I place an order Saturday afternoon on 15th April 2023. The delivery was on time and that's the only positive. The chips was an odd colour, had a hint of grey to then and didn't taste right. The fish bites batter was hard and the fish meat inside was though and rubbery, as if they had been reheated. The mince beef pie didn't tate right, I opened the pie it was dry inside. I smelt the inside and I vomited. Can't even describe the smell. The lot was thrown in the bin. I never write reviews, but I was disgusted with my poor food quality. I'm also worried that someone could become seriously ill, if this continues. The owners need to be held accountable and need to be checking what's being produced on there premises.

I phoned up to order a pizza only to be told they didn’t serve it. But it’s on a brand new menu?. So I thought maybe they don’t take pizza orders over the phone, so I went in and asked again. Was told very rudely again that they didn’t serve them. Take it off your menu then. Liars as well as bad mannered

Orders a delivery in Just Eat called because it was late and they said it was on it’s way and it never arrived but they took out money!!! Avoid at all costs they lie and stole our money !!!!!!!!

Zero food rating. Just been on BBC news for mouse droppings in food. Avoid and save your money and hsalth

Got a take away here and was really nice and the staff were nice also. It did not take long very efficient.

So far the chippy is the nicest chip shop in Newport I’ve been to. Staff are always friendly and chatty.. cod chips and curry sauce taste amazing. My sister loves the chicken wraps here. If I’m craving a chippy this is where il go.

My partner ordered from the Chippy through Just Eat. He ordered me chicken curry and rice (could either have rice or chips with the curry, not half and half) and in the extras section could not find chips. So instead I also had potato fritter and a corned beef rissole. The food arrived and when I opened the box which held the chicken curry and rice it was only half full, the curry was the powdered stuff you add water to and they threw in a few little strips of chicken pieces. It was also only lukewarm. The potato fritter was appalling, worst I had ever eaten. The potato was too thick and not cooked through and the batter was not crispy. The corned beef rissole was average. I would never recommend this place to eat, cheap ingredients.

Unbelievably rude and apathetic service on both occasions I’ve visited here. I won’t be making the same mistake a third time.

Nice fish and chips at a very good price. Lots to choose from if you do not like the fish and chips.

Sever got my order wrong, then blamed me for his mistake. He had a serious attitude problem from the second I walked in. The average food is not worth dealing with that dirty little chav.

Wish this aweful place was in pembs!!! Went there about 9ish a few Friday's ago. Friendly enough to start with. But then money was handed over and not put in till. So asked to pay twice!! Fish was in two pieces!! Fish cake was like rubber!! Chips were WELL AWEFUL!! And carton of curry was burst open so won't be going near there again!! Hope I can add the pictures

Just got back from this chippy. Tastes fantastic, freshly cooked, good value for money with very friendly staff. Would definitely use again and peace of mind as it offers full halal menu
