'Sushi omakase course' was incredible. Every piece was absolutely delicious, and it was well worth the visit. We loved the chef's creations - each nigiri was perfectly seasoned, so you don't dip them in soy sauce, you just eat them as they are, fantastic. The temaki was without doubt the best one we've had. Counter seats are highly recommend as you get served one by one by the chef.

Overall quite good! All the sushi is very nicely prepared and presented—very tasty. I did the full omakase at the counter, but I also included a photo of some table-service preparation that looked equally good! The quality of everything is excellent; I don't think you'd be disappointed. The variety of fish is decent, but I was a little surprised to not see uni anywhere, nor many traditional Japanese fish—no kinmedai, kurodai, nodoguro, shima aji, or anything like that. They do have some daily specials, including some domestic caught fish, which is nice. The vibe at the sushi counter came across to me as a bit... distant? Cold? If you prefer that, this is your place. I enjoy when it feels more engaged and welcoming. Nice selection of Japanese whiskey - certainly a plus. For a nice area of a major city I think the price point of the omakase is totally reasonable. You just need a booking at the sushi counter and it's an option. All good stuff and worth a shout, just a bit short of what I was hoping for.

More of local Japanese omakase restaurant atmosphere which I like, does not mean it looks low quality. The sushi is relatively a higher quality for its price considering others within the central london area. Especially they have chutoro option for those who find Otoro is too greasy, their chutoro is the spot on option for Tuna. Decent Sake options, if you never tried Japanese Sake, try the white plum sake (I am not entirely sure the name). Reasonable omakase deals. If you are more of an experienced sushi lover and willing to try something that is not highly pricey, this could be a great option. Also, the location is not too far off from Bond Street Station.

Hands down my favourite Japanese food in London. Any time I'm in the area it's a must eat. For the price, their sashimi and sushi cannot be beaten (anywhere in Europe/UK). If you are an omakase connoisseur, there are some options that compete at maybe triple the price, otherwise there's only Cubé! Rice bowls are excellent and so is the beef. Other dishes are excellent too. Love the chicken karaage here, light (not too oily) yet perfectly crisped. Service is extremely friendly and attentive.

What an absolute gem. In a sea of mediocre or ludicrously expensive London sushi restaurants, Cube stands out as not only excellent, but a great value as well. An unfussy - but still charming - interior is the backdrop for easily my favorite sushi meal I have had in London. Definitely recommend sitting at the counter and going for the omakase which is a steal for the quality on offer at £108. The sake list is also top notch and we received excellent guidance from Shunpei in selecting a truly delicious bottle to pair with our dinner. In short, everything about the evening was eminently enjoyable. I would highly recommend Cube!

Unfortunately the restaurant is too commercially run, rather than focusing on serving the best quality sushi to customers. All the chefs during lunch time are trained by the Japanese head chef, they are friendly but technique is not on par with high end sushi. To be fair, price is cheap for omakase, the issue is more around the freshness of the fish (mostly around toro), ingredients quality and cutting techniques. I liked my sushi chef, very friendly. However, the other service staff can be more attentive. The first floor is a bit rundown and not very clean. All is all, below average food, despite cheaper price point, not worth it.

It’s a horrible experience. We booked for 3 people at the counter and when we arrived we were put on to table service. When we spoke to the “manager” (guy with glasses) he told me it’s the best he can do and he blamed that we didn’t call in advance. Yeah that’s fine then we ok for it. After that we started dining and they served 5 sushi at once. Well that’s not OMAKASE is it? We raised the question and the so called “manager” start arguing with us saying we either take it or leave it because “that’s the best he can do”. All we wanted was a sushi to be served INDIVIDUALLY as we are paying for Omakase service but he just said no and not even apologized. This is 0/10 customer service and we had to drop out without finishing because we cannot digest food in that environment All the manager should have done is say sorry but he never did it. Arrogant manager. Not the chefs fault, they are lovely but the manager ruined it NEVER COME BACK AGAIN

This is my 2nd lunchtime visit, and I had a very disappointing experience this time. I liked the restaurant, but I will never come back again. If I had not had this disappointing experience, I would have visited there regularly because I have periodic meetings near the restaurant. I ordered a 'Sushi & Sashimi set’. There were 3 types of Sashimi, 4 pieces of Sushi, and 1 kind of Maki(6 pieces). However, as you can see in my picture, over half of the plate was just salmon (almost all of the left side of the plate was salmon). A customer sitting next to me ordered the same meal, but she has got a totally different variety of sushi on her plate, which included Tuna Sushi and scallop Sushi etc. (I just glanced at her plate). I asked a waiter why and he just answered that it should depend on the situation of their stock of ingredients. That’s why the menu does not specify anything about what kinds of sushi include in the set of food. Alright. I know where you are coming from, but it sounds beautiful excuse. Who happily expects 2 pieces of salmon sashimi, salmon sushi, and 6 pieces of salmon Maki in one plate of a Set of Sushi meals, though? I felt sick of too much salmon. In addition, the timing of my order and the customer were just 10 mins apart. Does this make such a significant difference in the contents of a plate? As a Japanese national, I am so dispaired of being treated like this at a so-called high-quality Japanese restaurant. I would share this dissatisfying experience with my Japanese/non-Japanese friends.

