Curry & Grill in Cherwell

Delicious hot food and some sauces and chips were in the bag as free extras. Large portions as well. We ordered 2 curries and 2 rice, but could have done 1 of each between us. Garlic naan was delicious and the mint sauce is devine.

The food was nice and the order came on time. Unfortunately I ordered 3 lamb Vindaloo’s but only received 2. The rest of the order was fine.

I’ve just experienced the most delicious korma from this take away. The flavour was balanced beautifully , perfect consistency, onion bajhis to die for and the free veggie curry was a lovely surprise. Service was very good and prices more than reasonable for such a fantastic meal. This place will definitely be our go to place from now on when it comes to Indian cuisine. Next on the agenda are their kebabs as they look and smell scrumptious.

Visited last week. I was shopping in Bicester village. Was looking for a good place to eat as I was very hungry and tired. Wow! Amazing value for money, which was large portions of well priced, delicious food. I'm one of those people that love Big portions, of the good quality is food. I was not disappointed. Curry was thick, flavourful and hmmmmm. Thanks!

Really good food but service not all that great. We placed an order for collection and went to pick up as directed 25 mins after placing the order. It wasn't ready and they asked for another 5-10 mins. Went back after 10 mins and waited another 5 minutes. When we got home one of the rice dishes we ordered was missing I phoned the Curry and Grill to let them know and they said they would send it over with their driver. It never arrived which was disappointing. Great food but check your order before accepting to make sure it's all there.

Great, great food. Read the menu, talk to the guys - they know their food and they cook great food (you can see them cooking!). I’m working through their specials and everything has been beyond delicious. Seriously, go now, and try their dishes. Top stuff.

ordered delivered takeaway. Took an hour. Food dreadful. Couldn't supply what I ordered - Old Delli Chicken, so delivered an alternative which thety said was similar. it was tasteless and very bland. Charged £2 for "FREE" delivery

Portion size is good. Flavour wise it isnt 'Indian'. Using chick pea flour in curries is not something that is standard practice in meat-based curries. If so you should mention it in your menu.

I had gone off Indian takeaway after too many bad ones from the restaurants in Bicester ! Tonight I was talked into trying Curry & Grill the food was hot and delicious good portion sizes the whole family said how good it was !! So pleased we tried it will definitely go again !

Great Indian! We were a large hen group in the area for the weekend. Really friendly customer service, food value and had gluten free options too. We made a big order and staff communicated well. Food was delivered hot and food was good quality. They even threw in a discount and a few extra bits for no cost. Thank you!

Best Indian in town, hands down. The Tandoori chicken, lam biryani, and naan are I sane good. Reall quality food. Stay away from goo plates and go for the whole, dry food Indian experience.

Chicken Tikka was very rubbery, full of water and very bland in taste. Chicken Biryani had no flavour at all. On the plus side, the chicken naga was very good.

I ordered large lamb kebab. The quantity was not adequate. It seemed like a regular size. I asked for mayonnaise but got tomato sauce instead. As a side, I chose mango chutney and did not get anything. Overall disappointed with this order.

Good curry, tikka wasn't spicy at all though and had raisins in it. Coconut rice was really good, huge poppadums and tasty naan. Don't think you should have to pay extra for poppadum sauces though. Extra bombay potatoes was a nice touch. Would order again after trying a few other local options.

The lamb tikka biryani was absolutely fine, so was delivery, however, the cucumber raita was not even raita. No effort was made to make it raita. It was just plain yogurt + cucumber slices. Disappointing.

The BEST curry I've had in bicester by far! Fresh hot and so many tasty flavours. I had the chicken tikka masala, pila rice my partner had mixed kebab with skewers everything was freshly made and full of amazing flavours. Normally a tikka masala is quite bland and boring at times ... not this one!!!!! A little bit pricey but when you taste it it's worth it. This is definitely my go to for a curry. Staff are really helpful the guy on the phone found it a little hard to understand the order but the owner came on and apologised and helped us with the order very polite and great customer service.

