Ordered food the waitresses were great, the food was good, quite a lot of choice on the menu, overall a very enjoyable meal.

Throughout the meal, Akash displayed exceptional service skills. He was always prompt and attentive, ensuring my glass was never empty and I had everything I needed. His friendly demeanour and genuine smile created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel like a valued guest. I loved the food and environment. I would highly recommend dining in between 8:30-9:30 PM.

I had been there for couple of days and had my food and drinks at the bar restaurant. It was a busy day at the evening. But, the service was good from their end. The fish and chips is the best one here and will recommend for having this one is a must.

It was a great dinning experience in this restaurant and bar,we were nicely explained about menu and drinks by manager Brijesh which was very eye appealing and delicious,I recommend to everyone this is must visit place

The food really was extremely tasty - the Sizzler from the Specials menu was sensational. But service was very slow and the customer service was appalling. There was one colleague, Piotr, who was very good, but he was definitely the exception.

Have stayed at the Crowne Plaza a number of times and eaten here twice. The nachos are to die for, as is the veggie pasta dish. It’s a typical hotel restaurant and sadly the attached Bar is closed due to Covid (an excuse I don’t get) The place is light & bright. I prefer the more relaxed area of the bar lounge area. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if you’re staying then it’s a good, relaxing place.

Excellent food. Service just right. Clean and tidy. Lovely staff. Comfortable room. Just an over priced bar.

Estuvimos una noche en el hotel, comimos y "cenamos" en su restaurante. La verdad es que la comida no está nada mal, el panini y la hamburguesa, también las setas, pero el servicio del restaurante deja bastante que desear... Parece que te están haciendo un favor y eso no deja buena sensación. Parece que les molestas... 😅 Y la comida tarda bastante en salir... Pidas lo que pidas incluso un simple sándwich.

The menu is s good and the quality excellent. Service was friendly and quick but the place lacked atmosphere and was dull. The bar/lounge area next to it was bright with multiple seating options and a great atmosphere Restaurant is also used for the excellent hotel buffet breakfast

The service was outstanding, everything else terribly average. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order, and another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Steak was over cooked and bland. The sea bream was lovely. Sides were over cooked and tasteless. Overpriced for what we got - £4 for a tiny bowl of broccoli swimming in water, and another £4 for a tiny bowl of frozen onion rings. Desserts were so sweet and straight out of a packet. We ate here for convenience as we were staying at Crowne Plaza, but we wouldn’t rush to return.

...when we stay (often) at ths hotel. Not only is it very comnvenient, but there are always some good deals for food invariably of a high standard. The staff are as you would expect in a hotel of this rating - very pleasant and efficient. It goes without saying that whenever we stay at this hotel, we always make the stay complete by using the Cube Restaurant.

I ate here several times as I was on location for work and everything that I ordered was fast in delivery and high in flavor. I highly recommend this place for dinner.

Considering Christmas Parties going on, the service was pretty good and didn't take too long....server Olga was rushed but did a good job.

It's easy to be critical, and Christmas dinners can be pretty dire, I wasn't expecting much, but this one went part of the way. I wasn't paying for this, work was, but I doubt I'd spend my own cash here. it was a good convivial occasion, not a bad atmosphere, everyone was enjoying themselves. Service was as good as could be expected and it was very easy to get the attention of a staff member when needed. The food was ok, a characterless salmon mouse accompanied some quite good smoked salmon. It was nicely pated fine dining style. The fine dining look-alike theme continued with the turkey rolled in bacon. Three slices, a couple of sprouts, some stuffing a bit of carrot, a little potato. There was some thick glutenous gravy, it didn't look or taste home made. Dessert was ok, but not exciting. There was a massive variation in the approches to plate decoration. I don't normally photograph fellow diners dinners, but I made an exception here.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, a prawn cocktail to start and Penne pasta with roasted vegetables, along with a really good quality lasagne and garlic bread. The food was very nice, but what really shone was the great service. We have rarely come across such warm and friendly service, a special mention to Alex who was really lovely and a real asset to the restaurant. We would definitely eat here again.

