Staff are welcoming and friendly. Food and drinks are always hot, beware. Recommend booking but walk-in's welcome. Senior prices on offer. Cannot comment about children as I have only visited during the day when they are attending school.

Friendly staff, great service, always remember what you ordered before. Good place to go with friends and the fish is excellent too. Highly recommend!

Stop off here for a quick snack but the fish & chips smelt so good we opted for a fish & chip lunch. Out laws had a senior persons fish & chip lunch, I had a cod only lunch & the Mrs had an cheese omelette w chips & salad. The fish batter was crispy & light & the fish was so big, fresh, flaky & full of flavour that I didn't want it to finish. The omelette was again fresh, fluffy & full of flavour. All 4 meals were served piping hot, plentiful & fantastic flavour, cant wait to return

The food, especially the cod, was good and well cooked to a golden colour . The chips were OK. I asked for the chips to be very well done. Despite them attempting to do so, the 'fries' were too thin to prepare this way. This was because they were fries, not chips. It was a good try. But I know now to not ask. This is a good restaurant/take away to which I will return.

Absolutely fantastic haddock chicken and chop shop. Sooo tasty Not from the area but would recommend it any day. Great atmosphere great food. Wasn’t sure why another customer was served before me although she came in after me with. a much larger order but I’ll let that pass this time and see if that reoccurs next time

My mum has always rated this fish and chip shop. Intact most of Orpington High Street seems to rate them, too, lol. I can see why. The portions are great. The fish is a generous size, and the chips dont taste like they're cooked in stale oil. I ordered chicken and chips. I didn't think the chicken would taste as good as it did, but the seasoning was lovely. I will definitely order from them again. Lovely staff, too.

Haven't been here in years. Place was very clean, food good, wine good, whole meal and drinks reasonably priced. The most import thing is they did a simple egg and chips which was brilliant for my difficult to feed daughter. We shall definitely go back there. The staff were also very friendly. There was an amazing salad as well.

Fish and chips always superb and cooked to perfection, with lovely crispy batter on the cod. Everyone who visits us from out of town says the fish and chips here are the best they’ve ever had, and we agree! The staff are always so cheerful and friendly, and service is first class. Highly recommend a visit!

Amazing food, great service. Clean and friendly environment. Very good value for money We are really welcomed by all staff. We have now become regulars each week. My children love the milkshakes.

7 of us had Sunday lunch together, nothing was too much bother for the staff. Tables moved so we were all able to sit together. The service and food were excellent, the staff very polite, altogether a very good experience. Would highly recommend.

Excellent fish and chips. The best in the area I've tasted. Excellent kid option too. Excellent scampi. Nice friendly service. They truly listen to what you need. Thank you. One disadvantage is parking is a bit harder but carry on driving past crispy cod out of the high street and hopefully find some street parking around the corner. But it's definitely worth the trouble. We'll be back

The chicken is really so spot on omg. We came when they were about to close so they only had like 2 chickens left but we still enjoyed em and the burgers were so lit! We even received sausages for free. The staff were really very accommodating and we had a great time to cap out day. Definitely gonna order the bucket chicken soon! Come visit!

This is a wonderful place to get fish and chips. I travel with my wife and in-laws from Beckenham every two weeks and more when we can, to get our fix of fish and chips and it is by far our favourite place for this type of food. We have tried many places which never compare. We eat in and get freshly cooked fish and chips straight from the fryer in a very warm atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and really knows how to keep his customers happy. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and I know you will not be disappointed if you give it a go.

Where do I begin? These are most likely the nicest people you will ever meet. In all the years that I have been going here, I have never once even heard of anyone having less than a stellar experience. The food is perfectly cooked, the drinks ice cold and the environment always warm and welcoming with a wonderful menu filled with delicious items! Truly above and beyond! I can't recommend it more! We have been here several times to eat in. Ultra Friendly people here. The cod is cooked to perfection and a good portion. They told me they have special light batter and beer is added. Crispy but not burnt and easy to digest. Good chips too. Try it. We don't drink here but it is licensed to serve alcohol if you want a drink. Kevin and Janet Wilson senior citizens.

Fairly ok place to eat at. Chips are ok at times and are not the best at other times. Friendly polite staff. English needs to be enhanced. Sometimes they do disappoint with the quality of cooking. But they do try to please as best as they can. Best to order in advance if your in a rush.

Crispy cod lives up to its name. A really light crispy crunchy batter covering large good quality fish thats fried in clean oil. Ive lived nearby for many years but never tried them. This is far the best i know for miles around. First place i visit when back from holiday. Takaway sit in and delivery service available. Called in again with a friend same amazing quality quantity.

However, when things are more normal, I do like to eat in their cosy restaurant area. Five Stars are not quite enough!

My family and I absolutely love going here. The food is great quality at a low price and they offer a huge range of food. They have all the classic fish and chip shop foods (cooked to a very high standard) but also have some great wraps (the halloumi wrap is great!). To top it all off, the guys that ran the shop are absolutely lovely, work very quickly and offer great customer service. Can not recommend this enough!

Fantastic fish and chips. 3rd time we have bought from here as a treat for my 98 year old grandmother and she loves the fish from here. The staff are extremely polite and friendly and this makes me come back to them as a bonus to the fantastic tasty food.

Best in the area. I’ve tried pretty much every fish and chip shop in the orpington, Bromley, Chislehurst and evening London area and this is my favourite and I travel to Orpington just for it.
