All round very good service. Food prompt & hot. Dogs allowed.

First time I've been here and won't be the last,a loverly pub,restaurant staff friendly and food was superb and worth the money. Great that it's dog friendly too.

Excellent food and magnificent views

Booked after looking for somewhere for Sunday Lunch. So glad we did as it was busy. However, tables are well spaced and the staff are very organised. We didn’t feel rushed at all (other than the fact we had a ferry to catch). We both had roasts (one chicken, one beef), the plates were piping hot and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. I’ve no idea how they make their cauliflower cheese but it is off the scale. We were stuffed but managed to share a crème brûlée (also delicious). This could easily become our go to place when we visit IoW as I’m keen to see if the other food is as good. Just superb!

Lovely pub, great Sunday roast, and good service even though it was busy. Definitely book a table if it's likely to be a busy day, we didn't but got lucky and only sat outside for a few minutes for a space inside to open up. There's a car park just beyond the pub, so there's no need to park along the road as some people were doing. Keep your eye out for the turn on the way up the hill. It comes up quickly, and there's nowhere to turn around before the end of the road if you miss it.

Sublime... just sublime. Been here a few times now and never disappoints.

Absolutely delicious food. Sunday roasts, pies and sausage and mash were all exceptional. We all came away from the dinner so full and very happy - everyone was very impressed. Looking forward to returning. Dog friendly and superb views added to the excellent experience.

What a lovely place to have lunch, the views are breathtaking, even the multitude of cows outside looking in added to experience: the service was amazing, even having the pooch in the bar was great

We had a fantastic Christmas lunch at the Culver Haven. It's a great pub with great views, although visabiliy was poor today. The food was exceptional value for money.

Wonderful location with spectacular views, with amazing home cooking food. We had Sunday lunch and it was the best Sunday lunch I have eaten in a long time. You wont leave disappointed or hungry.

this has been one of my favourite pubs on the island for years , its also a must stop if walking the costal path , the views are amazing , food great , beer -- well on a hot , dry day after walking several hours its like pure nectar . if walking the costal path check opening days -- iv been known to alter start day to make sure im here when its open

Good pint, lovely views, nice people working here - we turned up on the off chance for a quick drink at Sunday lunchtime and they were able to fit us in a packed bar. Thank you guys, it was much needed!

We turned up during a storm with dogs in tow and found a warm, dog-friendly place with comfort food.

Didn't eat here, but lovely views

Popped in for a light bite and had a Ciabatta with fries which was tasty and a couple of pints which was fab.

A very pleasant pub with a fantastic 360 view of the surrounding areas. Ideal for dog walkers as is dog friendly. A very cosy pub.

Love this place. Park at Yaverland and walk up the down to this friendly pub (only takes about half an hour). You can drive up if you don't fancy the walk. Very reasonably priced and lovely grub. I had mac n cheese, two of my party had fish pie, another ham, egg and chips. Good wholesome food, and what a view. 😋☺️

First class pub. Great food. Excellent beer (London pride) place was absolutely packed. Guv’nor is very friendly.

We only had a drink during the afternoon. The host was good.

Popped in for lunch with friends after a walk around the headland. Thankfully we had booked a table because there were no free tables to be had inside. Nice selection of ciders and ales, and the menu was very good as well. Food was very good, and not too pricey. The pub is very bright, clean and well looked after inside. (Not your run-of-the-mill dingy pub.) The view from the pub is spectacular. Well worth the visit.

We called in here after a walk around the old battery's , what a cracking pub good choice of drinks and a good menu for food. Staff were friendly and accommodating for us as we had the dog with us, all meals arrived as ordered and pipping hot . Would definitely be back here again.

Good views as location on top of cliff

Beautiful location, stunning views, didn't get to try food as the kitchen had just closed (2minutes previous). Would liked to have given more stars, however, disappointed that we'd gone all that way to be turned away. Especially during the summer time. In a high season destination, food should be offered whilst the doors are open. Will try again though next time we're visiting.

Good pub but on website did not say it was dog friendly. That is annoying when your someone like me allergic to dogs.

Lovely food, my liver and bacon was perfect and my wife says its the vest burger on the Island. Great location, helpful staff.

We arrived here near closing time to be met by friendly locals. The owner welcomed us with a warm smile then served us our favourite tipple. Dog friendly and cosy. What more could you want. We didn't eat but the food looked top notch.

Unfortunately it’s changed and the previous owners & food was better. We didn’t have the best of experiences tonight, two of us had the steak & Ale pie and were looking forward to it but the meat was grisly and hard and neither of us could eat it, manager/owner came over with an attitude and said, we’ve sold hundreds of these, in a very defensive manner with no apology, as if she thought we were lying, but then reluctantly changed them for something else. The woman was then talking to a member of staff, clearly about us with an irritated facial expression, as they both turned round to look directly at us, this made us feel really uncomfortable and I found this manager to be unfriendly, stern and intolerant of any criticism, customer service was poor. The also left the steak pies on the final bill, even though the replacement dishes, were cheaper. We will not be returning there.

Visited on a very wet and windy day but fortunately managed to get some seats in the conservatory at the front. Pub was very busy serving meals, seemed to be a lot of regulars and it would appear necessary to book if you want to eat here. Some great views out over the channel and the beers weren’t bad either.

We come to the culver haven every year we’re on the island. It never fails to provide us with a fantastic experience. In both service and food Very warm welcome Great Staff and hospitality.

Lovely Roast beef with great selection of vegetables

Great experience every time we go. Over here for two weeks and going three times.

Food and service was excellent, will recommend to friends and family.

We came as a table of 10 on Sunday and had such a wonderful experience. The views as always are gorgeous! The food was absolutely perfect. We all got served at the same time and each meal was amazing. The beef roast was beautiful, the beef melted in your mouth and everything else was brilliant. Desserts were really lovely too and I’m very grateful for being able to change mine slightly. Although we didn’t have it this time I have been before and must say that the steak and ale pie is the best pie I have ever had and would massively recommend that to anybody. Staff were lovely as well and we did not feel rushed as there was a 2 hour time limit on our table. We were able to take our time and enjoyed every aspect.

We arrived about 2 mins before the cut off time for food but we were warmly welcomed and had a great dinner. Lovely home cooking style with good quality ingredients and the portion sizes were good. Lovely family run vibe and we loved your dog!...

Visited for a Sunday lunch and was not disappointed - roasts of the day at £14.95 were of great value and some of the meat quality roast Meats tasted for ages. The whole Family enjoyed the experience

A nice atmosphere with reasonably friendly staff. The food was nice but the portions were quite small for the price. Other establishments on the Isle of Wight offer better value for money. Nice to pop into for a drink if you’re passing.

A beautiful little pub on Culver Down, this pub must have the best views of any other pub on the Isle of Wight, you can literally see for miles in every direction, the pub itself is really nice with plenty of open space including a small outdoor seating area, though it can get a bit windy up there, it's a nice place to take a break and get a drink if you're out walking. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend it although you would most likely need to book a table in advance, the pub is also dog friendly which is nice, with their own very friendly pooch sitting near the bar... Soo cute!
