Nos alojamos en Crowne Plaza por unos días. Debido a las multitudes para la ceremonia de nombramiento de la Reina Ana y un día muy largo, decidimos quedarnos para disfrutar de una cena ligera. Había visto alas de Gochujang tanto en el menú del bar como en el servicio de habitaciones, así que me decepcionó que no estuvieran disponibles en el menú del restaurante. Sin embargo, el chef amablemente se ofreció a hacerlos por mí. El servicio fue excelente. De hecho, yo diría que podría reducirse un poco a medida que se nos acercaba no menos de 10 veces durante nuestra comida y para algunas personas eso podría ser sobrecarga. Disfrutamos de la masa madre caliente, las alas de Gochujang y una hamburguesa plaza. Buen tamaño de porción y estábamos rellenos! La comida está bien cocinada. La hamburguesa podría haber sido un poco más sabrosa, pero sin quejas en general.

We stayed st the Crowne Plaza Hotel for three nights and ate in the restaurant on two nights. Unfortunately, the first night was not very good. My wife is Gluten Free and the choice on the menu was very limited. In the end a meal had to be adapted and she finished up with salmon on a bed of salad. To say that the salad was just thrown together would be an understatement. Then, for dessertm, the only choice was a fruit scone and, believe it or not, they did not have any. My meal, and those of our friends wer OK, but you can't mess up fish and chips. However, for a hotel of this calibre, we certainly did not think this was acceptable. My wife made her feelings felt to the restaurant manager. He said that they were having a management meeting the next day and that he would raise this Gluten Free issue. He must have done so because, the next time we went in for dinner, we were told that any meal my wife chose would be adapted to suit her diet. Well done for that but, surely, it should not have been necessary to have a confrontation over a diet which is not a fashion=fad.

Ordered 1 large breakfast and 1 traditional....... And so it started....waiter came with a cup for a hot drink...cup had chip on rim and was absolutely filthy so asked for a clean one. Not too much to ask ..... Traditional breakfast came no problem. Large breakfast came and looked ok. When I turned the 2 pieces of toast over they were burnt black and uneatable. I asked the waiter to change the toast and she came back with 2 more....one of them burnt black again but conveniently turned over as if I wouldn't notice!!! 2 fried eggs were completely solid and looked like they had been sitting under a lamp for half an hour. I then gave up and asked for a refund..... 3 times things had to be returned!! come on you don't have to be a perfect chef to get toast right or clean your cups!!!!! This was a Thursday morning and not very busy at all. The staff behind the bar were understanding and gave me a refund straight away. Pity the kitchen staff don't care about what they send out! Do you think customers will eat anything!!!!! Will definitely not be visiting again

8 Williamson SquareWent there during the day, so it wasn't too busy, but I do know of a night it's great with the karaoke. Food was very nice and the staff are very polite and welcoming

Central Buildings, North John StreetNo estoy seguro de lo que le ha pasado a este lugar, pero definitivamente fue cuesta abajo. Llegamos para el almuerzo y después de estar sentados , no había ninguna solicitud para tomar nuestro pedido, esperamos más de 20 minutos, el personal parecía muy desinteresado en querer tomar nuestro pedido. Así que abandonamos el almuerzo y no volveremos de nuevo. No estoy seguro de lo que ha pasado, pero la atención al cliente es inexistente.

163 Muirhead Av EastPretty sure I've just been overcharged- small s&p box £9.50, fried rice £4.50 & a small sausage....total was £16.10 so the sausage was £2.10? Felt uncomfortable querying it as there's about 7 staff on the other side of the counter and they can't get you served & out of the shop fast enough,its quite intimidating. Food was nice but will not be returning.

92 Duke StreetAin’t been to this great pub for a while so looked forward to a proper beer. Alas it’s followed the trend of not serving beer. On draught we had 3 lagers a cider, a pale ale (pale ale is probably the most disgusting ale I’ve ever had the misfortune to taste) and a stout. No bitter or golden or amber ale. What’s happened to this place? Still a nice pub but for gods sake get your beer sorted
