Lovely place. Undiscovered by many. A massive part of hostory, dating back to cromwell. Its always quiet when i go. The food menu seems more lunch related than dinner, so great for lighter bites. Theres also a comedy night here, which ill try some time.

Cute pub but the food doesn't match. Had a burger and it was £16 but was definitely a £1 frozen burger. Was so thin and the bun was just a plain white simple bun, reminded me of what you would get at a fair. The roast also did not look much better and my friend didn't enjoy m. No atmosphere at all. Definitely not worth the money at all. Should have guessed as there was not a single other person there on a Sunday afternoon. Drinks also overpriced for uxbridge...

A Friday night drink with friends. Really poor bar service and £6.90 per pint. That is just ridiculous for an Uxbridge pub. Realise it is now under new management but at that sort of pricing they will not last long. I’ve been a Friday regular but will now be going elsewhere.

Latest update, this place has gone from being one of my favourites to kinda pants. Staff are nice enough but the atmosphere is dry as and they are regularly out of everyday items. Food seems to have gone up in price and down in quality. Keen to support my local but there has to be a balance. Came here for lunch with mates. The food was ace, the staff are really lovely and there is a good selection of drinks. This has really been turned around. Just to say came here for Sunday lunch too. The chicken wings and mixed roast are epic.

Visited last Friday. The barman tried to give me a beer that had been pulled earlier and kept to one side (just topping it up). To make matters worse when the barman attempted to hand me the beer over the bar, it caught on something and he poured it over me. I had to clean my coat myself in the toilets (all they could offer was paper). I was given a replacement beer, but had to pay for it. An apparently more senior member of staff on duty was present, but very disinterested. I got a 'sorry'.

The best roast dinner around for miles. Beautiful historical civil war building full of art and history. Friendly happy staff. Ps.cauliflower cheese……

We booked the private conservatory area for a work leaving party and it worked really well. A good sized room with an outside terrace for warmer weather and Ellie and the team couldn't do enough for us both in planning and on the night. Great choice and quality of buffet food, good sized portions, good service and great atmosphere. We could even bring along our own playlist for music using their bluetooth speaker. I real little find in Uxbridge.

Visited for the 1st time yesterday, was nice but I have to say the roast beef Sunday dinner was really nice but I was still hungry after eating it, lol one piece of meat is just not acceptable when paying nearly £30 per meal. So unfortunately won't be going here again. Cheers

Visited for the first time for a late afternoon Sunday roast. The pub is very well decorated and staff are friendly. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere and surprisingly not busy. We ordered the roast beef dinner to be disappointingly told they had run out of Yorkshire puddings. We were compensated with a side dish of cauliflower cheese. The food was served hot and fresh with lashings of gravy. Just a shame no Yorkshire puds were available. That said would definitely recommend and come here again.

Good pub, however the new Mayor of London, Count Binface, wishes for the hand dryer in the gents’ toilets to be moved to a more sensible position. Once this had been done there will be peace and security for all!

Drinks with work colleagues. It was dead for a Friday night... I didn't eat but colleagues food looked nice. Drink expensive nearly £10 a glass of wine.

We attended on Wednesday evening with a couple of friends for a meal. Before attending, we reviewed the menu but unfortunately when we arrived the menu was completely different and didn't include the 2 for £16 pub classics. We were given a specials menu. We ordered two of the chicken and rice meals. Unfortunately not available... maybe should have been mentioned when handed the menu. The food was nice and fresh. Empty plates left on the table for 40 minutes. No offer of dessert or tea/coffee. Very poor service despite staff and even the general manager sitting in the restaurant area. Provided a 20% discount however, no where close to the saving if they had provided the 2 for £16 pub classics as stated on their website.

Decent food for when needed and a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Not going to find five star stuff here, but definitely nothing overtly negative 👍 For a better experience next time I'd recommend our food be a little warmer. It felt, looked and tasted like it had been left to stand for a while (mash was a little dry, vegetables were slightly rubbery, etc.) The location and interior were nice enough that we'd be happy to come back and try again when in the area though! Raised the star by one as a thanks for the nice reply to the review!

Came here with 16 people for an anniversary. Absolutely outstanding. The staff could not have been more efficient, friendly and helpful. Really pleased. All of the food came out together and everyone was so happy with it. So impressed.

Ellie and Will took care of our tour group in grand style!! Awesome oub!?

Terrible experience.. Ordered 3 beef Sunday dinners.. I ate mine.. my girlfriend ate half of hers and my daughter ate a bit of hers.. beef was undercooked and chewy but I can get over that.. the worst part was that the food was not hot.. it was barely warm.. I don't understand how you can serve food like this!?. It wasn't exactly busy.. I told the waiter the the food wasn't hot when asking for the bill.. they gave us 15% off and we left.. though I'm grateful.. 15% off something that shouldn't have been served is just a waste of money.. Paid £70 and left.. Now home I am experiencing tummy pains.. I would NOT recommend..

