Crown Public House in Waltham Forest

Always been a brilliant chip shop. I haven’t been back here in a while was on a health craze but came in today got a large chips and savoloy sausage batter and fresh squeezed orange juice two tomato ketchup and HOMEMADE garlic sauce and it came to around £12-13 absolute brilliant prices and also the orange juice was perfect it was the perfect sweetness and so refreshing the garlic sauce is lovely food was hot and perfection. I see aswell they do chilli sauce also homemade and a few other things I will defo be back try them. Staff are always lovely aswell and had a lovely chat whilst I waited for my food this chips shop has always been the best in the hatch and with alll the other stores closing and changing I hope the chip shop always stays. Been our local since it first ever opened and still is ❤️

three generations of my family have eaten here and it is the place I think about when pie and mash is mentionedit is like a time capsule wooden pews marble tabletops Adams ceiling the smell of good east end fair you won.t get better anywhere.

Love this pub. Great taps and delicious Sri Lankan menu. A must go if in the area!

Nice place for a beer- didn't have food. Excellent service from all staff. Busy too which shows it's popular. Nice atmosphere.
