Couldn't comment on the rooms but a nice pub. Nice people and the Sunday roast was very good. We really enjoyed it.

Best fish and chips had in a long time highly recommended and Scott and Jay lovely people all I can say it's amazing food amazing people and very family friendy

Beautiful beef dinner, my only criticism is it could do with maybe a scoop of mash or a couple of boiled potatoes? We enjoyed it anyway, the gravy is tasty and the beef is melt in the mouth. We also had dessert which was very nice too (apple crumble & custard) 😋😋 We would definitely come for lunch again . The place is dog friendly 😊 Parking is a bit of a pain , but there's plenty of parking around the corner or up on the square, it wouldn't put us off coming again. Toilets are spotlessly clean you could smell how fresh and clean they were. The place is done out lovely inside and the staff are lush ❤️ Try this place , you won't be disappointed 😁😁

Went to the Cross Keys to watch a 6 nations rugby game with my daughter and dog. Friendly welcoming staff and good service. Quality range of lagers, beers and ciders. Good quality tasty food. Proper dog friendly with treats on the bar and staff brought a bowl of water over for the dog. Good relaxing atmosphere. Poster advertising a singer there later that evening. Overall we had a positive experience and would recommend to others.

Great food, guiness good. Only gripe is the music being piped is not great and way too loud when the pub is not even that full.

Difficulty parking but once inside there's a nice relaxed atmosphere. Sunday lunch was really good, well cooked and very tasty. Would recommend.

Anyway i have removed feedback as i appreciate your decency of explaining the situation. I was shocked as we hsd read reviews. Just wished we had the explanation over there. Went for Christmas drinks with my volunteer colleagues. Seemed a nice pub. They don't do food but you can order a takeaway to be delivered, apparently.

What a greeting by the lovely staff on arrival, like we lived there & came all the time . Very hospitable generous hosts who made my collie River welcome with a big bowl of beef for her Sunday lunch. Great food, veggie nut roast is pretty good, would highly recommend .. Such a feel good band played, songs everyone knew - the evening was high on entertainment value... thanks we will be back xxx 🌿 xxx

Under new outstanding management! We had a lovely relaxing Sunday afternoon lots of drink choices. Live music and dog friendly with treats and a beer garden. Definitely worth a visit ❤️

Good pub busy on weekend younger age . 18 to 35

The worst place to stay in Llantrisant. The pub downstairs with loud music will keep you awake until small hours of the morning. Management are unhelpful. Hotel guests are left to endure loud music and unruly pub guests late at night. Kitchen is filthy and cleaning is grossly deficient. We will not recommend it to anybody.

The only place worth visiting in llantrisant. Amazing food and a decent pint. At a very decent price as well. What more could you ask for. James the owner is an absolute gem will do anything for you and michelle in the kitchen is a saint. These two really know how to run a boozer. If its not already, make this your local!!!

Proper local pub. Good atmosphere, cracking food, and most importantly, outstanding customer service. The guys at the cross keys really can't do enough for you, genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. They do a fantastic pint too. Would recommend 100%

Lovely pub, animal friendly Staff are brillaint and friendly. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Happy Hour From 6pm until 8pm! Pool table and dart board available as well.

Disgusting management. Was paid half of the agreed fee. Do not play live music at this venue. They use threatening language, belittle you and refuse to pay more than half of what they agreed. And I’ve heard plenty of stories like it.

Top night drinking and playing pool

A rarity these days, a pub that actually looks like a pub, complete with dart board and pool table. Under new management since the end of September, the pub has been redecorated to a high standard and has new furniture, lighting and TV's. Currently doing a pie (delicious!!) & a pint for £4.50 and Sunday dinners, but will soon be doing meals every day. Forgot to mention, it's also dog friendly and gets 4 paws and a wagging tail from Charlie!!

just had the best pub sunday roast ever! fresh veg,roasties cooked in goose fat,sumptious portions reasonable price,lovely friendly welcoming staff,can't praise this highly enough get yourself down there!!
