Nigiri was good with clear explanations, including the origin of fish by the chef at the sushi counter. But one nigiri was missing, making it just 9 pieces, not 10 as advertised on their omakase menu. So I raised that with the server to see which nigiri was missing. The server queried if I had forgotten to take photos, and I was fuming inside why customers were required to provide photo evidence of what they ate and what not. Then I replied calmly I could show her the time when the photos were taken (consistency of everything I had taken photos of). I took written notes of each nigiri as the chef explained the ingredients and took photos of the chef working and the final product. I genuinely enjoyed the exquisiteness of Japanese cuisine. The restaurant was very busy around 6pm on a Monday evening when customers rushed in all at the same time for dinner service. The chef did slice a bunch of akami, chutoro, and otoro, but none landed on my plate as the first nigiri. My first nigiri was hamachi. After the server and the chef communicated in Japanese, Chef responded in Japanese that he would do the 10th nigiri I guessed from his body language. The server said in English to me that the chef was sure there was no mistake but could do that as complimentary. When presenting the bill, they put the other two nigiri on the side as complimentary as well. The experience would have been better if they acknowledged the missing nigiri and provided it, rather than going through the argument, not apologetic, yet with "complimentary" food. After the 10th nigiri was served, I was 100% sure that was the missing piece. I did not have it on my plate as the chef said that should be the first nigiri. And when I looked through the photos of the busy kitchen, I spotted the nigiri of the same type on at least two separate platters serving the customers at the table, not at the counter. The restaurant could take this to verify with their orders around the same time at 6pm. Foodwise, all went well; the argument with the server about the missing piece on the omasake menu spoiled everything.

By far, the best sushi in London!!! The service was also really accommodating and friendly, making celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday so lovely! We both agreed that the quality and freshness of the fish was impeccable; the sea urchin served to us was just imported that day (from Iceland!). Our highlights were the octopus, fatty tuna, king crab tempura and green tea brownie! Definitely coming back again (and again) - so glad we decided to try this new find! Such a breath of fresh air to have a humble (and more traditional style) sushi dining experience, without all the unnecessary extra glitz and glam! A MUST GO!!!

Hands down one of our favorite meals in London. The place was tiny and the staff were all welcoming and great. Now onto the meal. We did the Omakase at the counter and if you like amazing nigiri and hand rolls, this is the place for you. We ordered several additional pieces (because it was so amazing, not because we were hungry) and chef even did a couple special request pieces for us. Their sake list was brief but still great options and they helped guide us through our choices. Highly recommend and as noted tiny so make a reservation. Update: went back last night (December 12, 2024) and exact same great experience and omakase. Such amazing food and genuine service. On our permanent London rotation.

More of local Japanese omakase restaurant atmosphere which I like, does not mean it looks low quality. The sushi is relatively a higher quality for its price considering others within the central london area. Especially they have chutoro option for those who find Otoro is too greasy, their chutoro is the spot on option for Tuna. Decent Sake options, if you never tried Japanese Sake, try the white plum sake (I am not entirely sure the name). Reasonable omakase deals. If you are more of an experienced sushi lover and willing to try something that is not highly pricey, this could be a great option. Also, the location is not too far off from Bond Street Station.

Overall quite good! All the sushi is very nicely prepared and presented—very tasty. I did the full omakase at the counter, but I also included a photo of some table-service preparation that looked equally good! The quality of everything is excellent; I don't think you'd be disappointed. The variety of fish is decent, but I was a little surprised to not see uni anywhere, nor many traditional Japanese fish—no kinmedai, kurodai, nodoguro, shima aji, or anything like that. They do have some daily specials, including some domestic caught fish, which is nice. The vibe at the sushi counter came across to me as a bit... distant? Cold? If you prefer that, this is your place. I enjoy when it feels more engaged and welcoming. Nice selection of Japanese whiskey - certainly a plus. For a nice area of a major city I think the price point of the omakase is totally reasonable. You just need a booking at the sushi counter and it's an option. All good stuff and worth a shout, just a bit short of what I was hoping for.

What an absolute gem. In a sea of mediocre or ludicrously expensive London sushi restaurants, Cube stands out as not only excellent, but a great value as well. An unfussy - but still charming - interior is the backdrop for easily my favorite sushi meal I have had in London. Definitely recommend sitting at the counter and going for the omakase which is a steal for the quality on offer at £108. Unfortunately the restaurant is too commercially run, rather than focusing on serving the best quality sushi to customers. All the chefs during lunch time are trained by the Japanese head chef, they are friendly but technique is not on par with high end sushi. To be fair, price is cheap for omakase, the issue is more around the freshness of the fish (mostly around toro), ingredients quality and cutting techniques. I liked my sushi chef, very friendly. However, the other service staff can be more attentive. The first floor is a bit rundown and not very clean. All is all, below average food, despite cheaper price point, not worth it.

