion bhaji it was very doughy and burnt on the outside.My naan bread was supposed to be Peshwari naan , but it was plain with dried coconut thrown on top ? I will end this dreadful review on a high though, the chocolate fudge cake was delicious, it tasted like the one you buy at Costco.

Worst Indian I have ever eaten, swimming in oil burnt naan, they don't sell keema rice?? Really, I think this was a supermarket indian microwaved, in my opinion awful! Never again.

Vile food, swimming in grease. Borderline inedible it was so salty. £19 wasted. Did not bother to complain because I would not eat anything else from there. Should have know better as the time before was similar but put that down to a bad night. Shame, it used to be okay. Southport is dreadful for takeaways.

The food was absolutely awful, and it’s not something I’d give to the dog. Attached to this review is what arrived, the poppadom was basically melted and the curries were awful.

I Love a good curry , first time using The Curry Hut , was not disappointed , it was delivered hot , and was Delicious ! three different types of curry with Sundries , cannot fault at all will definitely order again .

First order out Saturday night, no rice supplied, I mean None out of 3, So I'll put all the other food in my own oven or open a couple of packs of micro rice? Not that these are any worse than the competition, the local shamrat supplied the last Indian I ordered without any sauces, If you can't do your job, don't open your doors...stay in bed.

We were staying in Southport on a family holiday from Scotland. We chanced our arm at this for a local takeaway and enjoyed so much we ordered three times during our stay. Food was fresh, portions big and the delivery times swift. Highly recommend the curry’s and kebabs!

This is our go to takeaway as they have such great variety to suit the whole family. The service is always fantastic and the meals are exceptionally tasty and consistently good quality and value for money. The Persian masala is a must have.

Ordered chicken kebab delivered Donna meat phoned up denied that they made a mistake meal ruined no replacement offered

Absolutely rubbish curries are vile, we were very regular customer but things has changed dramatically past few months, food is horrendous wont even feed my dogs,never again

Disappointing. Won't be using this take away again. The dansak was quite watery. The naan was cold on delivery (in a brown paper bag rather than foiled bag)

We have always had great food from here We ordered Nan breads which use to be nice and soft and fluffy tonight they were hard and chewy To top it off I ordered a tandoori mixed grill got half way into the chicken to find blood and raw meet My husband called them was offered another one we live 20 minutes from the shop so asked for a refund had paid by card was told we had to go pick up the cash So another trip tomorrow to get it

late delivery, cold food, bland tasteless and very rude staff, never again will I eat from here. Refused to mark as complete on just eat so we couldn't be refunded. Asked for food back which we agreed, maybe re sold to some other poor customer

great food great service meal hot. Only one thing when i ask for a tim i am finding my meal s coming far to early to my time i askd for. I understand your busy. I thing this needs to be looked at. and try and deliver the time stated with order. Thanks for all you do. I nthese hard times as well.

2 hours and 20 minutes later I don’t have my food. Unable to leave a positive review. Really disappointed in the service. It’s now 23:05pm I ordered the food at 21:00 a kebab at nearly midnight not very good. As I say still hasn’t arrived so will be claiming a dispute through just eat. It’s quite simple if you cannot and reading previous reviews where you have replied if you cannot Cope with the amount of orders and can’t provide a efficient delivery service to the customer for the sake of your business turn the just eat machine off rather than waste my time waiting for food that hasn’t shown up and doubt it will. Will be requesting refund through just eat terrible just terrible.

Food was delicious, I was a bit dubious as the menu seemed so vast from curry, pizzas to burgers ect. We ordered a curry each and sides and a burger for our daughter. It arrived early, hot and was the best curry I have had in quite a while. Definitely a must try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks Curry Hut, we will be back!

First time ordering from the Curry Hut and will definitely use them again as the food was delicious and one of the best tasting Kormas I’ve ever had. Delivery was later than indicated, however, I appreciate they must be very busy in the current circumstances so was not too bothered.

One of the best burgers in Southport on my opinion But worst ever doner . It was so dry looks like it was left on some hot stuff or nearly fire and not a first time. Sometimes coming whole doner with many chip slice's not a long one piece like normally shoulde be. Should look on this Any way everything else is great.

Food piping hot and 15 mins early! The lamb and chicken were amazing, naans were very tasty. Onion Bhajis were tasty however they were a bit greasy! Will order again overall excellent!

Ticket was apparently lost so they was behind, could have at least sent a text to tell us this as we ordered around 3 hours before the time we asked for and it still came late.

Consistently good food. Very large portions and a varied selection on the menu from numerous Curries, kebabs and pizzas. Delivery available also.

Food was delivered 30 minutes early! Great as my daughter said she was "starving". She had a .9" pizza with pepperoni plus an additional topping of ham.and we both admitted that when we opened the box it looked fantastic So much so.I didn't get to try any. Not through want of trying. Didn't think my daughter would eat it all but she did. I had Chicken Dhansak. Not the best Ive had but still tasted good none the less. Chicken was moist though which was a plus. I also ordered Onion Bhaji with Mint Dip and received 2 instead of 1. :) Will be ordering from here again as its handy when one of us wants pizza and another wants a curry or kebab. Only think I would say is, I live in a flat and I said “I’ll be right down” best bet would be to wait for me downstairs rather than us miss each other in the lifts (like what happened)

Ordered donner kebab. The naan bread was both slightly burned and undercooked. This made it claggy and bitter. I simply couldn't eat it. Very disappointed as the reports I had from my partner last week said she really enjoyed it and I had really been looking forward to eating one.

U could see the grease all on me scran was rougher than me ex bird and yer keem naans what ever they r are lacking product going stingy on the mandingo ingredients! A still wolloped it tho because am a hefty kid

We have used The Curry Hut for Take Aways since soon after they opened. We order over the phone and they give us a collection time. Food is always or nearly ready well wrapped and put in a box for us as we are a family of six. All the staff are very pleasant. Food is excellent and a good price.. We live a good 15 to 20 min. drive away and we still use them. We used to live in Southport. They serve some of the best Indian food I have had in England. and abroad where curry is a National dish.

When I first ordered the chicken korma I was a bit disappointed as it was a proper dodgy colour but it tasted unbelievable. Never had curry from here but every part of the meal was lovely!

Food piping hot when it arrives and delivery is very quick, portions are very good I never manage to get through it oh and the Rogan Josh to die for I always order that.

Food was ok nothing special. Think I could cook something similar. No salad with starters.

No salad when asked for salad and wrong sauce on the kebab!!! Got given garlic mayo was put in bin