Felt like a complete rip off, wondering if I should have gone to Citizens Advice. We just didn’t really understand the pricing on the menu, as for two person meal, it came up to a total of £449.10. When we placed our order, it was placed for one portion of each item, for example their salad was priced at £10.00 so we placed an order for that and other things as well. All the food items came on one plate (not two portions). However when we got the bill, everything was charged at double the price, so the salad was £20.00 (£10.00 per person) although only one portion, as per photo. The most ridiculous was the rice, one bowl of rice was priced at £4.00, we were served one bowl but charged 2x£4.00. Is this normal? Am I just being really ignorant to the way ordering or pricing is? But I have never been to a restaurant like that. The other thing I could not understand was 5 kinds of sashimi, with 3 pieces each, that was charged at 2 x£58. However the sashimi seabream also 3 pieces was £15, so it would make sense to order a single item. It was just so strange, if you attend as a single person would you only get charged 1x £58 but also 5 kinds of sashimi at 3 pieces each? However, when we ordered the dessert that only came as 1 item each and charged as 1 item each which was normal. Anyone else has the same experience please share… Would appreciate if the restaurant wants to explain. Food was good otherwise.

Lovely Hamachi Yuzu Ponzu and Sashimi-Otoro. Wagyu tataki was very underwhelming. Fantastic service

I had the £68 omakase lunch. Each piece of sushi was served at the counter by the chef and the chef explained where the sushi originated from. This added greatly to the experience It was expensive, especially when you factor in the (absolutely anti Japanese) service charge, but it's Mayfair so to be expected. The photo is of an additional dish ordered. I think eel. My British Japanese friend helped me order by discussing the menu in Japanese with the Japanese chef. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended

We were two people for an early O-makase dinner at the bar. The service was with great attention to detail and we could savour each dish with an explanation about the origin of each fish and the chosen seasoning. Yuzu and salt on the squid were a great fit. Spanish tuna was perfectly fatty. We also had the unusual, but delicious charred Wagyu nigiri. It reminded me of the small sushi bars in Tokyo as it was completely authentic with some Japanese clientele visiting and a generally cosy and friendly atmosphere. I liked the locally sourced fish where it was possible. If you prefer not sitting at the bar, there are also a few small tables at the back, although sitting at the bar is really great for seeing the chef's work and for chatting with them. I definitely want to come here again.

Visited twice since December 2022 Good service from all the servers and chefs. They are all polite and kind, always wear a smile. Not a big restaurant, but have decent dining atmosphere. food portions were above average and prices were reasonable. I can rank this among top 3 London authentic sushi. Will visit often.

Food was great and for the price you get quality. However, the staff was a bit rushed. They would ask quite frequently if we ready to order, so go in with what in mind what you want as they will expect you to order quickly and try to get the table back.

I had been here a few years ago and loved this place, but unfortunately it seems it’s permanently closed? Their website is still live (July 2024), we tried to reserve by filling in a form on their site but got no response. Went their without reservation during stated opening hours. Not only was the restaurant closed but the signage had been removed from the exterior of the building.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Grill, where we came to celebrate a special moment as a group of friends. The menu offers something for all tastes, combining grill classics with a much welcome twist and modern flare, while the elegant yet warm setting is perfect to celebrate a special occasion without being too formal. The quality of service did stand out: Martina, the sommelière, did a fantastic job suggesting perfect wines to match our dishes, while Marine and and Olga made us feel as if we were the only guests, even on a busy Saturday night. The best part is that you will have a great time here whether you're a true epicurean, wine connoisseur, or simply someone who's looking to have a good time and tasty food (we had all these characters in our group!): the staff will cater to your style and make your time here so good you'll want to become a regular!

This is a great place for African fusion and the chef is very skilled. We had the tiger prawns and they were in a very flavorful sauce. Our server recommended the coco bread to go with it and we’re happy we ordered both. I had the chicken yassa with a side of Ma’s Benachin rice and both were wonderful. The staff was really friendly and if we lived closer we would go back in a second!
