My wife and I called into the Curry Cottage on Wednesday night and were grateful to see that the standards hadn’t slipped. We were made welcome, the food was delightful, for my mai course I chose from the specials board,I had Lamb Khushi which was tender lamb cooked with potatoes and spices, which came with onion rice, yum indeed. My wife had Lamb Passanda for her main, both dishes were tasty and the sweet of the Passand complimented the spice of the Khushi. The waiter was helpful and polite, the food was lovely, the decor classy, even the price was reasonable.

12/08/2018: We found that the Rajas was the only place serving food ‘late’ in Bakewell so had no option to try it but it didn’t disappoint! My fiancé and I both had Tandori dishes and the meat and fish was really good quality and very tasty. Tables were quite close together in the restaurant but it was still a nice setting.
24/08/2018: We visited here on the advice of our airbnb host and its high rating appealed. We were the first in at 6pm but it filles up quickly. The staff are attentive abd they have a large enticing menu. We had the tiger prawns as starter but they were overcooked although tasty otherwise. Then we had a tikka masala and i had a jalfrezi curry both of which were delicious and fresh tasting with ample size portions. The naan was perfect. Sadly the cost ramped up because a pint of coke was 4pound which is a joke. The alcohol was pricey as well so stuck with water. This may be the norm here in peak district so apologies if so but a bit of a downer. Otherwise great curry and lovely staff.

11/10/2018: Visited after a walk around Ladybower. Being early the place was very quiet, which meant very attentive service and not too long to wait for the meal. Lot's of choice including fish options and reasonably priced.
22/07/2018: Wow, what can I say about this restaurant, only brilliant things.
