Booked for a baby shower Unfortunately I had a few complaints regarding the food tuna wraps were very messy to eat also had onions in also the other wrap which we wasn’t sure what the filling actually was, the only open sandwiches were cheese and onion which also had to much onions in, the ham, beef and chicken sandwich’s were very dry and squished together, the quiche was lovely though. They wasn’t an enough cakes quite a few people didn’t get any and at least 3 people didn’t actually attend, the scones were okay but did seem a tad dry. Over all i think we would have preferred more of a traditional buffet such as chicken wraps tuna sandwich’s and egg mayo included. Also it was difficult to get a drink has the girl was not at the bar quite a lot which led to people having to wait 5 10 minutes for a drink and they only opened the open for an hour and half for two hour booking and it was a very hot day. We paid £100 for the room etc and staff member for the bar. And £11.50 each for food for 21 people didn’t seem enough to go round The room was very clean and tidy and staff were polite when present

Me and my wife went here for Sunday lunch and I have to say the meal was awesome especially the mash potato, staff great.Will be booking again very soon.

Visited with a large party for afternoon tea. I'd ordered a vegetarian which arrived with a salmon bagel. When I questioned what it was the waitress confirmed it was salmon and said don't you eat that. Well, no. It's not vegetarian. Her response was 'oh I thought it was just the sandwiches' she took the bagel and returned with a tiny pot of olives without saying another word. One of my other sandwiches had mustard all on the side so it had obviously been stored with the ham and mustard sandwiches the others had. I'm not too fussed about things touching, but if I had an allergy I'd be pretty concerned about their procedures. We had one tea pot for a long table which remained empty for most of the meal. We had to keep asking and eventually they brought another pot bit it felt like the staff didn't really want us there. The sweet bits and scones were nice but I wouldn't go back. Maybe the evening menu is better.

Had breakfast for the 1st time whilst waiting for my car to be serviced. Lovely place staff were very friendly and helpful.We both had eggs royal, It's definitely the best we've ever tasted. Coffee was a man's size cappuccino. My wife had the best Earl grey tea. We've found a little gem and will call again soon.

Restaurant menu not as extensive as shown on website- only 6 choices of main course. Had to ask if there was another menu. Waiter brought bar snack menu which included pizzas. Food was fine.

This is the first time I've been here for a while, friend was staying over so three of us went for lunch and a couple of drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The service was good, friendly and the tables and bar area clean. The music outside was a bit weird , not sure what vibe was going on, but it was as if I should have been on a clubbing holiday, just didn't fit the afternoon lunch and the crowd that was outside. Overheard the staff behind the bar saying its louder than usual as can hear it behind the bar. It just mean trying to have a conversation outside was like been in a really loud club or bar in leeds and just the wrong type of music to what I've heard before when going past during the day. I had the hot roast sandwich, everything on it was great just the gravy let it down as it was just slightly brown water with no taste. Mu other two friends enjoyed their food. Will go again, just a little put off by the overly loud music outside just after lunch time.

Got three bacon and sausage sandwiches. Sausages were terrible very tangy taste had to leave the sausages couldn't eat them . Eggs are never done .always very runny. That's the white not the yoke

My friend and I booked the afternoon tea with a cocktail. We were greeted warmly at the bar and told our table was available whenever we was ready. We was offered tea or coffee straight away from Bev. We chose our cocktail from the list with Rachel and our food arrived promptly with the cocktail. There was a wide selection of sandwiches, cakes and meats all perfectly placed on a beautiful 3 tier plate stack along with meats and cakes on a platter at the side. There was plenty of wonderful finger sandwiches. Bagel salmon sandwiches, egg mayo and ham and piccalilli as well as coronation chicken. Every sandwich was plentiful of fillings. My friend and I saved the savoury cheese wrap until the end which was just divine. The selection of meats with salad was so tasty, italian ham, pepperoni and salami to choose from. The small cakes were perfect. Lemon sponge cake, flapjack, strawberry tart and also scone with cream and jam (always cream first then jam 😋) we left the table after 2 hours with full bellies. We had fantastic attentive service with a lovely warm smile from Rachel and she was very prompt with the additional drinks orders, asking if we needed anything else. I would highly recommend booking the afternoon tea, fresh tasty sandwiches and small cakes. There was so much food for the price AND a cocktail included all for £17.50 each. You could also have prosecco with your afternoon tea at a different price, I would definitely visit again.

