Cumberland Arms in Hammersmith and Fulham

I recently had an afterwork dinner at the Pub and was impressed. The meals were not only delicious but also well-prepared and presented. I ordered the bavette, which was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed yet lively, making it a great spot to unwind after a busy day. Highly recommend for both the food and the overall experience

Midweek lunch Chicken with all the trimmings hit the spot.

Lovely cosy place to grab a bite to eat and relax with a gin or a pint. Tucked away from Olympia events but within walking distance of the centre and tube stations. Beef Ragu was lovely.

Every night at the Cumberland Arms would be enjoyable. One thing I really like about pubs is the antique atmosphere...and here we have wood furniture all around. Friendly staff and great service in addition to the local beer... delicious.

Best place for a pint or a feed in West Ken. Very friendly staff and a nice space all round.

Went here for Sunday Dinner. Excellent. Staff and service were great. The roast dinner was quality. Chicken excellent - roasties especially and the veg was cooked perfectly. Landlord beer was another feature of the visit and the dessoits was Supoib. Sticky Toffee and Apple Crumble. Outrageous. Great atmosphere as well.

This has to be one of the worst roast dinners I have ever encountered, bland roast beef was undercooked and tough ,veg was overcooked and bland ,seemingly pickled cabbage is now part of a Sunday roast

Well positioned for those attending an event at Olympia. Congenial decor and ambience Range of beers rather limited, but wider selection of wines .. as evidenced by the predominance of female customers. Good range of food on offer but a bit pricey by pub standards in Central London. Would I patronise again ? .. Probably not as I did not take too kindly to a 12.5% 'service charge' being unexpectedly added to the bill .. especially when we obtained our drinks from the bar in the first place !

Live in Fulham and have drove by this pub a few times. So, I thought tonight I would try it. Barman miserable, just grunted at me when serving..Beer average and well overpriced...there's much better pubs around..believe me.

Very good cuisine. Large, typical and airy pub, large terrace. Very pleasant

Nice pub and reasonable food. We had risotto which is always a risky option. Sadly, it wasn't the best I've had but was nice enough...the chips however were great. But do ask for the wine list rather than just ask for a bottle of wine...we asked for a bottle of rosé but were slogged with a forty quid bill (at least it was French).

There's always a good ambiance at the Cumberland. Make sure you try the sausage pasta or the calamari.

Great last minute option booked after attending an event at Olympia

Genuinely terrible service. We booked on First Table and paid a £6 deposit. When we arrived the serving staff were incredibly rude and the place was totally empty (clearly a sign). We sat down and wanted to give the restaurant a chance so ordered a pint. But the staff members continued to be rude by loudly swearing and totally ignoring our requests for menus. They also very audibly made offensive comments about customers who were outside. We decided that it was worth sacrificing our £6 and left to get dinner elsewhere. The worst service that I have had in London and incredibly disappointing. I’ve never actually left a restaurant before eating so I think that gives a decent indication of the atmosphere…

Amazing roast!! Lamb was incredible

Ordered dinner and got hit with £5 service charge which I questioned. I don’t mind paying a service charge, but seriously, I ordered at the bar! Food was ok.

burger was overdone, bun a bit stale and more importantly..came with 6-7 chips only...

Very good little pub, with a nice ambience, great fun atmosphere, and even outside seating. My only peev us only one or two beers 🍺 on cask, but if you are a lager drinker, won't be disappointed.

Everything about this pub was welcoming. The books over the fireplace, the parlor games, the shoes on the wall, the friendly staff. Then our food came, black truffle and ricotta ravioli, delicious, penne pasta, delicious, bangers and mash, delicious. Def must try.

Delicious food, easy going atmosphere and Will served us well. We loved this neighborhood pub since it wasn't crowded. I am surprised it wasn't packed given how good the food was. Pictures of a burger and the mussels we ate here are attached.

Food is amazing although it takes a while to come. I recommend the Cumberland burger it is amazing! Service is outstanding everyone was very nice and they could accommodate a last minute party of 9 on a week night. The atmosphere is great! It is very friendly and cozy! I highly recommend you visit if you are in the area

Two vegetarians and a gluten free diner enter the Cumberland Arms…no joke or happy punchline here, I’m afraid :( Sadly no veg or vegan mains! Several veg/vegan starters. And the chef could/would not increase the portion of the ravioli or risotto starters. So we left. The waitress was very apologetic and very pleasant! Gorgeous fire place and raised seating area. Great vibe. What a shame… Come on The Cumberland Arms…!

Really not worth the £24 for roast dinner. Looked and tasted as it had microwave treatment. Staff very friendly.