I dined at the Cube Restaurant on 22.09.2018 whilst I was staying the hotel.

The place was nice but the food was awful and the servers were amateurs. The chef was new and he does not know how to cook for high end restaurant. It was waste of money.

Dinner in the Cube was good choice on a rainy night. I had a starter dinner. I had the onion and goat cheese tart with salad of asparagus, Parma ham and quail eggs. Both dishes were freshly prepared and delicious.

Very good food at reasonable price. Choice of menu limited, though, stopping me giving 5 stars. Service very good also. I do recommend eating here

Menú genial, desgraciadamente, la comida es de muy mala calidad. Entrantes - Mejillones eran sosas, y blanco. Las cebollas estaban crudas. Codornices huevos y espárragos consistía en las blandas espárragos y huevos eran oscuros donde habían sido alto. Mi tamaño carne rara salió como bien hecho, la salsa que acompaña el uso era caramelised.

Yo estaba alojado en el Crowne Plaza, así que comimos en el cubo. Ensalada roquefort seguido de bistec y patatas fritas - comida sin complicaciones servidos con panache y estilo.

Me pareció que era bastante asqueroso, la última vez que comimos allí, pero tiene peor. Es mi culpa que comí aquí - estaba tan agotado después de un día de viaje, y sin embargo la comida era aún más penoso que la última vez que comimos allí. Sin sabor y mal cocinada y en realidad dudoso raro si eso tiene sentido. Es como si un chico de 17 años sólo están equipadas con un microondas y freidora grasa profunda ha decidido intentar aparentar que él está en chef maestro. Incluso el pan rancio y el medio la mantequilla congelada. Horrible. Creo que la próxima vez que sólo hambre.

Had a quick bite to eat here before heading to gatwick. Uninspiring Manu that I feel is overpriced. Ordered steak in ciabatta - no ciabatta ! My chips were quite obviously reheats and there was no vinegar in the pot of sauces. Quite underwhelmed

Visité aquí por negocios y créeme, simplemente tomar un paseo y vete a otro sitio. El único punto a favor de este restaurante es el encantador personal. Son tristemente decepción por cualquier medio presiente va tonterías en la cocina. Pedí tempura de gambas. La pasta estaba pasada y bastante poco apetecible. Pero lo que hizo este horror de una comida era el vegetal moussaka. La placa estaba en la temperatura de la superficie del sol, pero la comida era realmente poco hecha. El papa en mi moussaka estaba crudo. Me refiero a que lleva haciendo. A sólo 10 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad y conseguir algo mejor.

Comimos en la zona de salón. Esperamos casi una hora por un superficial £17 curry. He tenido mejor en weatherpoons. Gerente no ofrecer una restitución por exportación. Decía todo el mundo pidió al mismo tiempo. No había demasiada gente. Tomó alrededor de otra hora que la perseguía la restitución. El personal era muy atento, el gerente necesita una formación en servicio al cliente.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food in the restaurant. We ordered pasta and steak and it was delicious, great service too.

Pretty standard sort of fair. OK, but you would be fed up with the menu by the second night of eating there.

I visited this venue earlier this month, my second attempt, and sadly it will be my last.Poor service, poor quality food and high charges have made up my mind. Complimentary glasses of wine, desserts are great but I'd rather have a good quality, good value, well presented, hot meal anytime.Ask the management / owners to conduct a secret shopper visit and get a feel for whats on offer to guests........even they won't return.

It's either eat here or go hungry. That should not be a criteria for your dinner decision. Since this is advertised as an airport hotel but it's not near the airport, you've got no choice. The choice is poor and the food is just ok. Portions are small too.

I came with a friend, a lady came up and asked if I would like any thing , tea / coffee . I asked for a pint of beer , I was told come to the bar ( couldn't she have brought it over ) a nice new bar area as well , I have been served drinks there before and not ask to go to the bar. I went up to be told I could only have a half as they had run out. I said "that's not good bar management for a weekend to run out of the premium beer " answer "no we haven't but will take ages to get the barrel changes " really not good enough. I feel there is a change of bar / restaurant manager there, as the customer service has gone down hill . Such lovely refurbished bar but standards have dropped .

