Enjoyable meal with the family. Decent food, although portion sizes were on the small size. Helpful and friendly staff.

Not eaten here for a while, the quality of the food seems to have dipped. Had the brisket and it was flavourless and rubbery.

Great for pizzas and pasta. Very impressive restaurant design giving it a relaxed atmosphere.

Did this place change management? Really expensive and poor quality! A “one pizza base fits all” model it seems. Strange flavours (whole head of coriander plant and cucumber on a pizza) and small portions (10” pizza £16). Made to sit upstairs with carrying a pram when lots of free tables downstairs for some weird reason. Overall very disappointing experience, I would not go back at all! Far better quality, prices and service at Rudy’s or Dokes to be completely honest…

I have been coming to croma for so many years. More than I’d like to admit. I’ve been with friends for years, with family and now with my own child. I HAD to write a review about my latest visit. My son loved it. So much. And ate more than I’ve possibly ever seen him eat! First of all I am a prepared mum. We’d been to the library and brought books to read in case of any waiting. We were given an activity pack that might be the best activity pack I’ve ever seen. We made an origami style parrot (now proudly my son’s book shelf), completed puzzles and colouring. The menu is great and caters well for a variety of adults and for children too. My son was happy and at ease. Staff chatted to him and he felt at home, as I do. The food was absolutely amazing and we both ate everything. We were served really quickly (important when dining with a 5 year old) everything just ran so smoothly. My son couldn’t wait to tell his grandparents about this EXTREMELY special restaurant he’d been to. And he can’t wait to go again! Croma is a bit of a ‘go to’ place as I always know it will be good. But honestly my visit yesterday was exceptional. I can’t recommend enough. For a meal with friends, for a family birthday or for a special treat for a 5 year old. Croma does it all.

Nice place But was cold while we were there. I wasn't happy being charged an extra 3 pounds for my pizza So ended up paying 17 pounds which I wasn't happy about.

Pizza is ok, better than frozen ones. Yet a long way to Italian level. The atmosphere is great, waiters are nice.

Food good if not a little expensive for pizzas. Beer massively overpriced up yhis seems to be the norm for Italian themed restaurants. £5-50 for a s all bottle of Peroni come on.

Went out with colleagues for a night out and it was a good experience. Pizza was good and when I asked for it to be extra spicy it came out as I wanted.

Great service even though it was busy. Great food, I'd the goats cheese pasta, great with the kids. Everything was lovely, food, atmosphere ans service. Gorgeous feel to it inside and it's clean! Pleasant toilets, which is a hard find nowadays!

The food here was delicious and plenty of choice on the menu. From Pizzas to Pastas. We did go on Sunday Lunch time which was very quite.

Ordered 2 pizzas.1 of them to be gluten free for my husband. When they arrived I checked with waitress that mine wasn’t GF, although I could see that it was. She said she’d checked and it wasn’t. I proceeded to eat some and it was quite clearly GF. I do eat GF and I’m familiar with the taste. At the end of the meal, when asked how things were, I reiterated that my pizza had been GF and not what I ordered.. I didn’t want a replacement or any refund, just an acknowledgement. The waitress said that the Manager had looked at it and it wasn’t GF.. Both my husband, who always eats GF, and I had eaten some of it we both could tell that it was GF. So basically the manager was saying I was lying about it-for what end I can’t imagine! It would have been polite of the manager to speak to us personally.but it seems they knew better.

Came on a Monday evening and it was pretty busy. Staff was a bit rushed off their feet so it was hard to get their attention, however, the food did come pretty quick. The food was well presented and portioned, pizza was a bit soggy for my liking but the taste was good. The cheesy doughballs were perfect.

Lovely atmosphere, we have visited a few times now, foods good, service is great, staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a halal chicken menu which we appreciate, the peri chicken pizza is our family fave!

Visited today for lunch, the restaurant was extremely cold and uncomfortable, I had to sit with my coat on and do did other customers. Given the prices this restaurant charges at least they could do is to have the place at a comfortable temperature. Clearly they are penny pinching , and not bothered about comfort. The food was “ok” it’s definitely not the Croma I remember and have loved for many years. Now Rudys is opening in the same precinct, they need to significantly improve, or go out of business.

Gone downhill. Not the best start to the night when you’re seated alongside a party of 20+ who are better suited to Wetherspoons. Service slow, food mediocre at best. Only plus is the lovely young man serving, who is always polite, attentive and clearly knows his job. Lots of other nice places to eat she will be giving Croma a miss.

