Another late finish from work. Come back multiple times for a good meal.. not all grease and colouring. Also been with friends at weekends. Always good food and accmodating. Midweek set menu I'd also good value!

Below par food quality and to top it, the service is pathetic. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Highly disappointed

I am always well looked after and the food is really good, basic but good. If you like hot curries, please let them know because most of the dishes are mild, the Nager is not even up to a Madras for me!

The food here is absolutely spectacular. My family and I got dine in here after long day of shopping at bicester village and we were extremely happy with the amazing dishes that were served to us during our dinner.

I went there for a takeout and found the front of house quite charming and friendly. As for the decor and ambiance, it’s nice and pleasant, typical of an Indian (tandoori) restaurant. Although, there was a couple there that thought it was ok to have a loud conversation with someone on speakerphone! Considering it was early on and there was only one other occupied table in there. Some people just lack respect and decorum. The food was fairly nice, however, the potatoes in the saag aloo were a little undercooked. Overall though, pretty nice food. Would visit again.

DISGUSTING PLACE! RUDE STAFF, RUDE DELIVERY DRIVER. WE WAS WAITING OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR OUR FOOD. WE CALLED THE RESTAURANT AS TIME WAS GETTING ON AND THEY INFORMED US THE DELIVERY DRIVER WAS WAITING FOR 20 MINUITES. WE WROTE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DRIVER NOTES TO DRIVE THROUGH THE MAIN GATES (we gave the code) THEN TO CALL US WHEN THEY ARRIVED 2 NUMBERS WE LEFT AND NOT ONE OF THEM RANG. THE DRIVER WAS RUDE TO ME AND JUST LOOKED AT THE RECIPT WHEN I ASKED IF SHE READ THEM SHE JUST MADE A NOISE AND SAID SHE DIDNT SEE IT. NEVER GO HERE EVER!!!! I HOPE THOS PLACE GETS SHUT DOWN. OUR FOOD WAS FREEZING COLD AND THATS HARD TO DO WITH A CURRY, WE ASKED FOR A REFUND AND THE MANAGER DIDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT

Really disappointed with our meal last night. The dips for the poppadoms had no taste & looked like they had been sat for a week. The meals were warm at best & had no spice to them. Found foreign objects in the curry's which totally put us off. Ordered before and that was fine. Unfortunately will not order from here again.

Great little place we were made so welcome and the food was amazing. The Manager even gave my husband a birthday cake 🎂 thanks , was so thoughtful id be bank to try another dish if we were more local.

Had a delicious takeaway on Saturday. The food was ready on time for me to collect and was by far the nicest Indian food I have had in a long time. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Superb. Well done team Arzoo. We ordered for 12 for New Years Eve. I picked up at 5.30pm. Food was all ready and chef had done extra onion bahjis for us. We had chicken korma and lamb roghan josh plus aloo gobi and lots of popadoms and nans. Quite superb. All deliciously prepared and succulent. A great meal ahead of a very Happy New Year. Well done team Arzoo.

My experience at Arzoo Restaurant was disappointing, to say the least. Firstly, the ambiance lacked warmth and authenticity, making it feel more like a fast-food joint than an authentic Indian eatery. Moving on to the food, the dishes were a far cry from genuine Indian flavors. The dal makhni was too spicy & from no angle, one can say it's a dal makhni. The naan bread was dry and tasted as if it had been reheated multiple times. Service was another major letdown. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, taking an unusually long time to attend our order. Moreover, our orders were mixed up, and when brought to their attention, the staff appeared indifferent and made no effort to rectify the mistake promptly. To top it all off, the pricing did not match the quality or portion sizes offered. For the amount we paid, the value for money was simply not there. The staff was very rude, especially the one who attended us Overall, Arzoo Restaurant failed to deliver on multiple fronts - from ambiance and food quality to service. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience.

Pathetic food. We gave a take away order for dal makhni and chicken. In the name of dal Makhni they gave us Masala curry. When we called them to ask, the guy on the other side was so rude and said if you don’t like it throw it in the dust bin. We sell this Dal makhni only. I haven’t seen this rude behaviour from a resturant ever.

Excellent Christmas Day lunch with the family at the Arzoo yesterday. Food was very good and service was excellent. Really enjoyed our meal and look forward to our next visit.

Very good food and service, had butter chicken & Pila rice, Bombay potatoes with mix nan. I booked a table for two, when we arrived I found out the chef has recently won another food competition. I’ve been eating at Arzoo for few years and will continue to. Very recommended

We looked around Bicester for a decent Indian and thought we would try this one again as it has been a few years. As always we checked the Food Standards Agency. 0 out of 5. We did not enter as did not look very inviting

Ordered a delivery which they said would take 1 hour for delivery. After 1.5 hours I called to see where it was - they said it would be 5/10 minutes. After another 30 mins I called again and was told it would arrive any minute. After another 15 mins I called again and they said they were sorry, and would send it with a nice bottle of wine and it would be with me any minute. After another 15 minutes I called again and they advised it was on my street…my daughter went out to find them. They did then appear with food that was lukewarm and an already opened, half drunk bottle of cheap wine. I asked for a refund. They didn’t agree to it. Terrible. I won’t use them again and want to warn others.