6 of us at a table ordered dinner at 8 and didn't get served until 845 with no cutlery until we asked for it, order dessert at 910 and didn't get get until 930 and again no cutlery until we asked. No idea what took so long but they had the cheek to ask why we didn't want to pay the service charge!!! IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! food otherwise was tasty hence the 2 stars but sort out your waiting staff

A very disappointing meal all around. The lamb rump was meant to be medium rare and it was clearly very well done! We ordered 2 G&Ts prior to eating and they took 20 minutes to reach us and our food order had still not been taken! Sparkling wine was served at room temperature...all in all a very poor experience which we certainly will not be repeating.

Restaurant is too bright and food is slow. Lovely and polite service from the staff but they cannot differentiate between a couple on holiday and a business man who just wants to eat and go back to the room. If you have the time then go to a decent local pub. If not then bring a newspaper for the in between courses.

I stayed here for two nights before and after my flight ( 3 days apart ) the service food and drinks were excellent I was served both nights by Kirsty she was superb not only did she remember me she recalled what I had to eat and drink well done

This is in the hotel and serves much the same as other chain operator food. It is not spectacular but it is tasty and fulfils a need.

I had the starter of poached duck egg over black pudding. Very good dish. Main was pan fried duck breast and potatoes. Average wine list. Good meal for a hotel meal without going out. Very friendly waitstaff.

Had some dinner here while staying at the hotel for one night. Staff friendly and food good! Price reasonable!

Stayed @ the crowne plaza before flying from gatwick. Had read after booking that was being refurbished at the moment. The restaurant cube has already been done!! It was amazing. The food and service was fantastic!! Can not fault them in any way!! Both meals was delicious. Great start to our holiday!!

This restaurant was well over priced and the food wasn't up to our standards.there was hardly anything to choose from on the menu.

This restaurant is well below the par. The menu is limited , expensive and not the quality normally expected. The breakfast was acceptable and good.

The items are bit pricey for the vegetarians items. The spreads for vegetarians are very limited particularly for dinner.

We had dinner here before flying the next morning, while staying at the hotel. It is not the cheapest but was very nice. Food was cooked well presented nice, and staff were friendly, well worth it if you are staying in the hotel.

Better than expected for an inclusive menu. Shame the drinks prices are so extortionate! Recommend finding a local pub within walking distance as there's nothing else to do now they have shut the pool down

We stayed in the hotel before our holiday. All wanting something to eat we decided that steak would be the way forward, and it was. We all ordered our steak the way we wanted and they all arrived as we had ordered them. Delicious!!!

We had dinner in the Cube while staying for a night at the hotel. The service was very good and the menu adequate without being inspiring. I chose the daily special which was duck breast with fondant potato. The duck was fine, cooked well, tender and tasty but the dish was let down by the fondant potato that had that 'reheated' taste. I had the cheese board for dessert, and was disappointed to find the cheese was very cold, obviously having been taken out of a cold fridge which is not the way to serve cheese. It was a shame that two simple things spoiled what would otherwise have been a very good meal. On a positive note, the breakfast choice the following morning was very good.

This is not fine dining but we have eaten here several times while staying at the hotel and have found something to please every time,Food has been good and children catered for.Just the job when staying here as a stop over to the airport.

