Cucina Cafe Bar & Restaurant in Leeds

Went for breakfast with my wife and newborn. Food was extremely good and came quick. Staff very friendly. We went on a week day so was quiet, but highly recommend the eggs florentine.

We went for a hot chocolate, which was delicious! Staff were friendly!

We went to this cafe bar as our original plan didn't work But we were pleasantly surprised with what was available The food selection in the cafe was good and it tasted really nice We would return next time we are in Morley The staff were helpful

Came here with a good friend of mine and went to the bar to place our order. A lady came over and took our order for two roast sandwiches complete with chips, a pot of gravy and two pints all for £30. The lady let us know it was roast chicken and we politely said that was fine. After a fairly reasonable 15-20 minutes food arrived and to our suprise we both opened our sandwich and and there appeared to be a lack of chicken on the bun ciabatta. The chips, the lager and the atmosphere we couldn't fault however, when leaving we did feel that we had been robbed especially considering that we had paid almost £9 per meal.

I was really impressed with the food, and I thought it was a good price.

Visit was a baby shower. Food was mediocre not at all worth £25 each. Would have expected at least one tea/ coffee in that price. Atmosphere was made by the party. The lady behind the bar was by far a misery & could tell she couldn't wait to get rid of us. I'm not encouraged to return

I had a chicken ciabata and chips with gravy. Son had club sandwiches. Very tasty. Fair price

Wonderful cafe/bistro. Warm, comfortable/cosy, and tastefully furnished. Popular with customers. The food and service is great. I highly recommend it.

Good food friendly staff and nice place for a catch up with friends and family

We popped in on a super wet & cold Tuesday morning it was lovely to walk in to a cafe that was clean & warm environment with friendly staff welcoming us. The 3x egg omelettes served fairly fast along with the teas. Great tasting food with great service to match. *colslaw was missing from the order when quizzed staff was told they’d ran out. Suggestions would be to mention it upon order apart from that everything was perfect 👌

Would give a minus rating if I could. 1 hour 15 minutes before I got my starter and I had to ask for it. How long does it take to heat some soup!! Only one chef working and I dont believe for one minute that they didnt know that earlier in the day knowing they had over 20 people on the same booking that evening. Abysmal service all round and I will not go there again.

Awful. The food is quite nice in general so it gets two stars, but the service is so slow. We had a big table and kids, so we could understand it being decently slow in general, but even being served took forever as the waiters just looked at us awkwardly. I was sick on this particular day and asked for my main to be boxed up, and even reheated it was quite nice which is at least a positive, but otherwise it’s just a shambles. Disappointing.

Not as good value as 2 years back . Had a beer with my meal. Supposed to be bitter tasted like vinegar. Problem with keg ? Couldn't be bothered complaining . May not go in again.

Well where do I start the service is very slow and disorganised waited nearly 45 minutes for my food and to add insult to injury the burger was still raw as shown in picture I raised my concerns to staff and not even a apology or even a replacement or refund very disappointed in you

Decided to go out for breakfast on Sunday gone. Thought somewhere local as it was about 10-15. Went in got seated. Waited for about 20 mins for our drinks to arrive. Looking around saw that their was a table of 8 or 10, then a table of 5 before us. Then a table of 2 came in. The table of 8 to 10 must have been waiting a while for their breakfast from the conversation going on. The service was poor to say the least. Some had had their breakfast and finished before the others had been served. The table of 5 had several cups of tea while waiting. Some were saying they are now starving. "we should have gone for a take away." Theirs came but was still a bit disjointed. We were on the point of saying don't bother, we've waited too long. We were 40 mins from ordering the breakfast, to the getting it. We had 2 drinks to keep going before our breakfast. 40 mins to get beans on toast. My partner had the full breakfast. Not sure if it was because they were coming to the end of breakfast orders or not. If so then they should have told us about the wait. As a result will not bother again . It's a shame as the breakfast was nice when it came. We've eaten here before in the dining section in the evening. The service was good. The food as always was really good. WILL AVOID THE BREAKFAST SERVICE HERE IN THE FUTURE.