About a year ago we noted a decline in the service and delivery. Taraq was very personable, new me from our frequent orders and even new our order… the restaurant changed ownership and since then the service has declined hugely so. We’ve just ordered a takeaway and as always advised 45 - 60 minutes, it’s now been 90 minutes despite a call offering assurances it would be with us imminently, 25 minutes ago. Maybe it’s time to consider Shakils!

Attractive setting, delicious food, good service, good value. We felt relaxed and comfortable and the food was excellent.

Awesome food. We has Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Curry (ordered mild as we have little one… if not I would ordered spicy 😄), garlic naan and plain rice. All are good and delicious. Love the chili pickles too …. Yummy. Had to cancelled my diet 😅😅. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favour and don't give these guys your money until they sort their act out! Currently rated 0 on the food hygiene scale which is genuinely hard to do unless you straight up do not care about your customers or basic hygiene!

Always love visiting Arzoo. The staff are so friendly. The restaurant is lovely and homely - service is efficient but not rushed. We have also had many takeaways which are ready quickly and we are always offered a drink on collection. My favourite Indian restaurant in Bicester by FAR.

Hubby and I visited here for the first time Sunday 26th March. Not visited previously due to poor reviews but looking for a local restaurant checked current reviews which were good and seeing that it was under new management decided to give it a try and we were so glad we did. The food was superb, we both had speciality mains, absolutely top notch and the owner took the time to chat to us at the end of the night telling us how he had recently taken this restaurant over. The food was so good we visited again last weekend and the food was even better, we thought it was good our first visit but this meal got a real wow and the owner remembered us from our previous visit which was lovely. This is by far the best indian restaurant in Bicester, we normally go to the Cowley Road, not anymore. If you love Indian food don't go anywhere else. The food and service both excellent.

We have been eating in Indian restaurants since the very early 1970's so we have eaten a lot of Indian food over the years. Having visited Arzoo on 17th February and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal I would rate our experience as excellent. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and the customer service was great.

Visited Arzoo on Saturday evening with my family, one of whom can be a fussy eater. The staff were very welcoming and accommodated special requests for my child. The menu is interesting and varied, All the food was excellent. Staff were attentive and offered to pack up our leftovers to take home. A superb restaurant…we will be back soon.

Our friends had a small party and ordered all the food from here. It was all delicious, great Dhal, fish curry, panner, veg curry. Each dish was very well done and the best we have had for a long time. Will definitely be our 'go to' curry house from now on.

Maybe nice place for meat eaters, however for vegetarian there isn’t much choice ordered matar paneer which was tasteless & naans we got served seemed from local supermarket they didn’t tasted or looked freshly made! 3 stars for only for those beautiful Indian outfits waitresses, who were genuinely caring about good hospitality

Went in this restaurant on Christmas Eve dinner . No me and my friends are regretting on this choice to have food from there. Really disappointed. Not recommended to anyone especially punjabis

Ordered a takeaway from Arzoo after a few months of not using them after a below par curry last time. Thought we’d give them another shot but what a disappointment! Ordered two portions of onion bhajis which were very dark (almost burnt) on outside but completely raw inside! Lamb korma and lamb tikka full of gristle, very little meat you could actually eat and considering each curry is just under £10 shocking quality for the price. Also ordered garlic rice which literally had raw garlic chunks throughout it. So much so you couldn’t even pick it out. So even the rice was inedible. Genuinely, the only nice thing was the naan bread. We used to order from arzoo any time we got a curry and they were good but after the last two being so awful I will not be returning. My advice; AVOID!

Quick service, food was slightly bland and felt the need to add salt and pepper to it that was on the table. Not to my palette as I prefer my food seasoned well so disappointed that I had to add to it. Small but clean restaurant

Supurb selection of currys that tasted authentic. Everything about the food was good from taste, portion sizes and presentation. Reasonable priced and friendly staff also. Definitely recommended.

We popped in here on our way through Bicester and were really impressed. The man serving us (who we presume was the proprietor) was really friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The food was amazing, the chicken shashlik was the best we've ever...

Visiting my parents this weekend so we ordered a takeaway for 8 of us. (despite ordering on a previous occasion and the rice not being delivered). This time they did not deliver one of the meals ordered (a biryani). When I rang I was told I had not ordered that dish, despite reading the items from a piece of paper. After some back and forth with the restaurant during which they were insisting I lied about the biryani they agreed to send another. Whilst waiting for the food to arrive we also found a large piece of clay from the clay oven embedded in the nan bread. Luckily we spotted it before it broke some teeth or caused somebody to choke. After we eventually received all our food (and a complimentary £2.99 bottle of white wine from aldi) we added up the total from the menu. It came to £80.50 including the biryani which is what I paid. Perhaps instead of calling their customers a liar this restaurant could spend more time not serving clay to their customers and ensuring they deliver what is ordered.

So disappointed with the service we received tonight at Arzoo. Came out for my boyfriends brothers birthday meal. Could tell as soon as we walked into the establishment that the server could not be bothered with us. Bad attitude from the start. Poppadoms were lovely...