Excellent Staff, Food, Drinks and atmosphere. I wrongly got given a parking ticket by fault of Park and Collect (private company) and I spoke to a member of staff called Sam. The customer service and helpfulness received, was above and beyond and they managed to reverse the fine for me. Would definitely recommend this place to visit Greg

Popped in after a funeral as a stop off, myself and my parents were tired and in need of a friendly face and a warm atmosphere, which is exactly what we found. Really appreciate Sam for going to the effort of getting us some sides (don't think the kitchen was actually open but he went above and beyond!), he could tell we needed the pick me up we think! Music not too loud, other customers seemed well treated and happy too.. all around a great experience and would love to check out the place again on a lighter occasion.

Went for festive meal with office colleagues. Food was good but in spite of sending all of our menu choices in advance, we had to wait a long time for starters and much longer for mains. Manager comp'd a drink to make up for the wait, which was nice of her.

Staff were friendly. However the meal was distinctly average. We had steak pie and vegan pie both with mash and vegetables. We found the veg were undercooked for our taste, and the pies were unremarkable. Gravy was provided but should have been served in a gravy boat. It wasn’t until we had left the pub that we realised a service charge had been added to our bill! In a pub! Really!☹️

We had our office Christmas Dinner here last week and we were well looked after by Sam and his team - Special shout out for Kellie and her co worker on an excellent service - Food was well cooked and arrived nice and hot and none of the extras were forgotten- Thanks again The Wavestore Team

We had a great company (Chamber) Christmas lunch. Food was good, service was good and the upstairs room was good too. Would recommend.

Came on a Thursday night for work Christmas dinner, and ordered the Festive Sitdown meal (3-course meal)! We got a private room (treaty room) upstairs for 23 of us and were very happy with what we received. Great food, crackers on the table, friendly staff, could adjust the music ourselves and overall a happy work event :D Thank you to Chloe who looked after us and was happy to listen to my requests all night, she was amazing! Thanks to Sam who let us know about the food timings and to the other staff who served drinks and the food. Highly recommend!

Arrived for Christmas Dinner and they said we had to pre book even after asking the person who confirmed our booking and said it wasn't necessary. Half of the stock was missing. £7 for a pint in Uxbridge is criminal and so is £11.10 for a glass of wine. The reason it's a 3 star rating is because of the bloke serving us, apologised throughout even though it wasn't his fault directly.

We attended this fantastic, historical venue as a tour from the United States. Every member had a relative who had fought in England during World War 2. In particular, our tour included a 101 year old veteran from the Eighth Air Force who had flown 25 missions against occupied Europe. The Manager, Sam, and his brilliant assistant, Ellie-Jade had laid on a fantastic welcome for us. The food was great, his staff were friendly, fast and efficient. We could not have asked for more. A wonderful venue, great food and great service. A highly recommended venue.

Our visit was superb!! Our tour group was treated royally by the staff and the food was excellent!! Our 101 year old WWII Eighth Air Force veteran was the guest of honor thanks to the gracious staff that went to the trouble of decorating a table in his honor. The staff at the Crown and Treaty were awesome!! The food was terrific and the service was beyond words!! We had a 101 year old WWII veteran in our party and they made it very special for him by dressing up a table in his honor!! They went far and away to make our visit very special!!

We held our wedding reception here on the 2nd September and were extremely pleased with the venue, Huge thanks to Sam, Ellie, Chelsea and the team who worked so hard in the run up to and including the wedding day. Great time was had by all who attended and our guests are still raving about the food and portion sizes. Extremely polite and helpful staff who organised the next day to arrange collection and pack away of all our wedding bits and pieces. We ended up down here the next day for Sunday Roast and again were extremely pleased with the meal. Excellent value for money.

Came here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday. There are plenty of tables overlooking the road and two separate spaces inside. The atmosphere is cosy. Staff was busy when we arrived and we just found ourselves a table.On Thursdays they do pub quizes but we didn't participate and decided to choose a quieter table. Service was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive.I ordered cider, which I really enjoyed. The food was very good as well - generous portions and delicious. We will definitely come back!

Not very organised. We booked a joint meal and Rock'N'Roll bingo experience when we tracked down a front of house person who was actually 'working' (it's amazing how many staff were sitting around but when you asked a question you were greeted with "I'm not working" when we gave our order eventually as everything we asked for was out of stock even the mash my sister asked for with the "pie and mash" she was told that's fine but when my sister queried the lady telling me it was out of stock she replied "you can have chips" and then the gentleman came and asked if we were playing his bingo game we had to track down Lord Lucan Aka our front of house person to try and find out how long it'll be until the food arrives so we could try and coordinate the eating and bingo experience that the pub itself was putting on for about £17 per person. We were told to leave the quiet eating area to go and sit in the loud music room where you can try and converse with your waitress through raised voices and exagagerated hand gestures. Maybe in future tell paying guests they should give a longer window as they can't seem to cope with two jobs at once.