£6:50 for two clap cold coffees and please don’t say why didn’t you tell us and we’d have gladly changed them what is it with coffee shops serving cold coffee

Wish they would get some other type of meat in, for the last 3 times, the roast meat sandwich was chicken, it would be nice if it was something else, otherwise food was fine, extremely hot day and one of the sun shades was broken, we had to move because of lack of shade,

Only had coffee too expensive. I have eaten here a couple of years ago wasn't impressed.

Food is decent but we visited with friends and ordered separately (about 2 minutes apart) but the food was brought out about 20 minutes apart, so we were eating when our friends were already finished. Also had card machine issues which meant it took about 5 minutes at the table to pay

Great Restaurant Either Dinner, Lunch or just Coffee. Now the Mad, incredibly Rude and Miserable Woman has left its brilliant !

Me and a friend called yesterday for a coffee and a soft drink. My coffee was lukewarm so my friend asked if it could be changed. Within a couple of minutes I had another coffee which had obviously been put in the microwave as I couldn't even touch the cup let alone drink the coffee. When I did try to drink the coffee it was boiling hot... had I spilt over myself I would have been scalded. Obviously they don't take kindly to criticism. There was a gentleman on the next table to us who said his beer was also sub standard.

Delicious Sunday roast, would recommend!

Terrible, me and my friend went for lunch and had the most tasteless meal ever, he ordered a risotto which was 90% onions and absolutely flavourless… and I had a pasta with seafood that only had 3 big prawns on it and rather burned roasted tomatoes in it… not salt at all 0%… we tried to fix it adding salt and pepper nut still not a nice meal… total disappointment because when you look at the place from outside it actually looks like they do high end food… lol 😂 far from that… maybe a place for drinks but food a big no no… ohhh almost forget we also ordered some ciabatta garlic bread, honestly that was an insult…

I wouldn't say there is much in wat of service you order at the bar. The food is bought out and thats the end of service.

I had garlic mushroom as starter and surf and turf for main, it was alright, could have been better but enjoyable!

Met our friends here Thursday morning for coffee and a chat. To make a change from the usual place that we meet. So glad we did. Cucina is bright, clean and friendly it has a nice atmosphere and the staff are so helpful and cheerful. In fact we have arranged to meet up here again soon. The next time for lunch.

We only had coffee, but very pleasant,

Food was good value and mostly nice however the pate lacked flavour and they did not have smoked haddock for the risotto but I was offered smoked salmon instead which was nice. Great service and lovely atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Friendly, professional and polite service and delicious food. They prepare the vegetarian roast potatoes and gravy seperate from the regular roast potatoes on request for a fully vegetarian meal. Was a very tasty nut roast. Nice selection of desserts too. There's a lot on the menu to try so I'll have to go back.

Drab food. Needs more flavour and twists. Ie the spinsch and ricotta pasta needs garlic and nutmeg and salt and pepper or other flavouring.. Prawns on crispy.toast with sessme seeds and soy sauce again needs something else to bring it alive. Lemon Cheesecake was good at least.

Had a nice lunch in this café/bar. Lovely hot food. A very popular place for young and old alike.

They turn the music off to let us know they wanted to go home at 20 to 10 when they didn’t close till 11 40

Had a lovely time here last night the food was delicious and great service from a very efficient waiter who looked after us will be returning, the bar has a good choice of drinks and having the bonus of having Aspalls cider on draught.😊

For it's position on the high street and being an Italian restaurant you would expect them to be able to cook a meatball that wasn't drier than the earth's crust

We dropped in for a drink before going to a nearby restaurant. Was there for approx 90 minutes. It was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant as was the atmosphere. Had their own lager which tasted good.

Comfortable place for a cheeky hot chocolate & breakfast sandwich whilst on an errand!

We were a party of 23 4 of our guests started soup then the manager came and asked could we finish in one hour and a half, I told him we had just got the soup he said he had another party booked. We then went on to the main meals. Three were sent back cold they warm them up but were still not edible. Then he started rushing us to cut the cake it was our diamond anniversary with all our family so we were very annoyed and complained but he said he had done his best with wasn’t good enough we spent nearly £450. pounds on this meal and were bitterly dissatisfied with his attitude then he said he would knock off 2 of the meals this is why we wouldn’t recommend the place to our worst enemies.