Great Sunday Roast and fantastic, friendly service. We visit this area 4-5 times per year and have done for over 10 years to attend events at Olympia. This was my first visit to The Cumberland Arms in search of a comforting Sunday Roast and we were not disappointed. Don’t expect fine dining or even overpriced gastropub food but do expect great quality meat and everything else cooked to perfection including the desserts (we had crumble and sticky toffee spudding). I took an espresso after dinner which was also very well done, better than I’ve had at a pub for a long time! Two Sunday Roasts, two desserts, a pre-dinner cocktail, a bottle of wine and an espresso came in at £110.

Classic pub with really good options for Sunday Roast and drinks. I got the beef roast and my girlfriend had the pork, both were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend it.

The best Sunday roast in West London. Never disappointed!

I only had the cannelloni bean soup and bread. It was a bit bland and was a puree rather than having beans in the soup. I wouldn't particularly recommend it. The wine was incredibly expensive compared to other pubs. Overall wouldn't recommend it.

Ce pub est très bien, le personnel est accueillant sans vous mettre trop la pression. Belle décoration, bon choix de bières. Nous y sommes allés un vendredi soir et le pub restait calme malgré la fréquentation du début de week-end. Les plats sont copieux et savoureux. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le Sticky toffee pudding! Dommage qu'ils ne proposent pas de pies mais à part cela, nous y retournerons!

The truth is that I expected much more from the place. I didn't really like the ravioli, they were a little runny although the flavor wasn't bad. The meat was good. High price from my point of view.

Delicious, varied menu. Good atmosphere. Friendly, down to earth staff. I wish they made custard, though, to go with the sticky toffee and Apple and Berry Crumble, though they ice cream was very nice too.

Proper old pub with lovely atmosphere. Quiet for Sunday lunch at 1pm. Service was friendly and attentive. Beef and chicken roasts were quite generous and accompanying vegetables (carrots and tender stem broccoli) were nicely cooked. Roast potatoes were average and one of the yorkies was over-done so can't give 5 stars.

A warm welcome and friendly staff. The roast dinner was very good and tasty. I had a dessert too. Sticky toffee pudding which was delicious. What I loved about this place was it’s welcome and Christmas decor. So cosy, along with the welcome. I wish I could transport this place nearer to Surrey. But overall a great place to eat and visit if your in the area.

What a lovely cosy place. The food was so comforting and delicious. Service was great and I’m so happy I took a chance on booking this nostalgic establishment. The Christmas decor also on point and I could of stayed there all day. I would highly recommend the roast dinner 100%

The food was lovely arrive hot and big helpings The roast beef was a little too rare and extra for one of our group and will.rwmwmber to order extra gravy next time . but the staff was amazing and took a couple drinks of the total bill . We will definitely be back again the staff were so nice friendly and welcoming .

Mistaken for Italy The chef, as it turned out, hailed from Brazil, not Italy. And then the secret behind the chicken artistry and flavour revealed itself: the green beans were wrapped in bacon! In a moment of delicious confusion, I wandered aimlessly into the kitchen and thanked the chef for a lunch that transcended borders and cultures, proving that flavours, much like music, speak a universal language. I told him that London ice can freeze your toes; just like anywhere I suppose. But this feed puts you firmly back on the West way. And then you realise, you're enjoying the time of your life - in the greatest city in the world.

A traditional English pub which serves good food which in my opinion is above average and was well presented. Friendly staff too.

The staff were all very helpful and were happy for us to pre-book our roast seeing there was 11 of us. The food was delicious, good potion sizes with all the trimmings.

A very good, if expensive, pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Didn't eat there this time, but the food on other tables looked very good.

Very welcoming staff, good food and service. The main downside was that the pub was cold - we never warmed up during our entire stay, which takes the edge off a nice evening.

Pretty decent pub. The beers on tap are what I'd seen in other pubs. Had dinner, and the food was quite good. Fried calamari was really good. My friend has sausages & mash, I had Caesar salad with chicken. Both delicious, generous serving. Recommended.

What a great gastro pub. We were slightly late into London after train delays and although they were just about to close the kitchen they agreed to let us order. The staff were lovely and the food totally delicious!

Fantastic Sunday roast, Yorkshire grade Yorkshire puds, and a spot on pint.

Buzzing pub in a quiet neighbourhood with wonderful staff and two sides (depending on whether you want sports on tele).

Food was tasty and well presented. Really good prices - good value for London.

We really enjoyed the meals here (and the cider...) and had a good selection. Service is friendly and prompt. We had to sit inside because smokers were in the patio area, which looked really nice too. Inside is large and lovely. Near our favorite hotel St. Paul's, so a good combination in Hammersmith area: good if you are heading to Heathrow in the morning.

The server was an idiot! The food was outstanding! My £17:50 meal was charged at £19.69 with the “optional” service charge included. I protested and was told by the idiot that he didn’t know how to do refunds. Would I like a packet of crisps to cover the difference? I now possess a £2.69 packet of crisps!! However the Cumberland Burger was amazing
