Crown Pizza in Derby

I called this takeaway 3 times in the space of 40 minutes but no one answered. Unfortunately I was a regular customer as well.

Very nice food quality. Always fresh food.

Pizza was perfect temperature and tasty.

food is absolutely on point very tasty and it arrived nice and hot.

Unfortunately this place has experienced a steady decline over the last year or so. The pizzas are not as nice as they used to be, the doner meat is normally served not heated as much as it should be, so luke warm at best. The fried chicken is good and the chips hit and miss. The chips are good when served fresh and hot however, not on some occasions where they are like the doner meat luke warm. Prices are good but they need to up their game to be the place it used to be a few years ago.

I ordered steak kebab they sent the meat but no bread wrap

Service is appalling the cashier was just rude and obnoxious. Pizza was undercooked and doughy, burger had no sauce or salad in it (like seriously ??!?!?) But was the best thing out of the order, and chips were stone hard . Food is mediocre and expensive, not worth the money. Get some food from somewhere else or eat at home, dont waste your money here.

I recommended Crown Pizza to my family & decided to treat them to my favourite food from here. They all loved the food especially the pizzas:) Thank you for all the extra sauces & salad:)

Food is decent but the last 2 occasions I went they over charged me. The first time I got over charged by £1. A few days later a different person serving me tried to over charge me by £2. I challenged him on the second occasion and he then said the correct price. But the issue is that within a space of a few days on 2 occasions 2 different people have tried to overcharge me and the first time successfully.

Ordered for family and the food was not up to standard. Fish was not edible and chips were dry. The food for this place is going down hill very quickly. We are regular customers but will think twice before going in the future.

Very dirty disgusting hygiene 0 guy had yelow glows they was reale dirty catch ma burger and serve when i soo that when straight out i went ther after year again the guy caugh on his hand and not even wash hees hand very bad experience never again my advice if u go the keep eyes on them trust me the owner is great guy butt his staff 000000 character no respect

Followed instructions and fast delivery for a large order. I've been going here for years and the quality of food is exceptional.

Chips and kebab meat and pizza were lovely

Ordered from Crown pizzas a few times now always on Time. The pizzas are great very tasty.

The only issue was that restorant, instead of big Cola that I paid for 4£ brought me small one for 2.50

Was recommended by a friend, went in today with a few friends and we ordered a 14inch special spicy pizza and a Special Kebab the food had great taste and staff was very friendly. Recommended to everyone best pizzas in the area!

I couldn't order pizza because they can find my address in their system 🤣 and they say I gave the wrong post code. Maybe they should update their old system that doesn't find new built streets

THE BEST KEBAB! I recommend the steak and donner . Please can you start doing a pizza box sized kebab meat and chips etc 😋

Use to be great, but now rubbish, the staff can’t even understand English and even bad understanding their own language, ordered a kebab they got that wrong and even changed me more for their mistake

This review is 2 parts. Firstly the food. It was lovely. Bo complaints on the taste loved it. Issue was I asked for bo salad but got plenty of salad. I also asked for a large and got only what I can describe as a kids portion. Good tasted great but not reading instructions and small portion size means I will stick to Mcturks even though rhus tastes better

the service is so bad, always getting the orders wrong, undercooked chips, and overall so expensive for the quantity and quality of the products being brought! Not good!!!

I just been in this take away. The guy. Just blowed his nose and grabed a burger insted to go and wash his hands and putted it on the grill very good hygiene

Missing chips , called the shop, was delivered in 5 minutes, pizza's very tasty overall great experience 1st time .

The staff didn't wear gloves and when asked they replied I am doing just this work but how can you touch food and stuff panini directly with your hands even if you are doing just this work, you are touching different things. Initially I just love this place they have the best food in town but the new staff is just too careless for the food safety procedures.

Best place for fish and chips, I was pleased to see Crown Pizza on Just eat as it is one of my favourite takeaways. The pizzas were good as always:)

I paid for a chicken and doner kebab. It seems prices we're increased recently. Quantity on the lower side for the price, but taste is good. Bit busy on Friday evenings

Good food, good customer service, fair price

I was order 2 cheeseburger meal and I ask if the burguer is grill or oven they said grill.. when I go pick up my order I can see the burguer is in the oven cook . 1 they lie to me 2 the cheeseburger was horrible taste 3 not come back here. Never again this experience.

I was recommended this place by a mate from work. They did nothing t disappoint. I had the shish, chicken tikka mix, Which was a little dear but very tasty. Everything else was very reasonably priced and looked delicious. Definitely visiting again.

Very impressed with the service and food, generous toppings on the pizza made it taste extra succulent. Other places be tight on toppings. Pizza melted in the mouth. Best pizza place in Derby. Used to love the Pizzas from here but the staff contradict one another on what the prices are on the board and prices vary depending on who you get served by. In recent times on more than two occasions I found hair in the pizza’s which has been a let down. Have now decided to go across the road to Apna Curry’s for Pizzas at least the staff are more polite over there. Simple manners such as please, thank you and a smile goes a long way.

Great kebab and very decent pizzas. The kebab meat is delicious and shish meat is cooked perfectly. Any time I want a doner and shish mix kebab this will be the place to come to.
