easy parking nice and pleasant nothing to complain about food was ok and the service was quicker than most Indian takeaways I've been to

always top service and cheap and quick which is what i like no frills just simply good food and easy to park

This order was delivered 2 hours after the order was placed. They did not proactively call to gives us any indication the delivery would be delayed. I contacted them twice for an update. They were very apologetic, but it does hurt to pick up the phone and give an update to your paying customers?

Delivery time went from 50 minutes to 60 minutes. Eventually took 90. I understand it was NYE, but try harder to be more realistic with times. Mains were nice, side dish wasn't.

No flavour no spice maybe they rushed it because it was 11pm. Usually good but very disappointed last night.

Lovely foo. My only criticisms are that I expected only lamb in the lamb samosa and this had quite a lot of vegetable in it which I didn't like. Meal could have been warmer but the overall quality was good..

Food lovely. Arrival time stopped it being a full sweep for review but was compensated with a free side. Brilliant

Great tasting food. Could do with a bit more meat in the dishes but otherwise good.

After having a bad meal the last time we ordered from here we decided to give it another chance as previously they had been lovely, unfortunately our meal was even worse than before. My biriyani lacked any kind of flavour and the lamb was as tough as old boots . The naan bread was so incredibly greasy neither myself or my partner could eat it so it went in the bin. Was so disappointed, I don't know if they have changed chefs but the quality of this place has taken a huge nosedive. Definitely won't be ordering again

Took over an hour and a half to arrive. Although the food was tasty the portions were terrible with only a couple of pieces of meat in each curry.

Not one of the best currys I've had in Harlow. Garlic Naan bread was very dry & I couldn't taste much garlic if any. Very small portion of chicken in the tikka masala. Most of it was sauce. Overall a bit of a let down

Disgusted by the service I had this evening ordered the rood at 830 didn't arrive till 950. Called and was told the driver was on the way 5 to 10 min. 15 later called again and the guy said he will call the driver and see where he is and I would get a call back. 20 min later NO call so I call back the driver has broken down and someone else is brining it. Was told I would get a free curry not time like there is going be be a next time. Told them I won't order again. When food arrived the driver said next time I will have a free curry I explained that I won't order again my 9 yer old daughter is starving and it's my nans 82nd birthday and got dinner in as a treat. Said for him to call his boss and see if I could get a refund for my food as we have waited so long he soon left.

The food was nice but the delivery time and takeaway service is poor I've waited over an hour for my food. Not impressed one bit especially when I have a hungry girlfriend who is now angry because she's been waiting for her food for about 20 minutes by the window

This is the second time that I have ordered from Curry Express. On both occasions they have taken well over the 45-60 minutes expected time. Last night of course it took ages to arrive and they had also forgotten the popadoms. I called to explain and they assured me they will send them immediately. I am writing this 24 hours later and I AM STILL WAITING!!!!! VERY POOR SERVICE!!!

The order was late so I called and asked where it was. The man said it would be another 20 minutes. By the time it had arrived we had waited 1hr 45mins. When I opened the order it was missing a rice and my chicken tikka madras was a lamb madras. I couldn't eat it as I cannot eat lamb. The chicken tikka masala was oily and watery. In all a bad experience. Wouldn't use them again.

AWFUL!! Food took nearly 2 hours, missing items and then items that were here were wrong. They offered a discount but tried to offer the one we had already got through using the app. Never ever again.

Our food arrived before the mentioned time and the delivery man was very friendly :) The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered peshwari chicken and chill chicken masala, keema rice and some sides. The chicken in the curry was soo soft and the chunks were huge. Rice was very tasty along with the sides! Second time ordering from here and not disappointed. We used to order out Indian from 'quality' but this place is so much nicer and the meat is far superior!! Highly recommended!
