The food is always amazing from Here and the staff are polite and friendly, I always phone up and collect have never delivered

Our take away food was lovely but they advised it would be 50 minutes when I called to place an order. I arrived around 45 minutes later and then waited there for another 45 minutes before our food was ready. Would be reluctant to use them again.

We love the food, but the last 3 times we went i am afraid we waited for a long time for the meal even though we had been given a time to collect. Such a shame but last time i got my money back as the wait was around 45 minutes even though I had phoned the order through an hour before. I think they just need more staff to cook. Would advise book when it opens and check time to collect.

Found by chance whilst staying nearby. Best Chinese take away I have had for a few years. Special curry was proper old skool big chunks of onion and loads of peas. Definitely be revisiting when back in the area

Food late, and incorrect order. Order the same food every week, never changes. Have eaten here many times, and just lately keep getting order wrong. Partner had been working all day with some DIY and felt too tired to drive back to the take away and complain. We have decided to boycott this take away as I feel they become complacent and obviously cannot cope with the volume of trade and are making mistakes. We will be going elsewhere from now on.

A clean and well run place serving good food cooked in front of you. Staff are friendly but they do get very busy and there can be a wait.

Always order from here. Great service and tasty food - not greasy like other chinese takeaways we've tried.

We phoned our order in to be told an hour wait. We were fine with that, during lockdown so expected to be busy! But when I went to collect my order I then had to wait another 45 mins outside in the cold and rain. Food is always good but service tonight was very poor.

i was staying in Dunchurch as a base for work as its fairly central so i went exploring to different places to eat. i was in here at least once a week and i did a good job of sampling a lot of different things on the menu. the food is always freshly prepared, very tasty and the staff are friendly. how do i put this delicately, erm some of the customers are more senior and so the dishes aren't overly spicy in general, but if you like some spice (and i do) then just ask to make it a bit hotter and they certainly will. last time i was in, it was still cash only unfortunately, but the Petrol station provides a cashback facility. i'm going there in a few days as i've got an overnight stay there, can't wait!

Not much to say other than very disappointing... once home with food we found the food not to be cocked though , also half a portion. Called them up to ask why this had happened to be told noddles are meant to be raw...and laughed. They don’t deserve local trade...avoid

Firstly be warned as they only take cash - no card payments at all! Traditional menu little changed from the 1970s and far behind what you can find in the countries around the world - notably the USA. That said it us certainly better than some if it's competitors. Fast friendly service with limited on-street parking. Will probably return one day.

Great meal we had and would recommend the Beef noodles anytime. Was nice and hot still once we walked back to the hotel up the road.

We have used the crystal many times but twice in the last month they have got the order wrong...trouble is you think you have the correct food when you leave as they go through it but you get home to find it's wrong. They do change it but it's not great when you have to get back in the car and they are a bit matter of fact about it. Food nice but will go elsewhere from now on...

Best Chinese takeaway around these parts; we're happy to drive the 15miles there & back for it! Great value for money, very generous portions, delicious menu and thoroughly tasty!

What on earth is happening at Crystal?!! For the third consecutive visit the service has been awful! Ordered food by phone at 19:00 for collection at 19:30. Waited 40 minutes in the takeaway and didn’t get my order until 20:10. Just not good enough. Everyone else was having the same trouble. The place was totally out of control and overwhelmed. Won’t be back here again. Food was fine but what a job to get it!!

Our favorite Chinese takeaway, we use it too often! The chicken curry is the best chinese curry I have ever had, very friendly staff and brilliant value for money.

Perfectly pleasant Chinese takeaway. Food was ready when we ordered it and made a pleasant meal, but have eaten better. This place is convenient, efficient and reasonably priced but does not take cards so you need cash.

The Crystal never disappoints, delicious food at super reasonable prices. The noodles in the chow mein are skinny and tasty, the sauces are to die for and they have the best sesame prawn toast I've ever had. Lovely service, that is adaptable and friendly. Love this local delicacy- easily have one once a month.

For several years we have been using the Crystal for takeaway food and believe that their cuisine will stand comparison to any of the local Chinese restaurants. The service (even when we cannot be bothered to order ahead) is as quick as they can make it and the young lady who takes the orders is very pleasant.Personally I nearly always go for a chow mein backed up by ribs if I am feeling peckish. The staff work very hard to supply their customers. Highly recommended

Crystal is just an average Chinese takeaway....oh, and it doesn't accept debit/credit cards so make sure you have cash. The food tastes OK but the place looks like it hasn't had a good clean for some time. The ladies taking the orders are pleasant enough but the place needs a boost!

It took 20 mins for staff to take our order on a Sunday evening and another 50 mins for the food. 1 hour 10 mins is ridiculous for 2 portions of noodles and crispy shredded beef. Phone orders were being taken and told 20 mins - that didn’t happen either. My advice would be to phone your order, double the time they say. CASH ONLY in this day and age? Food was OK but nothing special
