Crepes a la Carte in Camden

Worth a visit but quite slow service. £4 for juice is a bit much. Good coffee and crepes which you would hope considering it's a crepe place.

My daughter and I were in Camden for my birthday. It was lunchtime, but I knew we were going out for dinner that evening and wasn’t super hungry. I wanted lighter fare. This fit the bill perfectly! I had an Italian crepe that was very fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that the man making the crepe touched it with his hands, ungloved. I’m a bit funny about my food. I would recommend the crepes here but please don’t touch other people’s food.

Genuine French galettes filled with quality ingredients in this small cafe/restaurant. Fast, friendly service and good ciders too. Highly recommended. We visited weekday lunchtime.

Pour des crêpes authentiques, C est la bonne adresse. Le patron est breton. L équipe est sympa. Bref, petit restaurant sympathique pour passer un bon moment.

I come to Crepes a la Carte a lot and every single time the crepes and galettes have been completely amazing. The apple crepes and the speciality flavours are wonderful (the nutella option is stunning simplicity too). The galettes are also fantastic, I have had the savory la vegan and it was amazing. The coffee is also not to be scoffed at, it's my favourite coffee place! Finally the staff and the service are top rate, they are always so warm and friendly. A genuine must visit.

We were thrilled to be able to order and collect from Crepes a la Carte. Their products are authentic and fresh (+ organic). Service is swift and friendly. French cider is crisp and bubbly. Thank you !

The crepes are very good, lots of different options with very good ingredients. I went there with my kids and they loved it They are not cheap though...

J'ai déjeuné ce midi au restaurant .la galette paysanne était cuite à la perfection le jambon de bonne qualité je vous conseille le cidre bio du petit fausset qui a une très belle robe orangée et un arôme sur le fruit le service parfait je vous recommande cet établissement

My friends and I had a lovely light lunch of savoury crepes. Portion size just right, tasty fillings and crispy thin pancakes. The service was friendly and efficient. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very clean. Would definitely come back when in the area.

The food is ok, but very expensive. Staff were very rude, and not helpful, we won't be going there again.

On nous avait conseillé d’aller manger chez Eva et Thomas. On en regrette pas. Tout était excellent, de la galette complète en taille enfant au kouign aman! Nous sommes repartis ravis! Une adresse à ne pas rater si on se promène du côté de Camden Town!

turned up today specifically for a birthday at 5.30 (30 mins before closing time) only to be told they were closed because they were quiet! 5 of us left feeling v disappointed.

And boy, were we glad. It's a quiet little place with extra space in the basement. The service was great and so were the crepes with many different ingredients (sweet or sour). Above all, the prices were very reasonable.

My son kyle recommended this restaurant for breakfast .Wow! It was delicious with very generous ingredients . Will go again.

We visited for Sunday breakfast. We were absolutely wowed by the delicious, authentic Breton crepes and galettes. Not only were they cooked perfectly, but they were made with top-quality ingredients (Breton buckwheat flour for the galettes, high-quality hams and cheeses, etc) - you got the feeling the staff (who I think are French) really cared about the food they were making.

The staff here are lovely add have made me feel very welcome since I started visiting. The coffee is great, and their galettes are delicious and great for a light meal. I'm yet to try the crepes, but I've heard other customers appreciating them and can't wait! The manager, Eva, remembered my name and how I take my coffee after only a single visit. This is now my go-to place to centre myself before my shift.

The owner of this place is arrogant and rude, to the degree that despite having decent food I will never go back, not rude once, but several times. Shame.

Les crêpes au blé noir sont très copieuses,les garnitures de qualité, seul bémol pour moi elles sont un peu trop cuites les bords sont vraiment trop croustillants. Les crêpes sucrées sont excellentes notamment lorsqu'on mes accompagne avec une boule de glace vanille. Cidre de très bonne qualité.

I adore this creperie! My french boyfriend is in his element here and feels right at home! The cider is delicious and the savoury gallettes as much a treat as the sweet crepes.

