First visit and won’t be the last, 5 different meals, all good quality food, served attractively. Look forward to next visit.

Definitely the best Cafe in Darlington without a doubt, the menu choice, the food, the service is excellent top marks. I have been coming to this cafe for over a year now. This cafe should continue with same staff, service, menu choices and food. Best In Darlington by far. It would be an injustice and a tragedy if it was to close or change.

Visitado en mi cumpleaños con mi marido para el desayuno. Justo decir que la experiencia fue decepcionante. Ambiente cero, aunque recibido por un personal amable y atento. La comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Sorprendido de que un establecimiento de alta gama esté feliz de servir pan en rodajas barato. Hay tantas opciones locales y panaderos locales, que siento que el restaurante debería estar obteniendo ingredientes de mayor calidad. Como puedes ver en mi foto, mi aguacate en tostadas era increíblemente básico. Similar a lo que esperaría que me atendieran en un café de calle, no en un ‘hotel de lujo’. Dejó comentarios al personal que no podía preocuparse menos para ser honesto. La respuesta de la chica en recepción a mi comentario sobre el pan ‘oh no - es solo pan normal que se sirve’ mientras sonríe y se burla. Realmente no sé por qué el personal se molesta en preguntar cómo fue la experiencia, si no están capacitados para responder adecuadamente. No es una reacción muy útil. No esperábamos un reembolso o algo así como comimos la comida. Pero cómo se responde a los comentarios y retroalimentación, es una gran parte de la reputación de un negocio. En el futuro sabemos que no visitar para una ocasión especial, ya que la comida y el ambiente estaba lejos de ser especial.

Love this place been going 18yrs which says alot. Friendly staff beautiful tasting dishes , not found anything in the area to compare or that comes close .

Lovely little cafe. Very reasonably priced. The gentleman that served us was very quick and helpful. There is changing facilities for children, highchairs, a really cute motorbike rocking horse and a standard rocking horse so a few things to keep little ones busy whilst you finish your meal. They also have decaf tea, perfect for a breastfeeding mama. Oh yeah and they offer a mammoth breakfast, 4 bacon, 4 sausage, 4 eggs, 4 black pudding, fried bread, toast, beans, tomatoes etc for under a tenner. I didn't order it but I imagine it would be incredible and a great hangover cure. Please leave me a helpful vote if you found this review useful.
