Lovely food. Good service. Friendly staff. More of a lager pub than a real ale one, but they have Doombar in bottles.

Ordered hot chicken and hot lamb biriyani through uber eats but got extra hot chicken biriyani and low hot lamb biriyani. The rice looked as overcooked and was not worth for the prices.

Food and service was absolutely outstanding the entertainment was even better✨

We had surprise birthday party, food and service were excellent just right for small family event.

I had my daughter's first birthday celebrated there. Mansi and PK provided the best service and all other staff too. Very active and keen to provide everything we needed. Quotation for the event was very reasonable. Service provided was excellent. We have been there customer for many years now.

I was skeptical at first when I entered however the place was very friendly and the menu looked good so I had to order some starters which were very tasty!

Today was our first visit to this restaurant and was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and looking forward to returning again soon.

Collected some food, rice was under cooked and had lumps in it, chicken korma was salty and tasted nothing like a normal korma would, price was not bad but better to spend a little more and go down the road to the Grange and get a vastly better experience over all. Parking was good so there was a plus.

Ordered a takeaway and opted for more of the Chinese menu and the food was very good. Not greasy at all unlike other restaurants. The special fried rice was fresh and the chicken in black bean sauce was tasty. The mogo was not as crispy as expected but flavoursome.

I had my baby shower function couple of days ago, I would like to say thank you 🙏 very much to all staff members and the owner - Mansi Patel. All are so kind and supportive bcz of them efforts I did my function very nicely. Food was amazing and adorable no one compete to them, like to highly recommend to everyone this the best place I found in London. Once again thank you all, soon we would like to arrange birthday parties for our parents.

Ordered poppadoms, thin and crispy. Ordered nachos, the cheese on the nachos was plentiful. The fish ordered with chips was terrible. The hamburger with cheese was nice. My lamb jalfrezi was delicious, as was my wife's special vegetarian curry. We ordered sago aloo, which caught us by surprise, hot hot. The peshwari naan was OK, but not the especially with sesami seed all over. The birthday cake drizzled with chocolate sauce was a nice touch. Service was superb.

A proper pub environment with a nice Indo-Chinese cuisine. Ample of dedicated parking. We tried noodles and tandoori starters.

Great restaurant serving authentic food. Taste is excellent of all the dishes tried and portions are good. It gets a bit loud when there are parties going on but food still comes out in good time. The staff look after you well and are friendly. Book a table in advance. Also, the carpark is a bit messy as drivers don't park properly so beware of tight squeezes, or simply park on the road outside.

Staff are totally rude and stupid I ordered desi chicken and naan they give totally different food I called them but they didn’t listen my words.

Another excellent night with food that is consistently high quality. Fish tikka, salt and pepper prawns and butterfly prawns were the starter highlights, fish curry and keema lamb the mains to enjoy.

I order veg munchrian taste was too sweet they put too much ketchup and quantity was too small only 5 munchrian balls in take away box and 6.80 pound too bad worst experience.

Went to the Crown a couple of months ago with friends for the first time the food and service was so good I had to take my Husband and daughter there. The food is amazing the taste the quality could not fault it, the staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Will definitely be going back there again.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We visit here often and the food is incredible. Not one dish is bad, they are all really good- especially the jeera chicken gravy starter. The waiter PK is a legend as well- a great guy!!

If you're a regular of dining out for Indian food then avoid this place like the plague. Slow and lazy service by waiters who just stand around and leave you hanging. We ordered several starters and mains, all looked good but lacked any depth or flavour. We had send the jeera wings (cumin based dish) back as it didn't actually have any cumin in it which was the main ingredient! Between courses the waiters failed to clear our table without being prompted. Save your money, better options nearby. Toilet is exceptionally dirty for a pub that serves food and a variety of clientele. POOR.

A very family oriented Bar restaurant serving lovely Indian, Indo Chinese and Chinese restaurant. Many choices for Vegetarians and their stand out dish is Soya Keema. The service is excellent and all the staff including the Owners are flexible and approchable

Really delicious food. Reasonable price. We ordered paneer tikka, chilli mogo,bhajia, dal makhani, paneer tikka, veg biryani. We love it .

Ordered the delivery via Uber, food spilled but also had hair in the biryani upon calling the restaurant the gentleman was rude, instead of finding a solution asked me to report hair to Uber? It’s their kitchen at fault, he then told me I should make complaint to any food hygiene department they don’t care, picture as attached

We attended one of my friend’s birthday party over there . Friendly-staff and management been very co-operative in arranging event to make it more personal and memorable . Good size private event space for 40-50 people. Starters were great 👍 Regards

Had a fabulous meal here on Sunday. I had the duck pancakes and the Singapore noodles - both EXCELLENT. My cousin had the chicken curry, which I tasted, and that was very tasty too. There were about 20 of us and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind.

Perfect for a Lads Night Out, good food and Double Rum and Coke.

This was the second time we visited this venue, and again wasn't disappointed. The food was really tasty, the staff were really accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was electric with the England v Wales game playing. I do think it's expensive but, we got what we paid for, really good food. We will be returning

Found this pub at the end of a walk in Mitcham Common. Just popped in for a quick drink but the food smelled lovely. I had a peek at the menu and there was a HUGE amount of choice: Indian, Chinese, and British. The staff seemed absolutely lovely too. Will pop back for lunch soon.

I'll be honest, I picked this place at random and didn't have high expectations, but WOW! The food was absolutely delicious, it was served quickly and to a very high standard. The drinks were decent and the staff were very attentive. I will definitely visit again

My family recently held a triple 40th birthday party at the Crown of Mitcham (for under 50 people). The management team worked closely with us to ensure that the party was a success. They made sound suggestions for the menu and timing/running order of courses. We opted for the party buffet which included 4 starters, 4 mains & sundries. Not only were we offered their private function room (which was set up with tablecloth for us upon arrival), but also part of their outdoor area which was cordoned off for us (an added bonus for the kids to freely use). They organised self service unlimited (selected) soft drinks/juice (at a very reasonable additional price), providing jugs on the main entrance table and refilling when necessary. The staff were very accommodating with the schedule, as we were running behind, but always happily followed our instructions. The guests couldn’t stop commenting about how delicious the food was. I would have to agree. This is a hidden gem in Mitcham, and will be my go to place for any future parties or a nice meal out with the family. Exceptional service! Keep up the good work Crown staff!

Really good and just what I was looking for on a Sunday

Best Crispy Bhajiya and bhindi masala

So picture the scene, I have fractured my foot and in crutches and boot. Dad and sons 8 and 6 disorganised and grumpy, we head to south London for a football blitz, in a park far away from cafe/shops. Boys complaining of the hunger 5 mins into 2.5 hour blitz and I am querying whether to get Uber eats to the middle of a park field. We have water and some crisps. Somehow we get through blitz and rock up to Crown of MItchem - 5 mins by car. We order curry with naans rice and chips, Chinese starters and some chicken nuggets and chips. (They also had a very reasonably priced lunch menu as well). Over all food was very good and we were stuffed. I will be back next time I am down in south London for a blitz.