Had 2 great evenings at the Crown and Treaty in Uxbridge, including a most entertaining pub quiz. The landlord and his team couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I would recommend this as a great place to visit to eat and drink.

This is a brilliant pub/ restaurant. Full of character. Had retirement celebrations here in the back room with additional outdoor space, with 50 guests. The service was superb, really lovely bar staff, the buffet food was amazing, every bite was delicious, catered well for veggies and meat eaters, the room for the event was perfect. A separate private bar, indoor and outdoor space, plenty of room for everyone. We were able to play our own music, take disco lights and decorate the room as we wanted...The venue is brilliant and the manager couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Fully recommend as a venue for parties events and gatherings. Such a memorable night . And great value for money!

Had a wonderful retirement party in the back room Sep 23.. Food was fantastic, staff could not have been more attentive. Thanks to Sam, Freya and Will in particular. Highly recommend.

I had heard good things about the C&T since the refurb and new management. And all this was confirmed by a visit with friends yesterday. A wide choice of comfortable areas to sit, inside and outside, good local ale - on this occasion Knight of the Garter from the excellent Windsor and Eton and Brewery, a tempting menu followed up by well cooked food and superlative and solicitous service by Freya. It was a joy to hear her knowledge about the history and features of this famous old building. No 1 in Uxbridge now!

We recenlty held a family Golden Wedding celebration at The Crown and Treaty. What a great choice! The staff communication by email was efficient, professional and friendly, and Sam and Ellie were great in helping us plan every detail of our day, including pre-ordering the meals. Ellie even sent photos of the room beforehand, with the tables laid out ready for us, which helped us plan our decorations! The Crown Room was perfect for the 24 of us, and the square layout of the tables meant we could all see each other. It was so lovely to be able to have time to catch up with other members of the family. Service was smooth and friendly, and we had plenty of time to chat with each other in the room, with no time constraints to leave. The food was delicious, too, with plenty of choice, and they were so accommodating with the children's meals and with our dietary requirements. The staff were professional and friendly at all times, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even set up separate tabs for each family group at the bar, which was a great help. We are very grateful to all of the staff at the Crown and Treaty for their hard work to make our day a success. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Crown and Treaty for special occasions.

Hired the conservatory for my birthday. From initial contact with the pub months prior right though to the end of the evening the communication was fantastic. The staff on the night were attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much. Highly recommend this stunning space for a party, gathering, wedding or similar. It’s perfect!

Returned a week after our first visit to try Sunday lunch On entering pub was welcomed by I presume landlord and bar staff very welcoming Didn't wait long for our meals Had been dreaming of my roast previous night lol Meals came out and presentation was 100 per cent Food was proper home cooked and not like food in other pubs ( I worked In pubs for 9 years ) and everything is pretty heated and basically microwaved Everything was perfect and nothing could be improved I did struggle to clear my plate unlike my partner Will definitely be returning every Sunday saves me cooking Can't believe I've never visited this pub in my early years Price is very reasonable too I was unaware they also had function rooms upstairs and although one was in use one of the bar staff took me to view room not in use and explained some of its history Definitely a pub to visit if in area If I was a mystery guest I would rate Everything 100 per cent Thank-you Crown and treaty and all your staff

A decent pub within walking distance of the town centre and a little away from the hustle and bustle. They have a good selection of beers on plus some real ales too. There is a nice beer garden too, although we’re back to the typical British summer at time of writing! Worth a visit if in town. Hopefully one day they move the hand drier by the urinals in the gents to a more sensible position. Here’s hoping 🤞

My Daughter in Law had her Baby Shower there last month. It was in the conservatory and it was a beautiful day so they pulled half of the roof back, it was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious. We had our bar which was great. Would definitely recommend it.

This place has changed drastically for the better! My first time coming here in 20 odd years and I was astounded. inviting decor, very clean, food I had (chicken tenders) best I've had with great spice on the crust. outside area is completely reworked and well done. Gents were unrecognisable, clean and uv light built into the hand dryers. (seems small detail but I like that) manager knows his stuff and has some great ideas. if you remember the pub or not give it a go.

