This is the nicest place to sit and have lunch with a friend or even by yourself, the individuals that run the cafe are so lovely and always friendly. It's a very safe, clean environment and such a gem.

Not remotely like it’s Italian predecessor deli bistro but on balance just as friendly and in a different way useful to residents or visitors to Stoke village. Simple white interior, no music on our day, four or more tables, a good coffee machine but they also sell other hot and cold drinks. Range of variously filled pasties, pies, baked potatoes etc and sausage and other baps. Largish selection of ice creams and sticky buns, tarts, slices etc. Although facing the main road through the narrows we were not aware of heavy traffic or noise. The room is light and airy but shaded from the sun. Service was hospitable, friendly and helpful, prices entirely reasonable and the other customers plainly well disposed. It’s less than a five minute walk from the free car park just down the hill.

Laura's effervescent charisma has been a huge loss to Handbridge since Meltdown's closure, but will no doubt be a giant gain to whatever comes next for the (former) Toastie Queen. I say former, as there's one final chance to taste her magic creations before the apron is hung up for good at fellow Chester indie scene star That Beer Place on Foregate St tomorrow, which I wouldn't miss for all the cheese in Cheshire...

Great coffee, amazing stuffed croissants and very friendly service with a great playlist in the background. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in Chester and looking for speciality coffee.

Amazing and cheap, a must when you go to the market and you feel peckish after shopping for 5 hours with your family!🤪🤪 They also let my dog in

Nice venue. Unfortunately 2 servings of sourdough were so burnt we had to send it back.Am surprised it was actually served. No apology.