Poor quality food,sent garlic bread back twice it was cold,poor excuse made that the dough is thin and will lose heat quickly and would we like it reheating or a new one ,asked for a fresh one ,still cold in middle,lasagne was expensive and poor quality and the portion was not big. Took off the garlic breads like they were doing us a favour,we won't be back in a hurry

We visited with my elderly grandparents. This restaurant was nice and staff were friendly. Food was well priced and portions generous. Would come back for sure

Not much atmosphere, very little opinions for food and every time you try to make a booking they are completely full however the place is empty, makes me laugh... And on the expensive side for what you get.

Menu a bit sparse. Pasta dishes limited with limited choice if you don’t eat beef and don’t like spicy food. If you like pizza there is a better choice at PizzaExpress or Ask. Had to settle for a salad which was dry and unappealing. Could be better. Very disappointed with the change of menu.

Went for tea with my daughter and friends. Food was nice and nice atmosphere. My daughter loved the pudding and the little colouring pack she was given.

Always a beautiful local spot for a family meal or date night. We try something new on the menu each visit, and this place never disappoints. The staff are lovely, the restaurant is stunning, yet the atmosphere itself is always welcoming and warm. Don't even get me started on that tiramisu! We'll be back

Our experience at this beautiful restaurant was exceptional. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-class. Our server was outstanding, providing world-class attention. The food was perfect, and the cocktails were delicious. Celebrating my partner's birthday here was a fantastic choice. Kudos to the management for running such a great establishment. We will definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning.

The Croma is a classic restaurant in the Prestwich area. It's known for its pizzas, which are truly delicious. However, I feel like the menu isn't that big and not very varied. I which for more options. The staff are very friendly and polite and happy to answer questions and guide you. The bathrooms are clean and pleasant. However, I do feel the balcony area is a little bit cut off from the ambience and may need a revamp. It was too close to the computer the servers use and not enough lighting. Would come again, though

Just what we needed on a chilly for June early evening. Staff were all friendly, helpful and interested in the food. The correct amount of food discussion, and tips exchanged. The house red was light and a good accompaniment to the menu. The oven baked mushers in garlic were a hug, what's not to like, esp. with peppery rocket on top. The aubergine melanze was also umami-tasty. The pizza with salad leaves was also good. It's independent, light and airy and no chance of bumping into Prince Andrew.

So…. Before I start! The customer service here is the best by a long stretch!!! - we had a fairly disappointing experience when we ordered through Deliveroo! Our order took longer than expected and when it arrived it was missing 1 of the 3 meals! - delivery driver was awful and blamed the restaurant! (Not my problem type attitude) this is where it got better! Called Croma! Super apologetic and understood - arranged for a repeat of the order and even offered a free gift to say sorry!! Other places should learn from the exceptional customer service the manager took! - I always say mistakes or issues don’t represent you! The way you deal with it does! And croma did a very good job!! Thank you

am a 75 year old retired teacher and have frequented this restaurant on many occasions with friends and family. I went in there for a mid week lunch recently and arrived before two members of my family. I asked to have a seat on the window level where we had always sat previously. It was quiet with maybe only a quarter of the tables occupied. The waitress was just checking which, if any tables had been reserved when a manager came by, looked me up and down and said that all the tables on the window level were reserved and put me down, alone in a dark and gloomy area. I got the impression that the manager just didn’t want me in view as the waitress looked a bit flustered by his response. I can only think that he thought I wasn’t smart enough. ( I was wearing expensive, branded and stylish but casual clothes but with walking boots. It may have been my age he objected to.) I don’t know the issue but it certainly made me feel that I was the wrong type for his establishment.

Had a lovely lunch, but did not appreciate the waitress coming up to me to tell me that my trousers were see-through and she could see the outline of my pants!

We have been visiting croma as a family for years and has been a favourite as something for everyone on the menu. Our last visit came to an unfortunate & disappointing end due to a very unpleasant & unprofessional member of staff who I presume to be the manager wrongly accusing my son & his partner of having under age sex in the toilet!!!! I've brought him up to have a little more class than that. The manager continued this conversation at our table with other customers close by. We were told we couldn't order anymore food & to leave. My son is a very quiet boy who doesn't like attention drawn to himself, in fact it had taken alot of courage to come out that evening as he rarely goes out so we left quietly to spare him any more humiliation. This situation was completely misunderstood & was so poorly handled by said staff member, I'm still in shock by his accusations towards two lovely young people & we had a younger sibling present too. I find it sad that teenagers can be the most judged & discrimated members of our society. Prior to this we had been enjoying our evening. The food & service by other staff members was lovely as usual. Well done on improving the ladies toilets they no longer have that unpleasant odour which has been there for years. My observation not my son's.

