Amazing food and even better service. The lamb tikka kebab was the best I’ve ever had, and the qabuli, borani, and mantoo were all packed with flavour honestly some of the best I’ve tried. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Parking right in front made it so much easier too. Highly recommend if you’re in Hayes and looking for great Afghan food.

Absolutely loved our visit to Shiraz Restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious — full of flavor and freshly made. We spent just £14.99 and it was enough for two people, which is amazing value. Shiraz is one of the best places for authentic Afghani food. The kebabs and lamb tikka are always juicy and full of flavour. The Qabili Palaw with lamb shank and rice is a real highlight—tender meat with perfectly spiced rice. The fresh Afghan bread is absolutely delicious—soft, warm, and the perfect side with every dish. Service is friendly, portions are generous, and the food never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone who loves proper Afghani cuisine.

My name is jamal khan. Today we went to shiraz and ordered our food. We found too much salt in ourfta kebab and mint sauce when we complaints. Instead saying sorry they misbehaved us. Waitress were very rude and Aggressive. All I wanted from them to say sorry but theywere very rude. They didn't exchange the food and no refund.

I went on probably the busiest day (Eid) so had to wait for half an hour to be seated, as it is a very popular place. I called before to see if I had to book a table but it seems it's just a first come first served basis. There is off street parking which is very good. I did not see any blue badge parking which would be a let down, but the parking was full that perhaps I didn't see something written on the ground. The portions are generous. The salad is good, the three sauces are nice as well. The Mega grill is quite big and tasty, not chilli. The lamb chops in it delicious. The chapli kebabs very tasty as well. The naan huge. The chicken karahi was very nice as well. I liked the decorations (lights), that you can see the wonderful barbecue, the pile of jalabis. Unfortunately I was so full I couldn't taste their desserts. Maybe next time. They have a nice Majlis area but it was full so could not experience it this time. Overall, it's a very nice place to eat halal Afghani food

The atmosphere and indoor decor was amazing. We ordered a simple chicken jalfrezi and naans. We both enjoyed it alot. The chutneys were very tasty especially the red chutney was my all time favourite . The salad was very unique it included fresh olives too. The tall lady (staff member) was really friendly , she had a smile on throughout. The Waiter their was also very well mannered and respectful , he cleaned our table up . Overall I definitely recommend this place. The food was top notch maShaAllah definitely coming back to try more food.

Came to eat here on New Years Eve with family, 14 of us to be precise. Ordered a fair amount of food, and everything was amazing! Perfect taste, perfect portion & greatly priced too! Everything was fresh & piping hot just how we like it! My uncle, who is Pathan, was also very impressed with the food and specially mentioned that it was the best Afhgan food he had tasted from an Afhgan restaurant. Hats off to the Chefs and also the waiters who always give great service. A Respectful and family-friendly restaurant. Thank you to you all 🙏

Repeatedly got our orders wrong. Order came late. Extremely rude, horrible customer service.

It was a total letdown, to be honest. The service was shockingly slow; I felt like I aged a year waiting for my food. And when it finally arrived, it was as bland as dishwater. The portions were miserly, and the prices were through the roof for what you got. The ambiance was as lively as a library, with no vibe or energy to be found. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Shiraz to anyone looking for a decent meal and a good time.

Well first time visited this restaurant it was wonderful experience the service was very good and the food was amazing especially the grill and the staff was very humble and friendly I highly recommend this restaurant 👌

“I am extremely disappointed with the food from this restaurant. I ordered rice with a special lamb Afghani kebab, and it was an absolute disaster. The rice smelled terrible, like it had been reheated multiple times before being served. The lamb was so tough and rubbery it was impossible to chew, let alone enjoy. This kind of food is dangerous, especially for people with digestion issues—it feels like they’re serving poison, not food. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience with them; it has happened several times now. Their food quality is unacceptable, and there’s no sign of improvement. The lack of customer service makes it even worse. I will never order from this place again, and I strongly urge others to avoid it too. This restaurant should take responsibility and apologize for such poor standards before someone gets seriously ill.”

I ordered food from here, and everyone in my family got intensely ill for two whole days. Acute food poisoning. Look at the food hygiene rating, it’s not that clean. Don’t recommend.

Excellent food ,,, Afghani tika kebab is very special

Food quality good, size of portion has shrunk from the last time I went, but that I can live with, what gets me annoyed and makes me feel that won't go back there is, the staff service, they always look fed up, forget items and when you ask for something, they either forget, or look at you as if you did something wrong in asking them.