It’s a horrible experience. We booked for 3 people at the counter and when we arrived we were put on to table service. When we spoke to the “manager” (guy with glasses) he told me it’s the best he can do and he blamed that we didn’t call in advance. Yeah that’s fine then we ok for it. After that we started dining and they served 5 sushi at once. Well that’s not OMAKASE is it? We raised the question and the so called “manager” start arguing with us saying we either take it or leave it because “that’s the best he can do”. All we wanted was a sushi to be served INDIVIDUALLY as we are paying for Omakase service but he just said no and not even apologized. This is 0/10 customer service and we had to drop out without finishing because we cannot digest food in that environment All the manager should have done is say sorry but he never did it. Fancy & high-end sushi restaurant in London. Seating is usually pretty limited so make sure to get a reservation if you want to eat here. If you're feeling adventurous, try the hot sake! Food is excellent but definitely pricey. If you're a fan of sushi, this is definitely worth a visit. The sushi was excellent, service was good, and the overall experience was lovely.

Cubé is the real deal. If you are looking for an authentic Japanese sushi experience, then look no further. Perfect for business meals, family gathering or for an intimate dinner-for-two! The restaurant isn’t large but it has a lovey peaceful atmosphere that works for any occasion. The service team here are friendly and attentive. I had both the nigiri sushi and several tempura dishes. Everything was executed with precision as one would expect. The taste was excellent. I’ve been to several Japanese restaurants in London and I can confidently say that the quality and experience of Cubé is one of the best. I will be back for more!

Лучший суши бар, который я посещал вне Японии. Только суши и сашими. Атмосфера от настоящей японской не отличается. Бар очень маленький - надо резервировать. 100% стоит идти.

Lovely, cozy decore. Brilliant and friendly service. Honestly wish I got our server's name, he was so nice, explained the menu well and had great energy. The food it self was excellent. The Yellow tail sashimi, wagyu steak slices and spicy Tuna Negiri were Honestly solid 9.2/10. Will definitely go back. Perfect for a date or a mate.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this is one that I have to get off my chest… My partner and I both experienced terrible food poisoning after eating here. We contacted their manager in goodwill to inform them of the situation. Throughout the entire email communication chain, they did not apologise nor own up to their fault once. After almost a week, Kenta asked us to provide stool samples (which by this time would have given inconclusive results anyway). In his own words “I do not think there is any negligence in that nor making your complaint invalid.” DO NOT COME HERE, unless you you want to get food poisoning and humiliated to jump through hoops of stool sample and investigation in order for them to accept responsibility!

Worst service I have ever had. Took them 20 mins to take our first order, and the tables around us had the same, they waited for 15 mins to get a drink. We went for the bottomless brunch, it's a rip off. They didn't have the edamame and would not replace it. The brunch is only sushi then and you can only order 1 roll at a time, then they give you a timelimit. This place is not worth it at all. The main floor is nice but they put you on an upper floor that feels like a cheap sushi place.

Date night here last night was lovely! The food was delicious. For starters, we had the Prawns, sweet potato croquettes and the okra tempura. Our favourite were the Prawns, the sauce was soon good ! Definitely missing a trick in not serving that as a starter by itself with the coco bread Our mains were the sea bass and monkfish- both perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I've seen other reviews saying the food be overly spicy but this was not our experience and I think unfair to say. If we weren't so full by the starters , we would have wanted an extra portion of the delicious rice. We don't usually have pudding but given how good the rest was, we decided to splash out and omg ! Never had rum cake like it ! So good. The mocktail i had was delicious too, not too sweet which is often the way with alcohol free options. I would say though that it was quite draughty, so would recommend sorting that out but It wouldn't deter us from going again !

We are thrilled to find the Regency Café is just at the corner of our stay when we travelling in London. We went there for breakfast/brunch several times. The cafe is famous for its old-school charm. The full English breakfast-crispy bacon, runny eggs, and generously buttered toast, is a standout. Established in 1946, it retains a retro atmosphere with checkered floors, tiled walls, and a booming voice calling out orders. The prices are reasonable for central London. Expect a queue, especially on weekends, but the efficient service and delicious, comforting food make it well worth the wait.