Just had a wonderful afternoon celebrating my mum’s 90 th birthday. Jess was responsible for serving our party and was incredibly attentive towards our 29 guests! All the food came out together, it was delicious and the presentation of the food was attractive . Thank you Jess and your colleagues who made our afternoon so special!

The food here is excellent and full of flavour. Service good, and all in a large airy dining space. Recommended.

Daughter & I went for lunch @ 12.45 today. Not been before so thought we would give it a try. We will definitely be going again. The restaurant was completely full and as we hadn't booked we had to wait around 15mins for a table, which was fair enough. Although full, the tables were comfortably set apart, the decor, atmosphere & ambience was friendly & relaxed. The food & service was top quality. Can't wait to go again.

We ve been regular weekly visitors to Croma for many years! And having just read some recent reviews about service at this restaurant I’m appalled! We have witnessed many different scenarios and never once seen anything but first class service in this venue! Infact I would go as far as giving them 20/10 The food consistently amazing! An the staff go above & beyond to provide more than first class service! I have in the past been unfortunate to witness people who think they can bring they re mis behaved children who leave food on the floor & cause mayhem in an immaculate clean restaurant then leave a negative comment! This is definitely not a true review of Croma!

My family have been customers of Croma since its opening it’s a family favorite! So you can imagine our disappointment when our experience of the 2nd April 2024 was beyond what we have come to love about Croma! There have been consistent staff members over the years most being professional and friendly, whom ever was floor manager on this particular night was none of those things, she was surely unfriendly with zero personality! The place at that time was relatively empty! Staff all disappeared then the food arrived that’s starters and mains all at once! The present staff compliment needs a crash course in customer etiquette and service. This was intended as a nice meal for our mums birthday! Really not what we e come to expect nor displayed by Croma staff over the years.

We've enjoyed Croma as a special treat for special occasions over the 12 years we've lived locally. Today we were celebrating a massive double birthday and the food and service were exemplary as always. I love how you're never rushed. We had a wonderful meal but having spent nearly £200 on a 50/75 year celebration, maybe you could have brought out the after dinner teas /coffees with a little happy birthday chocolate or something? Individual staff wished us happy birthday when they saw our birthday badges - so overall it was a lovely lunch

Wow this place was awesome. Went for my birthday meal and we were very impressed with the service. Weren’t too pushy but always available. I had prawns for stater, and a pizza for main… went down a treat! And the cocktails went down well too. Very modern feel when inside and sat down too. If you want a nice Italian in Prestwich, I’d come here again without a doubt. We parked in the small car park for free just down from it too. Always a bonus

Great service and great food. We used to be regulars but after moving this was our first time back since 2015 and this is still a fantastic restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Visited Croma Prestwich on Mother’s Day for joint mother’s day meal and birthday celebration. Definitely not value for money. Beef lasagne portion very small, 10” pizza lacking topping and definitely not straight from the oven, no bubbling cheese and pizza base not fresh. All meals of guests with us were small also, more ‘starter’ sized and having paid the large bill for little food, we left still feeling hungry. It was busy because of Mother’s Day, but was noisy and overheated with no air conditioning. Felt sadly deflated and wished we hadn’t bothered. Won’t be going again.

Brilliant pizzas! Amazing staff! They really go the extra mile! I always look forward to dining here! I would like to particularly point out that the manager (I think he was). I didn't get his name. We enquired about our blind friends who have a guide dog. He was very passionate about disabilities. We will be joining you soon, and thank you for accommodating us. It speaks volumes respectfully for not judging people with protective characteristics! No discrimination! Hats off to the staff at Croma! 5*

Went for colleague leaving, first time, staff friendly anfmd food lovely, would go back.

I've previously been with friends and the food is always lovely. My favourite is the nduja and hot honey pizza. Spicy and sweet, delicious!