Went for breakfast with my wife and newborn. Food was extremely good and came quick. Staff very friendly. We went on a week day so was quiet, but highly recommend the eggs florentine.

We went to this cafe bar as our original plan didn't work But we were pleasantly surprised with what was available The food selection in the cafe was good and it tasted really nice We would return next time we are in Morley The staff were helpful

Lovely spot to have a meal. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Food is really well cooked and there is a good selection. Cocktails were very nice and there's a reasonable wine selection. Bar staff were quick and efficient, and Rachel, our server, was very friendly and helpful. Easy disabled access and toilets, spacious seating, and the music is at a volume that encourages conversation.

Came here with a good friend of mine and went to the bar to place our order. A lady came over and took our order for two roast sandwiches complete with chips, a pot of gravy and two pints all for £30. The lady let us know it was roast chicken and we politely said that was fine. After a fairly reasonable 15-20 minutes food arrived and to our suprise we both opened our sandwich and and there appeared to be a lack of chicken on the bun ciabatta. The chips, the lager and the atmosphere we couldn't fault however, when leaving we did feel that we had been robbed especially considering that we had paid almost £9 per meal.

Been a few times now and really enjoyed the food as always. 5/5 for food service and value. I previously booked the day before on the website and received no confirmation of booking but turned anyway and I were expected and promptly seated.

Booked here for Mothers Day lunch, absolutely excellent food & service. Menu choice was exceptional from freshly cooked Sunday lunches to pizza & pasta. Food was served in a timely manner, hot & tasty. Table’s spaciously set out, busy but not overcrowded. Definitely recommend 5*

This was our 4th visit and we were not disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff and a terrific meal. Excellent, and good value too. We would recommend Cucina for anyone looking for an evening meal.

Ordered the steak medium rare! When it came was very difficult to cut and to chew was impossible. Sent it back and replaced with chicken. Then we were told last orders at the bar were 20.30.The waiter told us if there were not enough people in there they had to close as what we were spending wouldn’t even cover his hourly rate. We were sat outside by 20.45 waiting for our taxi home . We have been dining at cucinas for a number of years. However, recently there has been an increase of quality restaurants in Morley this will be my last time at cucinas.

I was really impressed with the food, and I thought it was a good price.

Visit was a baby shower. Food was mediocre not at all worth £25 each. Would have expected at least one tea/ coffee in that price. Atmosphere was made by the party. The lady behind the bar was by far a misery & could tell she couldn't wait to get rid of us. I'm not encouraged to return

Six of us met for a birthday breakfast - 27th January. We ordered 4 x full English, 1 x bacon sandwich, 1 x currant teacake. The sandwich & teacake were ok. The full English were not so good. 3/4 bacon was undercooked and very fatty, mine looked anaemic. Sausages were poor quality 😢. My poached egg was rock hard, more like a bullet. My black pudding was undercooked and very soft. The beans, mushrooms & tomato were ok. Too much bread, with toast and fried bread. We had to ask for knives & forks, butter for the toast and sauces. The man bringing out the plates told us he was just helping out as they were short staffed, maybe thats why we didn't get any cutlery or condiments 🙄 Overall very disappointing especially for £10 each for FE. We won't be coming here again unless it improves.

Wonderful cafe/bistro. Warm, comfortable/cosy, and tastefully furnished. Popular with customers. The food and service is great. I highly recommend it.

We popped in on a super wet & cold Tuesday morning it was lovely to walk in to a cafe that was clean & warm environment with friendly staff welcoming us. The 3x egg omelettes served fairly fast along with the teas. Great tasting food with great service to match. *colslaw was missing from the order when quizzed staff was told they’d ran out. Suggestions would be to mention it upon order apart from that everything was perfect 👌

We have been regular customers since moving to Morley, had meals there at different times of the day, but there is more choice on the menu, if you get there before there is a rush, alot of things are off the menu if you are there later

Would give a minus rating if I could. 1 hour 15 minutes before I got my starter and I had to ask for it. How long does it take to heat some soup!! Only one chef working and I dont believe for one minute that they didnt know that earlier in the day knowing they had over 20 people on the same booking that evening. Abysmal service all round and I will not go there again.

Awful. The food is quite nice in general so it gets two stars, but the service is so slow. We had a big table and kids, so we could understand it being decently slow in general, but even being served took forever as the waiters just looked at us awkwardly. I was sick on this particular day and asked for my main to be boxed up, and even reheated it was quite nice which is at least a positive, but otherwise it’s just a shambles. Disappointing.