It all started amazing, the aubergine started was spectacular. However when the mains arrived we discovered a long hair in our chicken karahi, we did not eat it from that point forward. Later when the dessert arrived we found another hair, the dessert we asked to be swapped out. At the time of payment they denied it was their mistake and charged us full price for everything. We could clearly see they were not covering their hair but they stated that they use nets. Mistakes happen but the way you respond matters, sadly Shiraz failed. I will not be going back!

The food taste and quality and potion size unacceptable any where in UK .the owner hospitality is great i highly recommended this restaurant 10/10 . We are do glad this restaurant is nearby. Well done guys from owner to ground staff and chef you all should be proud of your self . Looking forward to seeing you again.

I would highly recommend the Chopan Kebab (Meat Skewers). The Chapli Kebab and lamb Karahi were also very nice! Definitely 10/10! Overall a great experience with top service from the Shiraz staff along with nice traditional seating options.

Very good quality food, we had the Kabuli Mycha rice and Kofta kebab with naan and 2 cans of drink totaling £28 both very tasty and very decently priced concidering the portion sizes are more then adequate for a man of my size! I will definitely recommend and will be going back again for a mixed grill! I would also like to add that usually when i eat out with this type of cuisine or similar like persian or Iranian I almost always get horrible burps and decent toilet time but the food here is definitely of a high quality and cooked correctly. Hats off to the Chefs! I'll update with some photos of the mixed grill when I go back!

This place was recommended by Mustapha who runs the Yeading Launderette and Dry Cleaners after he let me try some of his Qabili Mycha Rice. It’s the only thing I’ve tried so far but it’s 10/10 for me. It is the new favourite in my household. I always order for collection but one day I shall go and eat in. Good customer service, welcoming atmosphere and food is always ready in 15/20mins. That lamb shank in the rice is chefs kiss !! Falls right off the bone!! Portion size is great for sharing for 2 even 3, just add an extra lamb shank if you love meat. Definitely recommend this place ☺️

Shiraz has the best Kebabs, specially the famous Afghan Kebab, they tender it so well, it’s soft and juicy. The Afghan Nan served with Kebabs makes the taste double. Do try Afghan Dough (yogurt drink with dry/fresh mint). Shiraz also has an amazing Chapli Kebab family package my kids love it the most with some fresh fries. I do recommend it and to support their business please do leave comments and photos 🙂.

I've been there couple of times , the food is good ngl the lamb tikka kebab I orderd and kabuli pulao. But service was slow they weren't that busy and I was sitting in the both and everytime I need something I need to get up myself and ask which was bit unpleasant. Otherwise the atmosphere is good food is good.

Food was good but the queue system was a bit chaotic. A couple who came after us got seats before us, the server didn’t bother to ask who was next, when we challenged this we were told they’re joining other people hence why they were seated before us, when we eventually got seated this couple sat right next to us and there were no one else they were joining. Lying to your customers is not on! The host simply could’ve apologised for the error instead they chose to lie unnecessarily which is a shame as the food was decent.

Went here after a couple of recommendations. The only good thing was the service. The mix grill was average. Lamb chops over cooked. The karai was ok. The prices they charge doesn’t reflect the quality of food. Much better places out there that charge less.

Went here for a late lunch with a friend. It was an odd experience eating a (admittedly generous) kebab while having a waiter standing 5 feet away watching you. I'm not sure if they were jealous of my food, or were maybe judging my technique. I didn't want to make eye contact in case they asked me for a bite. Tasty meat though. If a little costly for what it was. A smile goes a long way, lads.

It’s good restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff and quick service. It’s interesting menu choices, we liked the dishes. Price looked expensive, but quantity was really good for two people to share full chicken and rice dish.

Took my family out for lunch on the weekend. They decided to try out some Afghani food from Shiraz restaurant. We ordered the Chapli kebab and Lamb Mandi. My favourite was the chicken Karahi. The kids loved the special Afghani ice cream. We like that they had traditional floor seating with curtains for privacy. The toilet are clean. All of the staff were very friendly. Parking space is available. Wheelchair accessible. Halal certification.

Really good Afghan food. Their chicken tikka is top quality as well as their full baby chicken curry and their large sesame nan. Staff are very friendly but service can be slow. Food is made fresh as they are very busy so may need to wait a bit extra but definitely worth it. If you like dessert you will love their Afghan ice cream made to order.