A terrible experience. We asked for a large wine and a small one arrived. When we pointed this out. They said they can't change it. Next I ordered the mushroom and rigatoni. When it arrived, I said,Is the chicken on it. The waitress looked and said yes. I looked closely and saw it had been omitted. I told the waitress who said she would sort it By the time it arrived the other members had almost finished their main course. I was really stressed, and just glad to leave.

We had poor service. One guest asked for a large glass of wine. When a small one arrived, we were told it couldn't be changed, but would just charge only for the small one. Next I ordered the mushroom rigatoni with additional chicken. When it arrived, I asked if there was chicken in it I was assured it was. On closer examination I found there was not any chicken. Eventually I got the attention of the waitress, who apologised and took it away. By the time my meal arrived the others in the party, despite eating really slowly had almost finished their main course. Just glad to leave. We had been going to the restaurant for over 10 years, mainly for large family occasions. There is not an email address to complain to. I hope Croma read this and put their email address on.

Great food. I always order the same, tomato garlic bread, chicken Caesar pizza, sticky toffee pudding and strawberry juice and it never disappoints! Would recommend

Been here twice before commenting. The food was bland and average at best on both occasions. Expensive for the portions offered. Staff and atmosphere are good. Surprised by the positive reviews regarding the food.

Visited 5 pm on a Saturday evening, moderately busy when we arrived, pretty packed when we left at 7....glad we booked a table. Service was prompt, efficient and pleasant. Food really good and sensibly priced. This is our second visit and would definitely go back.

Honestly, it's ok. Eaten here a few times and delivery as well. Pizza is poor, not stone baked Italian pizza it's just a pizza you could get from any big standard take away, Aldi stone baked pizzas are better. Pizza extremely over priced for what you get. Pronto is Salford do better pizzas for half the price. Service was good though.

I like Croma, I've always liked Croma, but I feel they are now charging too much for what is just pizza afterall. Will I go again? Of course, but maybe not as often as I have done in the past.

Most of the food we had from here was delicious, we asked for something not on the menu (just a cheesy pasta for our child) but this wasn't great at all. The food quality in general was average, maybe a 6/10. The restaurant was lovely, modern and clean with good lighting. The service was very friendly and quick which was ideal with us having children.

Very nice and reliable. Nice atmosphere for Prestwich (not a place of any special or particular merit, to be frank). I've eaten there a good few times - food good, service good and decent value-for-money too. My choice of eatery in this neighbourhood.

Been many times to all 3 Branches over the years. But this time. Arrived at 7.30 . To be turned away. Say the close at 7.30. Clearly states 8.30. Not happy on a rain soaked night.

We went here to meet up with some family for a meal, but left feeling quite annoyed. We have been to this branch of Croma several times over the years and have always had a good experience. However this time, the rude and disrespectful way we were treated towards the end of our meal really took the shine off our afternoon. The meal itself was fine - a couple of our pizzas were a bit soggy in the middle, but not bad enough to send back, and they had been quite stingy with the cheese on the children’s pizzas, but all in all it was satisfactory. As soon as I asked for the bill, the waiter started sweeping the floor around our feet, spraying the table and wiping the chairs while we were still sat there! The manager or whoever the man was front of house was giving us side eyes and our waiter went from being friendly to being cold, bordering on rude. We hadn’t finished our drinks at that stage but they made it so obvious they wanted us out, they all but swept us out of the restaurant! Our opinion of this place has completely changed after today. They made us feel so unwelcome. Don’t worry, Croma, we definitely will NOT be darkening your door again.

Been visiting Croma for a few years with friends. Staff are always friendly and attentive even when it’s busy. Food comes out quickly and is always fresh and tasty. Have noticed the prices have increased and the portions are smaller since covid but I suppose that’s the same everywhere. Bring back the early bird offer and the tomato salad starter and it would be perfect.

It needs refurbishment tables old

First time trying here. It looks the part and the staff were lovely. The food was very average unfortunately. Mushroom starter was all salad, barely any mushrooms and pretty tasteless. The pizzas were strangely soggy.

Have been a regular customer at Croma since opening over many years. Visited today for lunch. As always the staff were very attentive and lovely as always. The chicken Cesar Pizza my favourite, was probably the worst I’ve had at Croma , the base was burnt on the bottom, and very hard to cut or chew, i ended up leaving it. I could have sent it back however I was with a friend and didn’t want to make scene, the chef should ensure meals are edible before leaving the kitchen, he had obviously left it in the oven too long. The restaurant wasn’t busy so no excuse for serving poor quality pizza.