Lovely Chicken Dhansak with Chapati's and cold refreshing lager. Staff were very polite and service was excellent. Lack of recent reviews is slightly unusual????

We ordered two Madras curries. One was okay, the other one was insanely(!) hot. Very disappointed by the fact that almost all the veg in the vegetable madras was appeared to be from a standard bag of frozen peas, carrots and sweetcorn. I expect fresh vegetables from a restaurant.

Even one star is not worth. Worst place in the U.K. .. firstly the menu had a million items to order from . Due to some confusion about the menu we asked the waiter for suggestions about the menu items and the waiter started showing attitude and asked us to go eat somewhere else . Obviously we went to another lovely place but such a pathetic attitude for what ? … we were sincerely confused about the menu and took a little longer to order and Experienced a pathetic behaviour from U.K’s most pathetic place ….. the city deserves a better place Good we went to another place else the waiter might have spit in our food … never ever .. come close within 100 meters to this place

Usually have our takeaways from here and really enjoy them. However the past two occasions our deliveries have been over half an hour late being delivered, this evening it was an hour late being delivered. The food quality on this occasion was poor too. Will not be using this restaurant again.

Arzoo in general is fab... delicious food and we often sit in, so usually great service. Mid week, this week 27th Oct was not quite the same... still good but food was under par and service was incredibly slow for just 3 tables. I asked for mild on my usual tasty dish but instead of reducing the heat as they usually do, they added really sickly sweet ingredient to sweeten it up... in short it was not the same savoury, tasty, depth of flavour... the sweet killed it off and the heat still there. The naan was not hot and fluffy but flat, seemed under cooked (unrisen) and heavy. The bombay potatoes were tainted and unusually oily (they usually melt in the mouth and are stunningly delicious). Such a shame as we always thoroughly enjoy our food here... which usually is delicious, tantalises the taste buds with depth of flavour without heat, but not this time. Our guest was none the wiser, but we both agreed not up to usual standards... fingers crossed standards return and it improves next time.

Mixed review on this restaurant. My husband had a lovely meal having the Bangladesh hotpot which he really enjoyed. For me going to a restaurant I don't expect to receive frozen veg the carrots would have bounced if I had attempted to bounce them certainly couldn't get my knife to cut them. This used to have such high standards. We knew it had been through a rough time but thought we would give it another go again. Shame shan't be going back.

Arrived at Arzoo at around 7pm without booking, was able to seat the four of us. Fast service, with drink orders, and providing poppadoms and sauces which were very tasty. Food was cooked well and came out in good time. Would eat here again and would recommend.

Our favourite indian in bicester. Servings are generous, flavours are excellent, bonus extras are appreciated. Persian lamb is a highlight.

Takeaway ordered two hours ago. Two phone calls later and still no food. Been told twice it's a few mins away. No apology and then hung up on. Not impressed. It's a shame because the food itself is generally pretty good

Inept. Lying. Useless. Three words that I would never want to use about a business but unfortunately true on this occasion. Previously we had ordered from Arzoo and had a fantastic meal possibly the best Indian I have ever had! However… New Year’s Eve is always busy and with pressures of Covid I placed my order early. The App said that it would be delivered at 19:00. At 19:00 the App said it had been delivered. Alas no. At 19:10 I phoned only to be told that it was “on it’s way”. At 20:00 I phoned again to be told “it had just left”. At 22:30 they final answered their phone to say “we’re very sorry we can send it now”. Why? Why lie? If things aren’t working just say so. Lying and taking my money and delivering nothing is not a way to make me likely to use you again or indeed recommend! I don’t know what the hell went wrong today but if you want to stay in business you need to fix it!

Have ordered a few times before and its been a okay experience but this last time wasn't pleasant at all the food seemed stale, the chappatis were dry and seemed old with so much clay from the oven stuck to it we hardly ate any because it was full of the clay. Also there is no where you can leave them a feedback like facebook, no one responded to my query so had to come to google!!

After being a loyal customer of Arzoo both takeaway and the restaurant for many years we have finally given up. What was once great is now nothing short of disgusting. It started to go down hill with tasteless food that looked thrown together so we gave it a break. However on Saturday we decided to go back and give it one last chance. The mixed starter smelt of fish (it wasnt), the mains were bland and tasteless. There are plenty of other indian restaurants in Bicester so we wont be going back. You have ow lost long loyal customers.

Ordered takeaway, waited ninety minutes most important dishes missing,it must be a general complaint in Bicester. So many curry houses here not one any good, that is why I have had to go to the ovisher in Kidlington for a decent curry, for the last five years.

Placed an order, and STATED that we would not like no CORIANDER with our order. The order arrived, when opened every dish had CORIANDER (Although we strictly asked for none); In addition to this the food was cold. We have just moved into the area, this was our first takeaway; utterly disappointed with the ORDER, and standard of food. Will never ever use again, having failed to listen to our request of no CORIANDER!!! The request was submitted no CORIANDER, due a family member having an allergy if consumed/eaten. Clearly the restaurant doesnt conform to basic requests, relating to allergies. Overall a waste of money!
