Great place, karaoke pub. Of the minuses, the toilet is clean, but the smell can be felt throughout the entire second floor

Brilliant pub .staff are the most genuine down to earth people so welcoming beer is spot on probably the best pint in wrexham

If you like a cheap beer in an atmosphere where violence is clearly on offer this is the dive for you.

WELL! This place should come with a warning sign… stay well clear!!! No staff !!! a Middle Aged lady who’s attitude stunk… and drunken men sitting around the bar shouting abuse across it… never again step foot in there… The Gin had a fruit fly in it…

This pub needs a good shake up, visited with friends for a night out down the usual bar crawl, never again!! The Lady behind the bar with blonde hair was lovely, trying to rush to get all customers served as it was busy, but only two staff, at the same time trying to sort out a disagreement a couple of grown adults were having while the door staff didn’t attend, on another note!! The TOILETS, wow what I believe to be cocaine in the floor was confirmed by two men sniffing it point blank in my face, while the toilets are seeping out with human waste.. while I later found out from a regular that the actual landlord had the audacity to sit at the end of the bar drunk and shouting at someone else… stay well clear..

Very friendly staff and management makes you feel very welcome great atmosphere. Great outside sitting area. Would definitely recommend you pop in have a few drinks you will.be made welcome.

The best place around for lunch or dinner! Beyond the fact that the service is top quality the food they put infront of you is always cooked perfectly! My favorite restaurant in North Wales!

We normally like this venue & frequent it every time we go out, but Saturday we went & bought drinks, one being a pint of Moretti, on tasting the drink it clearly had a cider taste to it, so we spoke to the person who served us (who we later found out to be the owner) & was told if we wanted another drink we would have to pay for it, when we refused she told us we needed to finish our drinks & leave.. Rude wasn’t the word.. Needless to say we won’t be going in there again..

I used to practically live here 30 years ago, if I wasn't in work or in bed.... I was in the Foxes! 🙂

Place for the middle aged people. They do karaoke as well. Nice place being run by a very hardworking lady.

Seems a nice pub, only stayed for a few as it felt way too illuminated, was disconcerting.

Me and my friends came for a pub quiz, one of the songs on the quiz I did not know and wanted to know the name of for a later because I wanted to listen to it, when I tried to Shazam the song I was told that we cheated? When I tried to explain what happened I was pushed?! and told to leave, I found this very rude. Middle aged women were threatening young 20 year old people. I will never come back to this pub as it made a terrible name for itself. I do not appreciate being touched by strangers and being threatened by women I don't know. Terrible

Great prices, lovely outdoor area, friendly staff and the quiz (8pm Tuesday) was a lot of fun!

After spending 3 hours looking at reading classes in town got totally fed up + Opted for a lovely coke zero here in a cute glass bottle ♡ served by a nice lady behind the bar.

Visited this pub a couple of months back and found it atrocious, poorly run with a uninviting atmosphere, as I’m from wrexham and I heard on the grape vine it was under new management, I thought everyone deserves a second chance, I visited again last weekend to be greeted by great door staff (with a smile) unusual, bar staff great with great personalities which is nice to see, being a publican for numerous years I know the pressures they face, I throughly enjoyed my night out with great music..will return again now, praise given to the new management and bar staff your doing a great job..

The "DJ" doesn't mix the music he sits by the bar drinking and gets paid for it while the music is poorly automixed. Cheap beer though 😊

Made a visit here Saturday, where do I start? On entry door staff were fine, I got to the bar to be ingnored by what looks like kids working in a sweet shop, they were more interested in their mobile phones than any customer relations! After waiting what seemed like forever I was greeted unpleasantly by a young “Boy” I would say, who obviously was having a bad day, to be asked “yes what you want? “ in a sarcastic manner! after ordering and receiving my drink, in a hot glass! I questioned it to be told “tuff that’s all we have” I was astonished at the attitude and sarcasm he had, after all his job was to serve me what I requested in a manner that is acceptable, I wouldn’t recommend this public house to anyone expecting a nice cold drink with a smile, because you certainly do not get this..

Ok, but staff need to know the drinking up laws

If you want a quick beer and sport on telly it's a great place to go. If you want good beer, it isn't. Don't get me wrong, if you like lager or mass-produced keg beer, you can't go wrong.

But it's OK to be there dressed in clothes that leave nothing to the imagination. Cheap beer yeah.. . If that's what you want...... But a good pub is more than that.

Not the dive it used to be, friendly staff however another place with the toilet upstairs.

This is one pub I really like there not many like this but you just make yourself at home always warm and comfortable you don't freeze to death I am just made up thanks to the cross foxes cheers

This pub is not bad Keith the boss is a nice guy. Good outside area in the summer. some of the staff need to smile a bit more and could be a little more polite.

Just visited cross foxes wrexham, beer always gud no probs but service behind bar appalling, she walked passed me twice b4 another punter got her attention in my behalf. Had a second pint and the look of contempt when i dare ask for the correct glass for my drink was unbelievable. I know its not the best job working in a pub. But if u dont like it, quit! Your be doing yourself and customers a favour

Visited here on a weekend break to Wrexham! Nice little pub but stunk so badly of cigarette smoke. Had the 1 drink then left unfortunately

This was my second visit to the Cross Foxes and for the second time I had an excellent meal. The range and quality of food available is always great, and they often present inspired combinations and old favourites along side each other, black pudding starters, and well cooked burgers and steaks. The more adventurous members of your party will be well satisfied, while those just out for very good food will also find a wealth of choice. They keep a great cellar, and take pride in there local ales. I great place to eat and drink.