Having made a reservation for dinner, we arrived at 8.45pm, to be told that owing to a lot of demand with the hotel for room service, things were taking a while. The hotel certainly wasn’t full, and there didn't seem to be any functions, but we could deal with that and asked to be taken to our table and have a drink there while things quietened down.At 9pm we had heard 3 ladies a table a few away from ours (those in between were empty) complain that in two hours they had been served one course. There seemed to be a few staff milling around doing very little, but after 20 minutes of conspicuously ignoring us I had to get up and ask the maître d if we could, infact, order some drinks. These duly arrived, although we had asked for ice and lemon in the glasses with the accompanying bottle of sparkling mineral water and, you guessed it, neither appeared. So we had to ask again.The menu is quite limited, but we ordered Duck Breast and “Prime Cut Scottish Sirloin Steak”. Presuming that all was in order, and not being advised to the contrary, we were surprised 20 minutes later to be told that there was no duck. It was almost a Fawlty Towers like moment, as I pictured Basil saying ‘duck’s off’. My wife had another look at the menu and ordered “Prime Cut Scottish Ribeye Steak”, cooked black and blue. The restaurant now nearly empty and, presumably, with room service diners by now sated, our steaks arrived. Well, something did.My sirloin was average to poor at best. What my wife was served was, without a shadow of doubt, nothing remotely like what she had ordered or was stated on the menu. Effectively it was just a lump of lump of gristle, cooked by someone who clearly hadn’t got the vaguest idea of what a black and blue steak is. It was, of course, sent back but by now it was approaching half ten and the waiting staff were busily clanking around setting up for breakfast. We departed after what had been, quite frankly, a shambles.

Tried the cube restaurant when staying in Crawley,the place is situated inside the crown plaza hotel,the staff are friendly and attentive for a busy hotel.The food was ok,but the menu did not have much choice,I had the steak,but to be hones this was not a 21 days matured Scottish steak as advertised,it just looked like a cheap supermarket steak and for £30 was not very good value for money,needs to try better.

We were staying at the Crowne Plaza and had dinner here on Nov 28th. Our server was very friendly and presented me with a card and mini box of chocolates as it was my birthday. We ordered the butternut squash risotto and chicken breast with chips both meals were cooked well and we both thoroughly enjoyed them. We were too stuffed to have dessert, maybe next time!

The Cube restaurant sits within an 'airport' hotel, The Crowne Plaza, nevertheless it is still a pleasant enough environment for a meal even if you are not travelling. The restaurant is at the edge of the impressive lobby just behind the bar, which also serves snacks.The Cube is very dimly lit but has a feel of privacy as the tables, certainly down the middle of the restaurant are not too close together.The food is good and the service as you would expect. However the menu choice is very limited but I guess they are set up for overnight holidaymakers / travellers therefore don't need to offer a wide choice. If you are local and like the restaurant you would struggle to eat here regularly.

Bar food at the Cube restaurant was hit and miss, the burgers looked very good unfortunately I chose the Thai curry which was a decent effort but certainly a microwaved dish. Not great value for money. Does the job for a hotel restaurant but I would certainly not take a trip to come just for dinner.Staff are very friendly and welcoming however

Through a dark, dim light setting, my approaching bavette steak was a sight to behold, until finally cut into. Dry, bland and I'm still picking bits of it from me teeth an hour later! Previous experience of this particular cut of steak have been nothing short of a joy everytime, and seeing as it is the start of my honeymoon, all previous memories have been diluted by this appalling attempt of grandeur! Even my wife's sirloin, though requested rare, came out medium/welldone with a lack of the slightest hint of seasoning, a school boy error to any chef. There is a McDonald's up the road, would recommend that than the beef here!

The Cube is a very well laid out restaurant which sits comfortably near the lobby / bar area of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. I ordered a bowl of olives for starters and followed up with a breast of chicken and a side salad. The food was very well presented and the main dish came with fresh chunky chips and vegetables. The service here is very good and the waitress was so polite and helpful and always smiling which makes a big difference to the overall experience of eating out.I only had a soft drink so I suppose the only thing that lets it down is the price at just a few pence under £30 this is not one of the most ecnomical meals I have had at a hotel.

Had a couple of 3 course evening meals and breakfasts here, pleasent service, good food, not bad value.

Buffet breakfast but without the mad rush in most buffet breakfasts. Good honest food, plenty of coffee, great start to the day.

It needs a complete revamp. Tired stained chair cusions and carpets. Old scratched wooden tables arranged like a works canteen.

We took advantage of the excellent arrangements this hotel has for parking with an overnight stay before an early morning flight, and decided to eat here rather than take to the road again, and were pleased we did so. The food was good and well presented and service friendly and excellent. The dining room and bar are quite good for a hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience, including hotel, and would certainly return if we had a similar flight.

The £60 meal was really good, modern and very tasty. Service excellent. House white included not so great I would try the red next time!