Great tasting food which arrived pipping hot and on time. Had a few orders from these guys and the standard has been consistent, my only slight issue with my latest order is that I requested my prawn Bhuna to be made madras hot but alas it wasn’t but still tasted great.

We came across this takeaway by accident while collecting an headboard from the nearby road. Young man behind counter was very helpful and friendly. Comprehensive menu and clean environment. The food was excellent and better than other takeaways in the area. Will be using again.

My family and I moved to Bicester in April 2021. Since them we have been sampling the curries Bicester takeaways have offer. So far, we have been thoroughly disappointed with every single one. Until today. Hands down the best we have had so far. My husband's rogan had the perfect amount of spice and the sauce was plentiful. My korma was deliciously creamy and again there was lots of sauce. The onion rice was lovely, and there was enough for us to share. My toddler had the bombay aloo which she enjoyed (as well as bits of our curries). If I had to find a negative, it would be that the chicken was a little dry in both dishes but this wasn't really too much of an issue. Certainly didn't distract from the taste. Will definitely be ordered from here again. Happy to have finally found somewhere decent!

This was my first time ordering and it definitely won't be my last. The food was really good and I liked that there was 4 options to have as a side to the biryani

Four (4) prawns for £10.75. I wish I knew I pay almost eleven pounds for basically three potatoes, four prawns and bit of vindaloo. Bombay aloo side was great but it was also a reminder that famine is coming: I could fit all of a container on palm of my hand. Despite what women say: size matters.

They have a wide selection of food and have many curries and dishes that other Indian restaurants don't that I would like to try when I go back there. They also gave a free extra dish with the meal. The wrap was nothing but a garlic naan bread wide open with chicken and salad. When you advertise “wrap” you need to understand that clients will expect to receive an actual wrap not a naan bread. The menu needs adjustment to be less misleading. The chicken tikka was fairly good. Thank you

This has become my favourite takeaways in Bicester! All food was labelled, came piping hot and was even offered a discount for collection. Butterfly prawn was sublime and the chicken jalfrezi was absolutely spot on! Saag paneer had the perfect amount of paneer slices too. I cannot compliment this place enough. Local gem and authentic Indian food!

It's my second order since was opened and definitely not last Meat was tender, rich flavour and delivery before time.

This is a gem of a find and provides purely authentic Pakistani/Indian curry. The service is fantastic, courteous and caring. The food is delicious with the right blend of spices and the quality of the food is overall on a level with the standard that you would look to find in a major city.

We had a take away tonight - first time from Curry Grill. The portions are incredibly generous and the quality was great. All our dishes were really really good. When I went to collect we could see our meals being finished individually in the open kitchen by chefs who were clearly proud of what they cook. When I arrived home I discovered there were a couple of free extras which was a nice touch. Would I recommend - hell yeah. 10/10 for quality 10/10 for taste 10/10 for value 10/10 for customer service Couldn’t fault it.

Took a chance on new restaurant and so glad I did. Easily the best saag in town and the Naan waa super fluffy. My only wish is that they sold chapati!

New customer I ordered Mixed starter , Saffron Biryani , peshwari Naan Tbh a majority of the food was ok only down sides were , Lamb tikka was not hot in the middle so we left that along with the onion bhagi which felt abit tough and I think the Naan could have been left to cook tiny bit longer , i was not to sure of the pawns either so didn’t eat them I’m pregnant so may have been over picky in what I was eating . Food arrived on time and what I ate was ok .

The food arrived on time, hot and the delivery driver even apologised for the wait even though he was on time. We ordered a couple of curries with rice, some bahjees and naan bread along with a chicken wing meal and a burger meal for my children who aren’t keen on curry. My only grumble is that the burger we ordered came with burger sauce and salad which my son didn’t like, an option to have a plain burger with no toppings would be appreciated. The food portions were very generous and super tasty. We will order again.
