Shiraz Restaurant in Hillingdon

I ordered food from here, and everyone in my family got intensely ill for two whole days. Acute food poisoning. Look at the food hygiene rating, it’s not that clean. Don’t recommend.

Excellent food ,,, Afghani tika kebab is very special

Food quality good, size of portion has shrunk from the last time I went, but that I can live with, what gets me annoyed and makes me feel that won't go back there is, the staff service, they always look fed up, forget items and when you ask for something, they either forget, or look at you as if you did something wrong in asking them.

It all started amazing, the aubergine started was spectacular. However when the mains arrived we discovered a long hair in our chicken karahi, we did not eat it from that point forward. Later when the dessert arrived we found another hair, the dessert we asked to be swapped out. At the time of payment they denied it was their mistake and charged us full price for everything. We could clearly see they were not covering their hair but they stated that they use nets. Mistakes happen but the way you respond matters, sadly Shiraz failed. I will not be going back!

We are from hillingdon hospital ambulance we have been using this afghan restaurant. The food taste and quality and potion size unacceptable any where in UK .the owner hospitality is great i highly recommended this restaurant 10/10 . We are do glad this restaurant is nearby. Well done guys from owner to ground staff and chef you all should be proud of your self . Looking forward to seeing you again.

I would highly recommend the Chopan Kebab (Meat Skewers). The Chapli Kebab and lamb Karahi were also very nice! Definitely 10/10! Overall a great experience with top service from the Shiraz staff along with nice traditional seating options.

The aubergine dish is my favourite dish, have ordered dish on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed! Family loves it too. The only little constructive comment is, a little more aubergines in a dish would be super lovely 😁

Superb food, excellent service, staff are very friendly a lovely dining experience. A must go and dine if you haven’t already.

Very good quality food, we had the Kabuli Mycha rice and Kofta kebab with naan and 2 cans of drink totaling £28 both very tasty and very decently priced concidering the portion sizes are more then adequate for a man of my size! I will definitely recommend and will be going back again for a mixed grill! I would also like to add that usually when i eat out with this type of cuisine or similar like persian or Iranian I almost always get horrible burps and decent toilet time but the food here is definitely of a high quality and cooked correctly. Hats off to the Chefs! I'll update with some photos of the mixed grill when I go back!

10/10 food and service I had gathering with family in Shiraz restaurant and order full lamb with rice it was really tender and crispy from the top thanks to Shiraz chef pulse with free parking .

This place was recommended by Mustapha who runs the Yeading Launderette and Dry Cleaners after he let me try some of his Qabili Mycha Rice. It’s the only thing I’ve tried so far but it’s 10/10 for me. It is the new favourite in my household. I always order for collection but one day I shall go and eat in. Good customer service, welcoming atmosphere and food is always ready in 15/20mins. That lamb shank in the rice is chefs kiss !! Falls right off the bone!! Portion size is great for sharing for 2 even 3, just add an extra lamb shank if you love meat. Definitely recommend this place ☺️

As always their Sheryakh and Kabli tikka never disappoints.One of the best taste and ambiance in town.Staff members are really nice and respectful. Recommended as a must try place if you miss hometown taste.

Shiraz has the best Kebabs, specially the famous Afghan Kebab, they tender it so well, it’s soft and juicy. The Afghan Nan served with Kebabs makes the taste double. Do try Afghan Dough (yogurt drink with dry/fresh mint). Shiraz also has an amazing Chapli Kebab family package my kids love it the most with some fresh fries. I do recommend it and to support their business please do leave comments and photos 🙂.

I've been there couple of times , the food is good ngl the lamb tikka kebab I orderd and kabuli pulao. But service was slow they weren't that busy and I was sitting in the both and everytime I need something I need to get up myself and ask which was bit unpleasant. Otherwise the atmosphere is good food is good.

Food was good but the queue system was a bit chaotic. A couple who came after us got seats before us, the server didn’t bother to ask who was next, when we challenged this we were told they’re joining other people hence why they were seated before us, when we eventually got seated this couple sat right next to us and there were no one else they were joining. Lying to your customers is not on! The host simply could’ve apologised for the error instead they chose to lie unnecessarily which is a shame as the food was decent.

Went here after a couple of recommendations. The only good thing was the service. The mix grill was average. Lamb chops over cooked. The karai was ok. The prices they charge doesn’t reflect the quality of food. Much better places out there that charge less.

Went here for a late lunch with a friend. It was an odd experience eating a (admittedly generous) kebab while having a waiter standing 5 feet away watching you. I'm not sure if they were jealous of my food, or were maybe judging my technique. I didn't want to make eye contact in case they asked me for a bite. Tasty meat though. If a little costly for what it was. A smile goes a long way, lads.

One of the rubbish kebab they have it is completely burn so I put throw it in the. Been I call the The restaurant on . they put me on the hold for one hour to speak with someone

It’s good restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff and quick service. It’s interesting menu choices, we liked the dishes. Price looked expensive, but quantity was really good for two people to share full chicken and rice dish.

