Awesome friendly staff and a nice chilled pub 😊 great pint and you are able to watch football and horse racing on a Sat afternoon

I'm not sure if they did food, but it was really cosy and friendly. There's a smoking area outside with the heaters, so that helps, I'm looking forward to going again

40 years ago I walked into this pub and it changed my life for ever,I met the girl I would marry and who is still the love of my life so where else to celebrate 40 years together back where it all started. It hasn't changed a bit still a lively,friendly pub was my local on a Sunday night one of the best pubs in Porth

Stopped off for a nice drink after a hot sunny day at the beach. Very covid friendly and staff very efficient and friendly. Enjoyed our drinks in the lovely garden in the the evening sunshine. Definitely will visit again!

The Rheola Hotel since refurbishment is my go to place in the Valleys for a pint and banter with the locals.. With friendly accommodating landlord and lovely bar staff, and good selection of drinks. Pool table, dart board and show live sports and number of TV screens.. have a lovely boutique outdoor area where you can imagine that you are over looking the sea.. Nice little suntrap when the sun makes an appears.. and reasonably priced..

Called in to the Rheola on the way back from golf and met a few old friends who had not seen some time . The welcome was first class and the beer top notch. We stayed longer than intended.

Called into the Rheola for a night out, I have always enjoyed this pub. It is set in a good location with it's own car park, also just a short walk away from Porth railway station. The staff are really friendly which is probably why people return. It caters for all age groups which is why it is so popular.

Nice pub. Busy on Saturday nights. £2.75 A pint.. can't fault it. They also take card payments.

OK but limited real ales as owned by Rhymney brewery and I don't rate there beers much, they never seem to have a guest ale anymore. I don't frequent this pub as much as I used to.

Locals very friendly. Now Rhmney brewery ales. Sadly Bass no more. Ales in good condition.

Fantastic place, excellent choice of beers, wines, spirits etc. Plus the staff are outstanding. Perfect place for a quiet drink or a good party. The major plus is the beer garden is outstanding

A good pub, known as a bit of a music pub and late night sessions.

Saved from accidentally walking into the women's toilet by caring locals who pointed me in the right direction. Pool and local beer on tap.

my wife often visits here on a girls night out drinks are a fair price and always has a good feel about it

Having visited here after a meal with friends in the old post office i can honestly say what a waste of time on both counts.The customers were not welcoming the decor a typical old pub that needs dragging and screaming from the 1970s the beer was average and the group of foul mouthed youths that seemed to have carte blanche in the bar drove us out to the beer garden its only redeeming feature if you want to stink of cigarette smoke.

Popped in on a Thursday after seeing the banner outside stating "entertainment every Thursday " only to be told it was 2 years out of date and they don't have entertainment any more. The pint was ok but the pub wasn't very welcoming to new people.

Great pub especially on Quiz Nights on Mondays. Need to get there early to get a seat but the service is great as are the staff.

It is absoulty amazing, the people are just lovely, the bands are amazing it puts a smile on my face:)

Went there fir 1st time a couple of weeks and found it a very friendly atmosphere, I will be visiting regular now withholding the wife. The guy with grudge is obviously a street drinker.