Not as good value as 2 years back . Had a beer with my meal. Supposed to be bitter tasted like vinegar. Problem with keg ? Couldn't be bothered complaining . May not go in again.

We came for breakfast on a Sunday morning and we’re there for just after they opened at 10am. One other family of 3 were in and ordered about 5 mins before us. We chose a table, took some menus from the bar and sat down. Menu had plenty of choice. We had 2 full English breakfasts and a kids fried egg on toast, plus drinks. After ordering and paying, our drinks were brought over after a few minutes. However food was much longer. The breakfasts were 40mins after paying and the egg on toast was another 5 minutes after that. Too long in my opinion. Our teas had gone cold by the time we got our breakfast and because we waited for the egg on toast to arrive before eating, our breakfasts had also started to go cold. We can’t fault the food. It was really nice but the length of time it took for food to arrive has put us off. If it’s taking so long, maybe offer another hot drink. There was no apology or even acknowledgment it was taking so long. Would we go back?? Probably, but I would definitely ask for the food the be brought out quicker. Another couple came in half an hour after us and we’re served their full English about 5 mins after us.

Well where do I start the service is very slow and disorganised waited nearly 45 minutes for my food and to add insult to injury the burger was still raw as shown in picture I raised my concerns to staff and not even a apology or even a replacement or refund very disappointed in you

Food was down hill the moment we walked into the place I felt very unwelcome and felt like the staff didn’t want to be there took to the table and then presented with a very limited menu not like it used to be. 20 mins wait for a drink and then 30mins waiting for a food order after which we was then approached by a bar worker asking us if we want more drinks and we kindly declined and then asked if our food was going to be arriving soon waited 60 mins for food and upon receiving these meals noticing that they must of been stood for a while as the risotto was stodgy and dry and my sauce for the steak had formed a thick skin also the veg I ordered was cold we will not be recommending this place again and will never return service was abysmal and shocking the way I was treated when I paid the bill when I said no tip on the card machine because of obvious reasons then also didn’t get a card receipt either and got glared at because I didn’t leave a tip this is no way to run a business and I will make sure every review place knows how bad this place is from now on. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Decided to go out for breakfast on Sunday gone. Thought somewhere local as it was about 10-15. Went in got seated. Waited for about 20 mins for our drinks to arrive. Looking around saw that their was a table of 8 or 10, then a table of 5 before us. Then a table of 2 came in. The table of 8 to 10 must have been waiting a while for their breakfast from the conversation going on. The service was poor to say the least. Some had had their breakfast and finished before the others had been served. The table of 5 had several cups of tea while waiting. Some were saying they are now starving. "we should have gone for a take away." Theirs came but was still a bit disjointed. We were on the point of saying don't bother, we've waited too long. We were 40 mins from ordering the breakfast, to the getting it. We had 2 drinks to keep going before our breakfast. 40 mins to get beans on toast. My partner had the full breakfast. Not sure if it was because they were coming to the end of breakfast orders or not. If so then they should have told us about the wait. As a result will not bother again . It's a shame as the breakfast was nice when it came. We've eaten here before in the dining section in the evening. The service was good. The food as always was really good. WILL AVOID THE BREAKFAST SERVICE HERE IN THE FUTURE.

Wish they would get some other type of meat in, for the last 3 times, the roast meat sandwich was chicken, it would be nice if it was something else, otherwise food was fine, extremely hot day and one of the sun shades was broken, we had to move because of lack of shade,

Only had coffee too expensive. I have eaten here a couple of years ago wasn't impressed.

Food is decent but we visited with friends and ordered separately (about 2 minutes apart) but the food was brought out about 20 minutes apart, so we were eating when our friends were already finished. Also had card machine issues which meant it took about 5 minutes at the table to pay

Me and a friend called yesterday for a coffee and a soft drink. My coffee was lukewarm so my friend asked if it could be changed. Within a couple of minutes I had another coffee which had obviously been put in the microwave as I couldn't even touch the cup let alone drink the coffee. When I did try to drink the coffee it was boiling hot... had I spilt over myself I would have been scalded. Obviously they don't take kindly to criticism. There was a gentleman on the next table to us who said his beer was also sub standard.

Delicious Sunday roast, would recommend!