Took my family out for lunch on the weekend. They decided to try out some Afghani food from Shiraz restaurant. We ordered the Chapli kebab and Lamb Mandi. My favourite was the chicken Karahi. The kids loved the special Afghani ice cream. We like that they had traditional floor seating with curtains for privacy. The toilet are clean. All of the staff were very friendly. Parking space is available. Wheelchair accessible. Halal certification.

Really good Afghan food. Their chicken tikka is top quality as well as their full baby chicken curry and their large sesame nan. Staff are very friendly but service can be slow. Food is made fresh as they are very busy so may need to wait a bit extra but definitely worth it. If you like dessert you will love their Afghan ice cream made to order.

Food is too spicy for afghan cuisine. Every dish from kebabs to bademjan to mantu has overwhelming spice. It’s not seasoned authentically & kebabs are not authentic afghan seekh kebabs.

I have been in this restaurant twice, the food is perfect the lamb karahi it’s been twice not good, very hard and no meat it was all bone. The chefs should focus him self more.

Had my sons birthday last Sunday it was good n my guests were all happy food is nice 😋 👌 only it has no much space for pics those who want to slay hahahaha

It is a very good and yummy restaurant. I ate there with my family and we all enjoyed it. There was also a section where you can eat in a separate room with a big carpet to sit on. It has privacy curtains and is a very good experience.

Food took almost 30mins to arrive. The waiter's were all helpful. Food was ok, not quite what I was expecting.

Great deco..service and food was good. They have few booth with floor seating. You need to book in advance for it. As they get it taken very quick. We ordered the grill platter, meat and chicken was soft and tender. Cooked just right! They have parking outside..and after 6 parking is free on the main road. Good for families, kids defo enjoy the setup. Good seating.

We turned up in the Evening @ 8pm of New year's day, restaurant running @ higher capacity than usual, but were fortunate to be allocated a family table within half an hour. Xcellent table service by staff, meals ordered exactly as per request due to Nut allergies and a mild curry dish [medical issues] . One of the dishes,The Namak mandi style Lamb karahi 😍😍 excellently cooked and presented...with a Massive Afghani naan.

I went with my friends to Shiraz yesterday and the food was immaculate!!! I will definitely be coming again. From the prices to the services they provide I rate it 10/10 highly recommend. If you want good food and friendly service this is the place to visit. The owner is lovely very welcoming and polite.overall loved everything about this place.Can’t wait to bring my family down soon.

Thr venue looked great parking was ok and it was all HMC, however The food was under par!' We ordered Chapli kebab only to find a Hair lnger than rapunzels!, The lamb chops were not great! Namkin is what was ordered but found it to be somewhat (old meat), the lamb karahi was not made with the best or fresh ingredients, the mango lassi was sour lassi like, it was more of a nasty milkshake.we asked for the manager but no one came but gave us a bill with no apology £102 damnnnn

I have been to this restaurant 2nd time. Ist problem is hard to find parking. We have been offered a cabin for dinning. Whoever has eaten before us staff didnot clean the surface.Rice was on the carpet. When served food during whole time non of them came back to ask is there anything else you want drink or water. Ordered Qabuli pilau which was OK. Chapal kebab was not fresh and Chopan kebab was also not good. I am only highlighting these issues to bring in the notice of owner and message to staff every customer has got individual values and must be treated fairly. And cabin next door was absolutely disturbing everyone with loud noise Atleast staff politely ask them there is other people also having dinner. Can you please just talk inside the cabin in appropriate way. Thank you

I used to love this place , but I am very disappointed, you have to put yourself in place of customer in order to deliver the best service .

It took me home. The customer service was impeccable nothing was too much. The food was full of flavour and so authentic, it took me home back to Peshawar. If anyone wants to experience the warmth and hospitality of Pakistan& people of Afghanistan and the true flavours of Peshawar & Afghanistan then I would highly recommend this place. You have the choice to sit at a table or the more traditional experience of sitting on the floor. My eyes welled up.

Too much noise place even table are too small that there is not enough space to adjust food properly.. spoons are too big instead of my mouth😱chapal kabab is cold and naan are too hard.. milkshake is good lasi is also available.. service is not too bad but alot of people are walking around the table and hotel so i am confused..but food tatse is good not too much delicious but ok ok..

We have been dining here for over a year and the food has always been brilliant . Now this time we ordered chicken Karahi and naan to take away. The chicken was not fresh. It tasted like it was re cooked. The naans were hard like biting into a rock. We pay good money for their food. We will not come here anymore. Please avoid this place if you like good food.

First time having Afghan food, I thought the food was amazing. Freshly made, each course from starters to the end were really nice. Great hospitality and would recommend trying.

Amazing food, service and energy

Don't listen to the waiter what they were saying and they don't sell the lamb they put sheep instead the Karahi was totally not recommend and also the aubergine was second handed .someone order the food and didn't want it so they left it for the next customers that came and recommended to buy the second handed aubergine and also the same with the karahi too.the rice was nice but the grill food was not good only the skuwers were good.

I have waiting for 15 minutes nobody attended food was cooked absolutely fine but not good at all

Food was great, however staff were extremely rude. Did not receive enough knifes or napkins and when asked for more was ignored the first time. Plates were thrown on the table. Not nice experience at all, except for the food that was great.