It's ok, it was a wet busy Saturday so it was kind of a dull atmosphere , rush rush rush but the staff were polite .... Will try again but maybe in the evening when it's more about the place and occasion

My parents paid for a meal for our family as a celebration of their 60th Wedding anniversary on Saturday there was 21 of us and had been booked a few months in advance. I was extremely disappointed that their day was spoiled by the poor food we were all served, most of the steaks were fatty and of poor quality, the pasta dishes were tasteless and cold, I had a Cucina pizza and it was half burnt. The man (manager) that was dealing with us was rude and dismissive, he spent more time fussing over the unused cutlery and removing the items not required. My daughter said to him he had brought the wrong food for my granddaughter and he argued with her saying she had ordered a pizza not pasta. We were due to arrive at 5pm and after the first 15 minutes he said we had only until 7pm as he had another booking and would we be finished by then which when my mother booked she was told there wasn’t a time restriction, at one point he even sent some other people over to our table for them to sit and order their food. The food service was reminiscent of a cheap cafe with the servers walking around with a tray of food or drinks shouting what they had to give out, it was a very disappointing experience and even though my elderly parents didn’t complain I do not feel they should have been expected to pay the full bill.

7 of us ate here on Friday Night. Great food and the manager who served was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.

Our waiter was exceptional, really friendly and even showed myself and my friend how to serve the napkins using their spoon and fork method. We had great conversation with him and he entertained us as we visited. The food was exceptional and I recommend the meatballs!

Freshly prepared food ,very clean ,enjoyed a lunch time visit with friends .

Very disappointing. Ordered bacon and poached egg on toast and asked for the bacon to be well done. It came with underdone bacon and the yolks of both eggs hard.

Great food, really nice brunch and pizzas too. Friendly service. Will go again.

Strange place walked in for the wine and dine midweek special offer and was told it was fully booked even though all the tables were empty. I then asked if we could have the midweek special in the bar area , we were told we wasn't allowed to have the special in the bar so we would have to pay full price in the bar area and half price in the restaurant the place is weird and the manager is miserable go elsewhere and feel welcome.

We called in last night without a booking, we were lucky to get in as a large party were in celebrating. The service was friendly and welcoming, we ordered deep fried mozzarella and the garlic mushrooms to start, both excellent and the burger and a pizza for the mains, again they were home made and also excellent! We were very impressed with the whole experience, especially as it was so busy with the large party being in We will definitely be calling again

Fantastic service and delicious food! There’s not much more I can say other than “Go and grab your purse/man-bag/trousers and get yourself over here for some food!!” Special shoutout to the servers this evening, they were lovely human beings who really showed genuine care for their customers.

Called in on Sunday for drinks a week or so ago, was busier than I expected for a Sunday afternoon.

Have been here a few times before, however today they did not meet standards. Food and drink was great as usual, however the service was lacking. Everything ordered came in quickly, but service afterwards was non existent. 30 minutes and tableware was not picked up. The café wasn't busy, and servers kept looking at our table then walking away. Finally had to go up to the bar/order area to address it, and even then, only when asked for a take out box, had one of the severs finally picked something up from our table. Then left the remaining dishes for another 15 minutes until we finally were ready to leave.

We had Afternoon Tea, it was beautiful. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and lots of seating for groups. Could have more vegan options, however the food is delicious.

Would give it 0 stars if I could. We had a table booked at 2030, but due to traffic we where 14 minutes late. On arrival we where told "as we didn't turn up on time, the kitchen is closed" food is supposedly served untill 2230. haha what a joke!

Would give 0 star NOT THE TEAMS FAULT, very under staffed THE OWNERS FAULT. Food 1hour wait burger on the gantry too long, wrap cold and ceaser salad chucked together quickly, again staff running around doing amazing, look at the owner pay more on Labour