Hi just want to express my happiness about the service and the food we received yesterday in Father’s Day the place was booming with customers we enjoyed the day was absolutely Wonderful thanks to Ellie’s and her team we will back

Waited over an hour at the table for food to turn up one of our party was gluten free but when the food turned up when queried if it was in fact gluten free it transpired it wasn't, even though it was on the menu as gluten free someone could end up in hospital. The meal was replaced with a gluten free one. A wait of 15 minutes for an unappetising cheese burger with gluten free bap. Two of our party had to wait an additional 20 minutes for their meals because the order was lost everyone else had their meals on the table. We had 20% taken off the bill, and three free meals, that doesn't make up in any way the incompetence of the staff. Gordon Ramsay where are you. Visit this place.

Great hidden gem, slightly out of town, but just a short walk from the centre. Went here for a business meeting/late lunch and it was great. Super service, good choice of drinks and the food was to a decent standard.

The atmosphere of the pub was as very welcoming, the staff was friendly and the food was as outstanding, I would definitely go again and would highly recommend the pub to friends and family

Really enjoyed our visit, it's an underrated and unexpected treasure next to the office buildings! The food was quick but not rushed and Sam was lovely - had a good chat and laugh with us and took the time to explain the history of the place too! Would be pleased to come back and have kept it in mind for future events as the style of the place is great too. Happily come back here over other places in the future.

Food was really good. Service was quite slow though. I know it was busy but, we had to ask for deserts after we'd been left for about an hour. Unfortunately, I am on a fat free diet which was very difficult. I ended up with a salad! Everyone else really enjoyed what they had so, 1 out of 8 isn't so bad.

I came here recently as I was visiting family in the area. The restaurant was clean and the service was good, but I have to mention a few things. Firstly, I had the chicken roast dinner and so did my partner(who is gluten intolerant) The waiter asked my partner if he could eat wheat as the pigs in blankets contained wheat, my partner had to decline, so maybe I should have had two portions (his and mine) Also, the dead flowers on the table did nothing to enhance the atmosphere. The waitress said they do not have time to change them. How long does it take to bin dead flowers rather than leave them on the table? I realised later in the evening that I did not get any. What annoyed me more is that when we got to my brothers house after the meal, I looked at the receipt and noticed that I had been charged a £7 service charge which was 10%. I did not see this on the menu (maybe the print was miniscule) and it was not pointed out to me. I stupidly left a cash tip of £7. Had I known there was a service charge included then I would never have left a tip as I usually do. They made an extra £14 on top of the bill. This is absolutely disgusting and although the food was good, this has put me off from ever returning again. Tips/service charges, should be at the discretion of the customer. This is a good way to lose business And you have !!

A wonderful historic pub that I want to support....but...we arrived at 9.25pm this evening for a quick birthday drink, thinking that we had time before 10pm closing. After waiting a few minutes at the bar we were told rather abruptly and without much apology that the till had been closed for the day and that there were no further orders!!! I can appreciate the staff may have wanted a quick get away after closing but we had 35 minutes left and it was hardly busy. Very disappointed and, living as I do around the corner, would think twice about going there for a drink again. They need to be clearer about serving times.

Planned to pop in for a drink before moving on to another hostelry for lunch. Was so impressed by the lovely welcome that we decided to peruse the menu. Mrs P went for a classic Sunday lunch. I went for something lighter. Both impressed.

I went there twice before, last for a Christmas meal. Food and atmosphere were lovely, it's a great history, definitely you must see upstairs We went there without a reservation and luckily it was quiet in the main section. Food was delayed, and we were asked if it was OK due to the two parties they had at the same night, l which it was. Unfortunately, it took longer. However, we were advised again. Then one of our food wasn't cooked the way we requested. The food was replaced, very swiftly. In the end, the manager apologised, deducted our bill due to the delays, and most importantly, we had tasty meals with reasonably priced. Definitely will go there again.

We hadn't booked anything for mothers day and were beyond surprised that the team could squeeze us in for lunch. I can not tell you how amazing the food and service was especially as we hadn't booked. What was lovely that although we were told the table will need to be back within an hour and half we weren't made to feel rushed. If anything they service was like can I get you another white wine mum.Will definitely be bringing all the family back here. Impeccable service especially with two little ones. Had a lovely meal here, lots of choices on the menu for both meat eaters and veggies. Tilly my dog was made very welcome too. Staff are friendly and helpful. And it’s clean and well cared for. We shall be back.

Nice pub and the food was delicious

16th Century pub. Amazingly kept well. Both Kayleigh and Leigh run this pub superbly. The food is excellent and so are the people. I had my wife's 50th at the pub in their atrium. Great set up. Food, service and the music was excellent. Matt - who is the regional manager for the group did a fabulous job in getting everything in place and making sure that it worked like clockwork. Certainly beats any 5* hotel in London! As always brilliant service by Lee and the crew! Lee is no more at the pub. A new set of managers are in place and seem friendly.