Crepe vegetariano delicioso. Podría haber comido 3 y felizmente yo volvían a nuestro hotel. El chef amable aseguró a preguntar sobre cualquier allegies y sobre varios ingredientes como él lo hizo. Sabrosa alforfón crepes tenía champiñones, vegetariano espinacas, albahaca y tahini salsa de limón. Tenía una esposa de uno de los sabrosos y también opciones normal me encantó. Sin duda volveremos cuando estemos en la zona.

DELICIOUS crepes, been to the place few times and the crepes are always fresh AND yummy. Never managed to make such a crispy and light crepes at home.

This place makes assorted Galette pancakes....a Breton speciality. Made with Buckwheat flour and can be vegan,gluten-free ,lactose free. Started with a soup...nice but £5 for a small bowl! Then I had "La Complete" which has free-range ham,emmenthal cheese and a free-range egg ..£8.10. I added some Andouille (£1.50)...this is sausage made from tripe and was tasty. My partner had "La Nordique"...smoked salmon,spinach,creme fraiche,chive and lemon..£9.30. We also had some Breton cider....definitely moreish! Overall a good experience!!! Staff friendly an d helpful. Only gripe was the freezing gale every time the front door was opened. There are sweet crepes available but we were too full!

Awful smelling food today, food wasn't fresh or hot and smelt like horse poo. Bad customer service wouldn't even come and take the delivery back so had to put the entire meal in the bin.

It is always hard to live abroad and find places where you can find good crepes and buckwheat galettes. Fortunately, we have discovered Crepes a la carte in the Kentish Town neighborhood. Thomas and Eva offered plenty of options to fill in your crepes or galettes but definitely recommend la biquette or la complete. I could talk a lot about their good quality and savory products (e.g. homemade caramel, cider, juice, etc.) but I could not mention the effort they put in decorating the place with good taste and simplicity. It is like eating at a friend place!

It's a great place, the girl who was working that day was lovely and made us feel like at home. I ordered a Nutella crepe, it was perfect. We really enjoyed our time there.

Personnelle entièrement français . Escale incontournable après une balade à camden market. Cidre et jus de pomme directement importé de Bretagne merci à toute l'équipe pour leur accueille et leur services et bravos à Thomas et Eva pour cette belle réussite .

Crêperie très bien située à deux pas de Camden Market, idéal pour une petite pause gourmande après la cohue. Crêpes et galettes excellentes, et originales. En tant que bretonne, je suis d'habitude assez sceptique sur les garnitures non "classiques", ce restaurant m'aura convaincue, la galette "Verte" est à tomber ! Ambiance et accueil chaleureux, service impeccable, et très bon rapport qualité/prix. Il fait bon d'être en Bretagne à Londres...

I went late morning so had an apple crepe and a flat white, both delicious. Really friendly service from, I think, the owner, a French lady from Brittany which explains why the crepe was so delicious! Excellent choice on the menu of savoury and sweet and also you can choose buckwheat or regular and there was a focus on fresh ingredients. Drinks menu looked good too, definitely plan to come back to try more. Very friendly and relaxed environment, clean, great food at good value what more can you ask from a local restaurant!

Delightful service - very friendly.Delicious coffee.Between us, we had a cheese and ham crepe and also a smoked salmon one. Both very tasty and really quite filling - good as they were about £8 each. No room for a sweet crepe - so we'll have to go back for one.Good atmosphere and clean.

Very good food (crepes and galettes as good as in my homeland of Brittany), very friendly staff. Atmosphere is very nice downstairs with a cosy sofa and books if you fancy a read with your coffee! Unfortunately we had very short time to enjoy more the place!

I walk down to the Uni and found this cafe, it mainly sells crepes but it also offering coffee and chocolates. It cost me around 6 dollars to enjoy the delicious crepes.

Always came back here for the crepe as they were good and very affordable, visited camden town 4 times and had a snack at Crepes A la Carte, 4 times. Considering that there are literally a hundred food stalls here to choose from, we came back more often than not. not really an exotic or new thing to experience, just something good to eat.