Terrible, me and my friend went for lunch and had the most tasteless meal ever, he ordered a risotto which was 90% onions and absolutely flavourless… and I had a pasta with seafood that only had 3 big prawns on it and rather burned roasted tomatoes in it… not salt at all 0%… we tried to fix it adding salt and pepper nut still not a nice meal… total disappointment because when you look at the place from outside it actually looks like they do high end food… lol 😂 far from that… maybe a place for drinks but food a big no no… ohhh almost forget we also ordered some ciabatta garlic bread, honestly that was an insult…

Met our friends here Thursday morning for coffee and a chat. To make a change from the usual place that we meet. So glad we did. Cucina is bright, clean and friendly it has a nice atmosphere and the staff are so helpful and cheerful. In fact we have arranged to meet up here again soon. The next time for lunch.

Food was good value and mostly nice however the pate lacked flavour and they did not have smoked haddock for the risotto but I was offered smoked salmon instead which was nice. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Friendly, professional and polite service and delicious food. They prepare the vegetarian roast potatoes and gravy seperate from the regular roast potatoes on request for a fully vegetarian meal. Was a very tasty nut roast. Nice selection of desserts too. There's a lot on the menu to try so I'll have to go back.

Drab food. Needs more flavour and twists. Ie the spinsch and ricotta pasta needs garlic and nutmeg and salt and pepper or other flavouring.. Prawns on crispy.toast with sessme seeds and soy sauce again needs something else to bring it alive. Lemon Cheesecake was good at least.

Had a nice lunch in this café/bar. Lovely hot food. A very popular place for young and old alike.

They turn the music off to let us know they wanted to go home at 20 to 10 when they didn’t close till 11 40

Had a lovely time here last night the food was delicious and great service from a very efficient waiter who looked after us will be returning, the bar has a good choice of drinks and having the bonus of having Aspalls cider on draught.😊

For it's position on the high street and being an Italian restaurant you would expect them to be able to cook a meatball that wasn't drier than the earth's crust

We dropped in for a drink before going to a nearby restaurant. Was there for approx 90 minutes. It was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant as was the atmosphere. Had their own lager which tasted good.

Comfortable place for a cheeky hot chocolate & breakfast sandwich whilst on an errand!

We were a party of 23 4 of our guests started soup then the manager came and asked could we finish in one hour and a half, I told him we had just got the soup he said he had another party booked. We then went on to the main meals. Three were sent back cold they warm them up but were still not edible. Then he started rushing us to cut the cake it was our diamond anniversary with all our family so we were very annoyed and complained but he said he had done his best with wasn’t good enough we spent nearly £450. pounds on this meal and were bitterly dissatisfied with his attitude then he said he would knock off 2 of the meals this is why we wouldn’t recommend the place to our worst enemies.

It's ok, it was a wet busy Saturday so it was kind of a dull atmosphere , rush rush rush but the staff were polite .... Will try again but maybe in the evening when it's more about the place and occasion

My parents paid for a meal for our family as a celebration of their 60th Wedding anniversary on Saturday there was 21 of us and had been booked a few months in advance. I was extremely disappointed that their day was spoiled by the poor food we were all served, most of the steaks were fatty and of poor quality, the pasta dishes were tasteless and cold, I had a Cucina pizza and it was half burnt. The man (manager) that was dealing with us was rude and dismissive, he spent more time fussing over the unused cutlery and removing the items not required. My daughter said to him he had brought the wrong food for my granddaughter and he argued with her saying she had ordered a pizza not pasta. We were due to arrive at 5pm and after the first 15 minutes he said we had only until 7pm as he had another booking and would we be finished by then which when my mother booked she was told there wasn’t a time restriction, at one point he even sent some other people over to our table for them to sit and order their food. The food service was reminiscent of a cheap cafe with the servers walking around with a tray of food or drinks shouting what they had to give out, it was a very disappointing experience and even though my elderly parents didn’t complain I do not feel they should have been expected to pay the full bill.

7 of us ate here on Friday Night. Great food and the manager who served was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.

Our waiter was exceptional, really friendly and even showed myself and my friend how to serve the napkins using their spoon and fork method. We had great conversation with him and he entertained us as we visited. The food was exceptional and I recommend the meatballs!

Had a lovely evening at cucina last week to celebrate my retirement from work. Thank you Rachel and everyone involved.

Very disappointing. Ordered bacon and poached egg on toast and asked for the bacon to be well done. It came with underdone bacon and the yolks of both eggs hard.

Great food, really nice brunch and pizzas too. Friendly service. Will go again.
